The best restaurants in Witney East West Oxfordshire South East

Whilst this business is new and developing our dinner was a huge success. There were 19 of us and spirits were high. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We were waited on beautifully, no one was left without food or drink. There is a very high chance of a return visit. I believe they plan to decorate to give the place a bit more atmosphere which will be good. Nice to be treated so well.

Great food and a good atmosphere. Service a little slow but they clearly expect you to stay the full evening, and we did. Highly recommend

Good, tasty portions. However, we needed to ask for our meal to be reheated as it was lukewarm when served. After that, it was a delicious, home made like meal. I ordered chicken which was quite grilled outside but pink and red at places inside, so I just took that home and fried it. One of the men in there said nothing when we walked in, the other guy was friendly. One more thing to improve is the ventillation, it gets smokey, as there is an open kitchen.

I've been going to this delightful little takeaway ever since it first opened some 30 years ago. Consistently reliable, service with a smile and excellent Chinese food only a 5min walk from my home! Prices are very good too! It can get busy at certain times of day and orders taken by phone can take a little time, but walk-in orders are normally turned round pretty quickly. Cash only, but there's an ATM next door. The menu is quite comprehensive, but isn't available on-line.

We ordered lunch, sadly their fish cakes did not disclose cheese only discovered it when I cut into it. Initially chef seemed uninterested, they eventually sent a young member of staff gp who bought me a replacement for the fish cake and apologised. Did confirm they will indicate on the menu in fiputure.

Some reviews have slammed delivery and orders But in truth the food tastes clean, unlike other Chinese that taste very greasy and salty I’ve always had a good meal from this place Maybe they should just employ somebody who sits on the front desk who takes the orders properly and listens to the customer so that people don’t get mixups and forgotten items

Ordered pizza and coleslaw from Domino"s Witney. Use by date on the coleslaw is today. Phoned store and the flippant reply was "it's good until midnight." So I'm expected to eat a full tub of Coleslaw in 6 hours and pay full price for it? Poor customer service & satisfaction. Disappointed. @Dominos_UK
