Costa Coffee - Kinson in Bournemouth

Very pleasant experience and great service from the polite young lady today.

Bloody freezing in there not comfortable at all. Did sak the staff why it was so cold in there and she was hot!!!!

For a small Costa this is really good.

Yet again terribly slow service. Only two staff on a Saturday. Morning. Cakes massively over priced. Avoid!

Pretty good, friendly environment, but could the management consider closing at 5.30 or 6pm on a Saturday, 5, just seems a bit early, I know staff need time off, but it's worth it,

Order never arrived!!! But saying in app “enjoy your meal” it hasn’t arrived!!

Older blonde woman is rude and left around 6 people standing outside in the rain passed opening time

Ordered 3 iced frappé drinks and got 2 gingerbread hot coffees. How can you get order so wrong. Not the first time it's happened either.

Delivered to wrong address and only notified of delivery after an hour over the estimated delivery time. Absolutely horrendous service!

Didn't get any of the food I ordered and got a random drink I didn't order but at least the hot chocolate is good ✌️

cafe was filthy, staff were standing around chatting and raspberry and almond bake was stale

As someone who works in hospitality, give credit where credit is due, Izzy who served me at the till was lovely and very welcoming especially as it was busy and Aaliyah who made my drink was also very friendly and even complimented what i was wearing! lovely staff lovely drinks too!

I’d appreciate it if the time didn’t fluctuate as much.

Used to be one of my favourite places to go especially with the kids, staff used to be so friendly. My eldest took her first steps there, I had my gender reveal for my youngest there, I was a regular for years ..but recently the staff haven't been very friendly towards me and I now don't like going there at all. They don't always have vegan options and it's just not like it used to be. I much prefer Starbucks now as a family place to go, staff are much more warming and child friendly plus they have way more vegan drinks options. Sorry Costa you've lost a regular.

I went there with my elderly service user (I am a support worker). It was Sunday midday. Costa in Kinson was full of customers, very long queue. However, there were only two members of staff... Obviously I had to wait long for one drink and my service user got very impatient. What is going on Costa management? Two members of staff during a busy time?

1 hour 20 minutes BEFORE closing time on a Saturday and there was 2 members of staff-1 was serving who was ok but pushy to hurry you up, the other was (no offence meant) hugely overweight, full of spots, her tummy was hanging down and out of her untucked top and had 3 cigarettes in the 30 minutes we were there just outsidethe 2 opened doors, messing about with the other staff member & absolutely stinking out the coffee shop. Upon arrival we thought they were ALREADY closed because of this but they just wanted everyone out it seemed at 3.40 on a Saturday afternoon!!! This coffee shop used to be busy and welcoming abd now it's a dive!!

Orderd 2 large hot chocs, one bacon bap and one sausage, the lady that was seeing to.our order was very polite but then this very rude larger lady jumped in taking over with a real attitude in her voice, made us feel very uncomfortable, she then went on to tell us she would let us now when our food was ready, 5mins later she's shouting across the shop floor your food is ready, which seemed abit extreme as it wasn't busy as at a quite time of morning , but she felt important, when i went to collect our food I asked if I could have a couple of serviettes she replied no! You can have loo roll!! I replied no thank you and returned to my table,, It's a shame how one member of staff can make a place feel so unwelcoming

Relatively busy place, but there was always space to sit. The Team is friendly and professional.

Hi everyone, Today I am really disappointed with quality of service and latte I had Costa Kinson. I ordered for an extra hot drink. Was serviced lukewarm drink. It was in a glass with a spoon laid on the counter. For price I have paid it has been disappointing service and quality of the drink. Will think twice next time.

Service was really slow, it was about one o'clock and their food cabinet was nearly empty for lunch and we were told that was it. They burnt my panini but they were ignoring my friend who was at the counter waiting for our food and was discussing what to do as was the last tuna panini. So eventually they got the supervisor who came over and said they can do me a tomato and cheese instead so I had that but wasn't impressed with the service, I wasn't offered any form of compensation for burning my food or the wait. Won't go to the Kinson branch again. The furniture and decor was lovely though

I came in and had a really nice, maple, hazelnut latte. The service could have been friendlier. But the coffee was good and the place had a nice atmosphere.

Go in most days. The staff are friendly, helpful and make sure everything is right. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

The coffee never been delivered, could not get in touch with the driver

I had a horrible experience in costa just now , me and my other half ordered a mango bubble frappe and a salted caramel frappe with coffee but the mango bubble had hardly any bubble in it and was given a really thin straw to drink it! Then my salted caramel frappe with coffee was made the first round with coffee but no caramel and was more iced coffee than frappe so I asked could they make it again coz it had no caramel but they went there is in an aggressive tone but they will make it again but the second one ended up being a caramel frappe but no coffee! Then mum toastie was not cooked long enough and the chicken inside it was stone cold!!! I have found the service extremely bad today and I will not be coming back and I know it’s not that hard to do drinks orders as I work in the same line of work!

One of the drinks didn’t arrive. I ordered a salted caramel frappe and got a caramel latte can. I am not amused and want to be refunded for that drink please

Good friendly service , coffee made well.

The driver clearly dropped the order (literally) outside the wrong house and claimed the delivery was completed. First I new was checking the app to get an update “delivered” went looking and found the 3 drinks in the gutter opposite side of the road outside the wrong house

Nice coffee shop, the Costa coffee is not great and also served in ridiculously huge cups, coffee should be served in a small cup, otherwise it's ok.

We have been going to Costa Coffee in Kinson (Bournemouth) for a couple of months. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. My friends, my Husband and I meet for coffee ☕️ in there every other week. Sometimes more often!! I am lactose intolerant and the staff, all of them, always make sure every drink I have is totally lactose free. The only negative is that the only alternative to dairy is Soya, which I usually have, even at home. Would recommend to everyone 🙂

I passed by as I do it every day during my school run for my little girl,, It was my first time there even so I use to live just around the corner from there ,, It was only cause my daughter wanted some pastry and a take away coffe that I stopped across the road and went in ,, well I can’t comment on their coffe cause I didn’t have one in this branch,,but I know that their aren’t capable to make a good espresso anyway,, so I took an iced coffe in a can ,, well ,regarding the pastry it was at list a day old ,, at list ,, it was soggy and tasted just old ,, not fresh or crispy as a pastry really is when fresh .. I was very disappointed cause that was my little girl quick breakfast before starting school.. you should be ashamed of yourself,, with a name like that you should give customers something that makes want you comeback,,, but was just rubbish for a price,,,I think you’re in the wrong business

Usually busy but clean and friendly staff mean that you're not waiting long.

Nice store, it had nice comfortable chairs and we enjoyed our coffee but Costa overall I do feel the cakes are over priced or they should do a cheaper range

I got a hot chocolate to takeaway it tasted of hot milk you can hardly call it barista qualified when you can do it better then three of us had drinks made by the same person all tasting despresso made by Aaron. The coffee shop establishment is okay but I will probably not come to this one from now on as it feels like I'm pouring money down the drain.

I always like coming here after shopping. Coffee is always good and the staff are really nice.

Coffee is good but staff are rude and I have personally witnessed the manger bullying the younger members of staff. Myself and another have complained to Costa head office as these you young workers seem petrified of their boss but head office refuse to reply....disgusting!!!!!

A lovely cafe style Costa, with plenty of seating. It normally has a full selection of the usual items a costa has available. Only ever seems to be two staff working, but they work fast, are lovely and make great coffee.

Always a Busy Costa Shop, very attentative Staff, Highly Recommended.

As I live 5 minutes away from here this is my go to place for coffee etc. There salted caramel frappes are my favourite and the place is clean most of the time and the staff are really kind.

A very busy place great service it did seem quite noisy inside but think that's the way the building is. There is outside seating but on this particular day it was raining & there is no shelter outside

It's ok I think the staff do not give out the personal service all the interesting is in paid I feel that there's no loyalty in the business the place was untidy especially the tables I put it down as a staff or lack of staff did not have time to do the tables

I did not expect myself and my guests to be barked at in such a rude and demeaning manner after spending over £50 in total in your store today! Then the girl in question stood and laughed when We complained to member of staff about it. That attitude is NOT good customer service.

I ordered a cold drink with cream and no coffee. The drink came with no cream and tasted strongly off coffee. How hard is it? Drink got thrown away. Toastie was luke warm at best

Friendly staff, fab Mocha's ❤️, I do ask for extra hot as sometimes it can be like warm! Only complaint is that the closing times definitely DO NOT tally...usually closed by 5pm not 6pm which is what it says on website!!!
