There seems to be poor communication between the chef and waiting staff. After 30 mins of ordering we were informed that 3 of the meals were unailable. The steak was very fatty and over cooked. This was refunded. There is no ambience. There was background music when we first arrived but that stopped and then silence. The waiting staff are lovely. Overall it was a disappointing dining experience.

The Crown at Bashford, Bath Nestled in the charming surroundings of Bashford, The Crown is a welcoming and cozy pub that offers a delightful experience, even for a light visit. We stopped by for soft drinks and teas, accompanied by a selection of desserts, and were thoroughly impressed. Each sweet treat was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, showcasing a real attention to detail in both flavor and texture. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Although we didn’t explore the main menu this time, the quality of what we did have has certainly left us eager to return. If you’re in the area and looking for great service in a comfortable setting, The Crown at Bashford is well worth a visit.

What a shambles !!! Given menus when order being taken half of food run out - why the hell weren’t we told or taken off menu Sent steaks back as food cold then obviously had been put in microwave or back on grill as when brought back steak tough & well done - asked for medium rare !!!! These steaks were costing £ 30 😳 Then had to search four tables for salt all salt cellars empty As we were leaving I went to toilet to find excrement floating in bowl told bar man who said he’d pass information on !!! An Other table had sent meals back too Steaks were taken off bill but I felt really uncomfortable with complaining as general I’m pretty easy going believe it or not 🤪 The young Resturant staff were very sweet but obviously found it difficult to deal with complaints bless x Did tip waiting staff

We enjoyed a really lovely lunch here on Valentine’s Day. Excellent food in a very relaxed and friendly environment, we were served by Sasha who allowed us to linger and looked after us very attentively.

Truly awful food! I wouldn't of ordered this from Deliveroo if I had known this outlet was owned by Las Iguanas. Now Las Iguanas is very poor. But this was next level atrocious. The food arrived in a timely manner but it was so so bland. The buttermilk chicken burger had no seasoning or spices, no salt whatsoever. It was massively over cooked and underwhelming. There was a smudge of some random yellowish green sauce of unknown origin, this also had zero taste. The best quality and nicest tasting ingredient was the tomato! Save yourself some money and go to KFC (also pretty bad) instead. The worst meal I have ever had. This establishment deserves no trade.
