A cozy pub with great staff and excellent food.

i have used this fish and chip shop for over 5 years , as the new owners have taken over , i was shocked as i placed my usual order for 1 large haddock and a small chips plus a pickled egg -- that cost me £11.80 a price increase of £4 70 more than i used to pay-- in fact the portion was smaller than the previous owner -- so i found another fish and chip shop a mile away which is much cheaper

Been here many times, great food, and great service from the friendly staff. Love the banquet night on a Tuesday. Only thing I would suggest is a takeaway 'set menu'! :)

Ordered a large meal for Christmas day, everything was fantastic. Everything was pipping hot and fresh when collected Christmas day, and all the dishes were great. We will now go to Blue Jade as our regular takeaway as we found it much better than our usual. The smoked chicken was the standout dish for us.

Good food but expensive on a sunday

I go here mainly to work on my laptop. Usually it's busy - that's OK, as long as I get my favourite spot with the wall socket! One downside for me is that it's not very warm - I had my coat, scarf, and hat on today (but some other customers had their coats off, just jumpers).

I was the last order and had wonderful conversation while I waited for my food. The food was wonderful.

We have a weekly Chinese takeaway always from here - excellent food & service always. Have used this Chinese for 10 years at least & always enjoyed the food whether as a couple or as a family.

La pizza vino quemada y faltan ingredientes. Casi ni siquiera comestible. También tomó 35 minutos para una colección para ASAP. Evitar a toda costa.

Well the place looked nice, clean and tidy. Sadly the staff had no idea about prices of food, even with price board right next too them. 1 kids meal and and a small sausage and chips was very over priced at £13 and portion was very small and greasy. Neither of us finished the food as it was not nice at all.

Ordered 4 items and only delivered 3 not refunded and last item arrived 40 min later cold as well awful service. When I called wasn't interested at all that they had forgoten the pizza.
