Booked a room for a birthday party today but got there and no booking on their records therefore no food to feed guests as a Sunday. This is the 2nd time that we have had an issue here. If you are going to book for an event here then you need to double check then check again. Fortunately we found another pub that could accommodate us all for dinner and hold my grandson’s birthday party.

Always a pleasure to be at Oakley Court. Faultless customer service, stunning setting and all round luxury treat. Would recommend a Baileys Coffee too!

Took the wife and my mother to this restaurant on Saturday and had a superb meal. I had the whole lobster, mum had the seabass and both were very good indeed. For what it's worth we always have the cheesecake to finish, which are simply the best around.

Absolutely gem of stop over pub for motorhome and delicious Indian dinner. The chef/ Landlord even came and chatted with all customers, staffs were good and quiet stopover night. The price for foods were good value for money comparing back home in Wales. We will be back. Thank you from both of us from West Wales. 🏴

I booked in advance, but there were tables available. So please do enquire if in Bray for the day. I had notified whilst booking it was my Birthday. Living alone, the person checking in my booking and lovely server both gave me greetings. That was special for me. I ordered the Potage of Veg. A soup created with a medley of ground vegetables with Turmeric. Perfect starter for me. I love my soup, especially with fantastic crusty bread. Next course was the Roast Beef, Yorky, Roast Potatoes, long stemmed broccoli and a side bowl of root vegetables. The gravy was certainly enough for me too. The beef had retained its fluid and fell apart with the knife. I had no fat on my plate when finished. It was rendered so well, it too burst with flavour as it melted in my mouth. The veg was served to the bite. Roast potatoes were done like I wish they were everywhere else. There is no salt and pepper on the table. You will not need them. The seasoning was perfect. The Servers were conscious of making sure all was to my satisfaction. I could also hear all the servers engaging in light conversations with all the other guests. It added to a warm atmosphere. Dogs are welcomed. I found they were well controlled and added a homely touch to the experience. I had always wanted to try fine dining, but in a relaxed setting. I decided this year for my birthday I would. I’m glad I picked The Crown. Well done to all.

AWFUL...AWFUL dissapointing from start to finish, no bread basket, apparently oven not working, sunday roast inedible sirloin, the main component inedible they applogised and returned with a second roast dinner, sirloin still inedible, spoiled our birthday celebration, no apology......apparently they have new staff which explains everything....

Six of us were celebrating our friend’s birthday and we had a great evening at Caldesi. Gianfranco came and walked the floor, talked to the guests, very charming and the food was beautifully prepared and really exceptionally good. But not fussed over. The waiting team were lovely, getting the balance between being attentive and friendly just right. The atmosphere and decor was warm, relaxed and welcoming, just perfect for a great night out with friends. Highly recommend.

I live locally and normally a business I avoid as it is owned by the fuel profiteering Issa brothers. However swung by for a take home coffee, no offer of chocolate powder on my cappuccino so had to DIY when I got home. Very sloppy compared to the well run Greggs in Maidenhead High Street
