New Peking Express in West Oxfordshire

I’ve had several takeaways from here recently and every time have been very satisfied with the good quality food and friendly efficient service! We’ll definitely go back for more tasty food.

Got ours to collect and we were really impressed by how fresh everything was, ready after only 30mins of ordering at peak time. Staff were polite, the space was clean. Decent range of options. Good value for money. The spring rolls especially were so light and crispy. Nothing was stodgy or too salty. Good mix of vegetables in the chow mein. One of the nicest Chinese takeaways we’ve had!

Can't get any order right. Sent wrong meals twice now, and last issue is no hoi sin sauce for half a duck with pancakes. Hugely disappointing. Won't be using again. 3 strikes and out.

I ordered my food on Saturday 3 September 2022 at around 10.30 on line said it was coming money was pending out of my band looked on my banking app. At 11..15pm still not got my food and it closes at 1q130pm so called no one picked up. Rang again still no food or anyone pick up phone at peking. Money come out of my bank on the Sunday. Friend email them so wend in when opened on Sunday and got money back. Said can get your food next day. Why would you want it next day that not right want it when hungry. Did not even give use anything for use going out of how way not right. I SAY STAY Away from they and tell Overy to had baileys at they do to before probably why no get your food and take your money. Keep away safer.

Tasty food, prepared fast (within 15-20 min for a big order), local for our household (5 min walk), so we can click + collect. It's the perfect option for when we feel like having take away! The staff are always very polite and helpful! Recommend!!

I went on and got 2x chicken balls and Singapore noddle The chicken ball were dry and tasteless And the Singapore noddle were just rubbish no spice at all and the noddle were cooked to death no favourite in any of it I WILL NOT BE RETURNING if any one wants a good Chinese got to the pecking chef in Carterton

Discovered this takeaway during 1st lock down and came to like it very much and have spent 100s here. 2 of the last 3 orders have taken so long they've been cold. Tonight was the final straw and will probably not use again. Ordered before opening and was given a 45 minute from opening delivery estimate. Rang 20 after that to be told it'd left. Rang 25 minutes later to be told it should be there, not much I can do. 5 minutes later cold chips, ribs and wings. We were looking so forward to this but that's the last chance.

This used to be the fastest take away in the west, sadly no longer, 15 minutes was about average, tonight I was told twenty minutes, it took 35, had the distinct impression that just eat etc orders were coming in and getting priority, however once it finally arrived it was not correct, I’d ordered egg fried rice with spring onions, what I got was plain boiled. In my opinion the standard of food is not as good as previously produced. Afraid I’ll have to go further afield in future.

I love chinese food and I haven’t had a bad chinese experience until I ordered from this chinese. It took nearly two hours for it to be delivered so as you would expect it was cold, it was also very soggy and they’d got my order completely wrong. I rang up an hour after I had ordered it to see where it was and the man that answered me was the rudest person I have ever spoke too, I had asked how long it would be until it was delivered and he didn’t even bother trying to help me but instead just replied with “ it’s with the drivers” then hung up. Overall I wouldn’t come back here and I don’t recommend it.

Even if you like onions, ask for no onions because meat and onions is all you get. Perhaps if you say no onions you might get a bit of veg

The New Peking has a massive menu and its certainly cheap. But my duck and bean sprouts was super ordinary - I won't be rushing back in a hurry.

This is our local Chinese. Food is as good value as you would find anywhere else in the area. Our favourites are salt and pepper chips, Singapore noodles and their chicken curry. Since the change in ownership they have re-decorated the reception area. We always take away, so I’m not sure what their delivery service is like. When we order food is always hot and delicious.

Had the set menu for four C2 very nice and varied.let us swop the honey and lemon ribs for bbq ribs. Plenty of food for four

Used this for the first time under the new management, and was very happy with the meal. It was well prepared and the staff were very helpful.

When the new owners took over we hoped the food and service would be as good but unfortunately it’s not. We decided to try them again last night for the 2nd time hoping our 1st experience was just teething issues from just taking over but unfortunately not. Food arrived in good time. We all ordered different meals from a much more limited menu. I ordered Kung Po Chicken. It was so bland with no flavours and mostly onion. The sauce was clear which I have never seen before from any Chinese takeaway before. My wife’s meal looked just like mine but should have been Chicken Cantonese Style. Again totally bland with no flavours. There were two other meals and they were very disappointing too. We won’t be ordering again.

Better food than the previous Chinese. Good service and food was a normal Chinese takeaway quality. Had standard food chow mien, crispy beef and egg fried rice. Smashed it all so was ok.

Chicken balls uncooked in the middle, was like biting into uncooked batter, I thought this was JPL peking express when I decided to stop at Madley park like the one in carterton so expected the same food ... terrible and inedible in the bin.
