Absolutely awful , it took over 3 hours for my food to come , I called 4 times in the three hours and just got fobbed off. Whe food arrived it was wrong and cold, they told me it was cooked fresh , that's a lie. The pork dish was bland and you couldn't even chew it, inedible. Called for a full refund to be offered £5 , what a joke , eventually moved to £10 . Avoid if you want to eat nice , hot food and if you don't want to wait over three hours.

Absolutely awful !!! I have ordered three times from this place and every time the order was wrong, tonight however was the worst ever. I waited over three hours for my order to come , that was after 4 phone calls. When the food came it was yet again not the correct order, the food was warm at best and the pork dish was so chewy and completely tasteless. I called and asked for a full refund and was offered £5 which was a total joke , I asked again , he asked his boss and I was told no again, eventually I received a £10 refund because there was no point arguing over and over again. My advice is to stay away if you don't want to waste your money and you probably won't get the correct order anyway !!!

The service here is always excellent when placing an order over the phone. Would highly recommend. Food is good too!

I liked all the dishes I have tried so far from this place, but Chicken curry and Thai green are my favourite. These guys are generous as well, I get free spring rolls along with the crackers every time I order above a certain amount and believe me it's not a big amount.

Ordered from here couple of times. 1st time food was delivered after 2hours and a phone call. Gave them a chance the 2nd time to redeem themselves. Same problem again, even missing items this time. Shame the food is pretty decent. If ordering go for pick up.

If you want your want dinner from here I'd put your order in the day before! We made an order online at 10 to 7, we was told delivery would be at 8:15. 20 to 9 comes and no food still so I call them and after waiting on hold I get a panicked voice saying they will start cooking our food in 2 minutes so they forgot about us and panicked! Food finally turned up at 9! Was average when it arrived! I won't be ordering from there again!

Had a fantastic meal delivered from this place last night. Love their Special Fried Rice and Kung Po chicken. Portion sizes were excellent. We will definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Always get our Chinese food here, good portion sizes and nicely cooked food. It can get busy on the weekends and there can be more of a wait so often best to order in advance.

Has this place changed hands! We've always gone here and the food has been outstanding, however last night ordered chicken and chips expecting a chicken quarter in lovely chinese gravy. It was inedible, dried up chicken breast will thick salty gravy can't even give to the dog the salt content would kill him. Time to move on. Shame

Have been using this place for many years unfortunately have had issue in the past but always gone back however this is the final straw for me over 2 hours for delivery and when it finally turns up its cold its just not good enough

Best Chinese I ever had, the taste was class. Also salt and pepper chicken and smoked shredded chicken was so delicious and extra tasty. The chicken curry was the best I've tasted anywhere before. Fantastic chow-main and spring rolls. Sweet n sour chicken balls were so fresh and source was creamy thick and sticky. Well worthy of having dragon in the name and golden for that matter. I and my family will definitely be back for more through out the rest of the year. Well done to all at Golden dragon for making the most fantastic food, success all around. If anyone is looking through reviews to find a nice Chinese you can be sure this is the place. Complements to cheff may I say. 👌👏

We always use Golden Dragon Palace & quite often have 2 or 3 takeaways per month from them , night we ordered our usual but the curry sauce tasted different not so happy now please go back to the original recipe as this is one of the main reasons why we use golden dragon Palace as its usually lovely, .

Well where to start the food is cooked decently I actually look forward to finishing work and coming to this place. This place offers nice polite staff that help with any enquirys . You I even get free stuff as well so I would put your normal food down and come here if you want decent food and good service A shout out to Vincent a good lad very helpful and likes to help and support

I am so upset as this was our favourite Chinese take away and have used for years at least a couple of times a week but unfortunately the relationship has come to an end after waiting an hour and forty minutes for our meal it was then wrong and got to wait another 20 minutes for the right meal we order early to avoid busy times but what's the point a very very disappointed loyal customer

Edible but not the best rice was sticky overcooked chips were old and reheated chow mein wasn't too bad sweet and sour chicken balls overcooked won't be visiting again

This was mine and my husbands first visit here as we were on holiday staying just up the road and thought we would give this restaurant a try , I can honestly say we wasn’t disappointed the food was the best we have had and the staff were very polite , we will definitely be returning:😊

Diabolical service..... full of lies as to why the order is late. I have had to collect my order on several occasions and have sat in your shop listening to you answer the calls . It's the same story each time. Your driver is sick and you are left with one driver. You offer a delivery service but can't deliver. You should be honest with your costomers. Will be ordering else where from now on

Food is very good but service is awful,,the last 3 times I've ordered it's been delivered late, my last order I placed at 6.20 PM and recieved it at 8.20pm that's the last time I'll order from there. In reply to your response to my review. I ordered food to be delivered as for personal reasons I could not get over to your shop, this is not the first time this has happened regardless to whether I live 2 miles or 2 minutes away a delivery is a delivery there is NO excuse for waiting 2 hours for my food, when I phoned you after waiting an hour and a half I was lied to by yourselves and told it was still cooking 😂😂it eventually came bang on 2 hours after ordering, absolutely disgusting service but you can be sure I wont be ordering from you again as its obviously too much trouble, I will be taking my custom elsewhere.

very very poor service, the driver missed an item and when I called to ask where our delivery was as it was late, person on the phone explained to me that he’s missed an item and I asked if they could bring it over and he told me he couldn’t in an awful manner and would have to just give me a refund. Lovely one child without their meal thanks

Food arrived piping hot and on time. The portions were a great size. The flavours so good. I forgot about this takeaway till today, but wont forget again in a hurry.

Used to love this place. Order like once a month. Last couple of times though it's been terrible. Tonight my order was missing an item, nothing but bones in the duck, half of it was cold and when I tried to ring up phone was busy for ages. They admitted to the missing item but tried to blame the cold food on the weather!? They refunded for the item and offered a discount for the next time. We're just gonna go somewhere else next time. In response to the reply: So then why was half of it cold and the other half warm. Are you saying I'm lying? I understand that it's probably a busy night. I just don't understand how the fact that it's been raining all day means half of the food I paid for was cold. And also why is it acceptable to put my address in the reply? Isn't that a breech of GDPR? I will be looking into this further unless my information is removed from your response.

Tried to order by phone this evening but could not get through so ordered on line, big mistake. Waited 2 hours no food arrived, tried ringing but engaged all the time. My husband drove to the premises eventually they found our order at the back. Very disappointing as we have used this chinese for a long time and never had any problems before. Will not be using them again.

We had a takeaway for delivery yesterday in golden Dragon Palace just ordered a special set dinner for three people with my family foods arrived quick and hot, I can’t believe all of these foods are massive loaded and taste so delicious, especially I loved everything chicken dishes are fresh hundred per cent for sure it wasn’t being reheated or overnight foods. Absolutely five stars!!

The service here is absolutely excellent. My food always arrives hot and on time. All of the staff are very friendly. I don’t have any complaints about the quality of food, it’s delicious.

This take away is absolutely superb!! The delivery is always super fast, and I mean lightening speed. For example,18.30 placed order online, 18.53 the food was delivered. The food is always piping hot and tastes delicious, and they cater for individuals taste, example I don't like chillies so ask to have them left out, and they do. The staff are very welcoming, super efficient, and friendly. Customer service 10/10, they once forgot to put an item in the bag and after a quick call they had it with me within 10 minutes. Have used these for 5 years Highly highly recommended!

Just ate a meal from Golden Dragon, kinson. OMG , absolutely gorgeous. Piping hot and tasty. Didn't expect the free mini pancake rolls prawn crackers. Ordered chicken balls ( absolutely loaded and hot) large pancake rolls chicken curry ( yummy) and egg fried rice. Definitely 5 stars!! Well done you 😊

Very poor service food came was cold then checked my meat the beef looked raw. phoned to tell them just refunded the curry so now have to pay more to get a dinner. it’s a shame can’t show photos on here as you could all see how raw it looked. I have eaten from their most weeks I don’t know if new owners but far from being a good service. person on the phone didn’t seem interested. let’s see what trading standards have to say

Always ordered from hear for past five years food was always great but never hot and items constantly missed however was always tasty and value for money however tonight food cold ordered everything with out veg it was full with and when contacted restaurant refused to believe it had been ordered with out veg and completely argued with me absolutely terrible I will never use or recommend again especially after finding prawn in the rice clearly don’t follow allergens guide along with curtesy absolutely pherrel

Just ordered a Chicken & mushroom fried rice without egg , along with a Cantonese Spring roll and was delivered something different. Chicken & mushroom turned out to be just mushroom & rice no egg. And the spring roll was a piece of something in batter. Tried to explain to shop attendant who then argues with me and tells me I am not looking at the things that their driver delivered to me. And by the way the delivery driver was much better mannered than the individual in the ship. Extremely upset with this and I will not be buying any of their food again

Golden dragon palace I only got chicken and chips within five minutes of ordering it fantastic I am going to give this 3 and a half stars only because I'm not from this area I have never been in the place and I don't know the people, ill go again.

Had Saturday Night Take Out with Friends Chicken and Cashew Nuts No taste or Flavour. Greasy Rice Dishes, Vegetarian meal with hardly any veg but loads of chunky onions. Everything Greasy and too top it all of have been left feeling blotted and have bad intergestion.

Tasteless, greasy,vegetarian Satay Noodle had hardly any veg just loads of chunky onions and no hint of satay flavour. Every dish left the same horrible aftertaste. To finish the night of felt sick and had bad intergestion.

Favourite Chinese in this area by far!!! Very good quality food for price paid and the restaurant have never once let me down on despite numerous orders. Highly recommend!!!

Worst meal ever have ordered before and was ok today’s was absolutely disgusting we’ve both been sick already the old grease taste took over everything,vile,the chicken satay was like slime and I’m not convinced it was chicken either,mushroom curry was cold but all food just tasted of old grease and I’d say they probably need a good damn clean I would suggest you avoid at all costs !

We always use Golden Dragon Palace and they are definitely the best Chinese takeaway in the area! The quality of food, value and service...all wonderful. They delivered some wrong item this evening (busy Saturday night!) but they dealt with it in a very professional and efficient manner. When I called them to tell them we got the wrong order, they knew who I was and apologized even before I opened my mouth (how do they know...?). We are all humans and we all make mistakes. The important thing is, how to deal with it to correct it. Anyway, we are very happy with what we got tonight. Thank you.

Delivery was pleasantly early, Singapore chow mein is also the best here.

Chop suey was extremely sweet, prawns were like chewing on an old cows udder. Soup was very thick, steamed prawn dumplings were lovely. But unfortunately i wont be returning.

The only problem was the banana fritter tasted like it was fried in old burnt tasting oil

the order wasn’t quite right but the restaurant dealt with it immediately and really well.

The restaurant texted just as the delivery arrived to say one of the main dishes ordered they had run out of. Instead of calling me earlier to ask if I wanted to order an alternative they said I would get a refund on the item and delivered the order one meal short. Not great service and disappointing for my son who got no dinner. Also the food was cold. I have also not received my refund.

Wow what a lovely take away! We used these because our usual shut early, and as vegetarians it's sometimes difficult to find a decent take away. The vegetarian duck with cashew nuts is beautiful! Really nice food all round, and my dad enjoyed the meat based food too. Will definitely be ordering from here again! The food was also early and the driver really polite. Top marks!

After moving home we didnt think we would find a better chinese! BUT the golden dragon is amazing, the best ever! Food is aways tasty and amazing, portion size is great and the customer service is fantastic. Although they were a little bit late they gave us some compensation, which we thought was so generous.
