The Fish & Chip Plaice in Bournemouth

i have used this fish and chip shop for over 5 years , as the new owners have taken over , i was shocked as i placed my usual order for 1 large haddock and a small chips plus a pickled egg -- that cost me £11.80 a price increase of £4 70 more than i used to pay-- in fact the portion was smaller than the previous owner -- so i found another fish and chip shop a mile away which is much cheaper

Don’t be put off by the surroundings. We were on holiday and found this place on TA. Some of the best fish and chips we have tested. All meals are cooked fresh, the batter is light and crispy. Really great! The owner is lovely too!

Me alojé en Bournmouth por unas cuantas noches, y este lugar surgió como uno de los mejores fish and chips de la ciudad, así que pensé en darle una oportunidad. No fue decepcionante, fue absolutamente maravilloso. Las patatas fritas fueron uno de los mejores que he tenido, y el pescado estaba cocinado a la perfección. Debes probar si estás cerca.

A great fish & chip shop, go there at least once a month, good menu, good taste, good price, what else can anyone ask for? Oh yes you can eat in.

Stopping nearby and found leaflet advertising order by phone, seemed great way to go. Ordered over phone and told be ready in 10 minutes. Drove around to shop and collected. Fresh cooked fish, couldn’t be better. Friendly service and would definitely use when nearby.

I went out to look for this place after reading reviews, the food was good and definitely clean and halal. The owner was very nice and humble.

Fuimos bastante lejos aquí, ya que no quería ser estafado en Harry Ramsden (20 minutos).Sin duda el mejor F & C que he probado en el Reino Unido y el mundo.Esto es absurdo, pero Dios mío. El eglefino y la pasta eran muy ligeros y el pescado muy sabroso.Las fichas para morirse.Pero el caballero que lo dirige es tan agradable y le dijeConduce aquí. Es fabuloso.

Fuimos a visitar la playa de Bournemouth 07 / 07 / 2018 y en el camino de vuelta encontramos este pescado y patatas fritas. halal Tengo que decir que el pescado y patatas fritas era de primera categoría. Si visita el sur de Inglaterra, de nuevo, sin duda iría de nuevo. Se debe probar el pescado y patatas fritas. halalNo sólo la comida era perfecta, nos reunimos con el propietario (Habib) Un hombre encantador tunecino y muy agradable también.

Grabbed cod and haddock with chips for takeaway, everything freshly made to order. Would highly recommend the haddock! Very fresh and excellent batter. Halal too!

Servizio veloce perché ci sono tre casse, non c è posto all interno. Ci sono delle panche in legno all esterno dove capita di mangiare e fare conoscenza con altre persone . Le porzioni sono abbondanti: ho preso il regular ed ho faticato a finirlo. Buono ma decisamente troppo unto, viene considerato il migliore ma io ed altri abbiamo faticato a digerirlo.

Había leído las críticas y me cautivó para ver si esta fish and chips era realmente tan bueno como todo el mundo decía que era. No me decepcionó, el pescado y las patatas fritas eran deliciosos, especialmente la salsa de curry que me llevó de vuelta a mi infancia! El dueño es muy amable y simpático, y nada es demasiado problema. Toda la comida es fresco a la orden y no es grasienta o pasada. El tamaño de las porciones son increíbles y muy generoso. No puedo esperar a volver al lado de las vacaciones de verano!

Todo es fresco. Las patatas fritas están calentado o estamos fritos. El bateador es siempre claros y finos y no a gotear en grasa. La gran Braddock es grande! Los chicos que lo llevan son un verdadero montón amable. Yo vivo en el pescado y el amor Kinson y Chip Solla. Suh Joon-Shik

Había leído críticas al cliente y durante nuestro viaje familiar a Bournemouth pagamos una visita de familia a visitar esta solla europea y constituyen nuestro propio criterio. Nos sirvió el muy cualificado servicio Habib, unos completamente vestido caballero que uno no puede evitar pero al instante.

I was very pleased to find this Chippy was still there, I used to go here as a kid, over 30 years ago!! I just had to sample and I wasn't disappointed, the fish and chips were freshly cooked and good value.

I have been going to this chippie since it opened in Kinson. Lovely friendly people who run it. Always happy to see me and chat. Community, family,atmosphere in the shop. You can eat in or take away. The food is just so tasty and is always cooked really well. I am a vegetarian and I love the vegetarian spring rolls done in batter. I have also had veggie sausages and the burger. Pea fritters are also yummy. I won't go anywhere else now as I have never tasted chips so good. My Mum goes there too as she lives in Kinson as well. She has tried battered fish in other chippies before and was not keen as the batter was too thick, but she loves the food at The fish and chip plaice and as she is a pensioner she finds she has enough chips for 2 days even with the smaller pensioner size meal. They are just such nice people and deserve to do well as they work so hard.

My experience here was fantastic. The food was amazing, good portion sizes. This has got to be the best fish and chips I have had. The owners were brilliant and went out of there way to help. I would highly recommend everyone to visit when in Bournemouth.

Since my husband and I found this place bout 2 months ago, it had been our go to chippie every weekend. The chips are fresh and 'what-real-chips-should-taste-like'(??!!). Generous portions and the fish is a 'just-nice' balance of fish and crispy batter. ( if like me, you don't like thick gloopy batter you'll know what I mean)Also very impressed with the variety. My mother in law is coeliac so was very pleased there was a roast chicken option for her. I also love that they have battered calamari fritters! My husband loves the jumbo battered sausage. So defo a good place for family and on days when everyone wants different things.A must try would be the Pea Fritter! Crispy on the outside, soft and mushy on the inside - everyone we recommended it to loved them. (Dipped in curry sauce! yum yum yumm!)Although we have only done take-aways so far, it's nice to know there is a dine in option. Owners are really friendly and polite. Added Bonus : really clean toilets!

Found this place by chance one day and have been going back every week since. There is a wide selection of the usual food and other amazing including roast chicken. The fish is the biggest I have ever seen! More of a whale than a fish!The 2 guys who own the place are the kindest, friendliest, nicest people you could ever hope to meet. If you're in the Kinson, Bournemouth area... Go check it out!!!! You will not regret. Oh and if you're a Muslim like me, ALL THE FOOD IS HALAL!!!! So go and eat! :)

fish and chips at there best if you live wallisdown, east howe, west howe ,bearcross, kinsondont waste your time and money buying greasy cant tell if there is any fish in the batter, then this is the place to go buy a ex.large fish and taste real fish these guys our great cooks you can eat in or take away have a pot of tea . They are friendly value for money and our open till 9pm ,not till 8pm just up the road.They have been here a little while and have all ways got a great following,would l come back ,yes l do every week thanks lads well done.

We have visited this Fish & Chip restaurant and take away on several occasions and always had a very good meal each time. Very friendly staff and also value for money food. This restaurant and take away is situated near the traffic lights in Kinson, Bournemouth and has parking at rear of the premises which can be reached if coming from Northbourne and turning left at the traffic lights into Poole Lane and turning sharp left at the end of large building or turning right at the traffic lights if coming from Bear Cross. But don't take just my word for this why not try them for yourselves if you are in this area.
