Nice country pub, good food. Worth a visit.

Friendly staff, great menu, very tasty home cooked food. Nice environment, very clean toilets, good ale selection (try the crowd surfer, blond summery ale, very smooth).

Well presented cafe with good atmosphere; loved watching the world go by from the window. Great coffee and sweet treats. Really friendly and accommodating staff.

Friendly welcome and delicious cake before our tour of the Manor. Good value in a comfortable setting.

Booked party of 9 for lunch. Welcome very friendly and we were able to put together a big table in the absolutely delightful pub garden. Pimms all round to start was delicious. Menu a little limited, probably due to the focus on roasts. Starters were universally fabulous. Main courses good but my pork belly had flaccid crackling (meat was delicious) and the beef looked a little over cooked. Vegetables first class. Puddings all went down well with the children and adults. Overall a lovely spot that I would certainly go back to. A more varied menu would be good.

It started withe a table mix-up not handled very well but then matters improved. Menu's a bit limited and the lighting isn't great but otherwise perfectly OK.
