Friendly welcome and delicious cake before our tour of the Manor. Good value in a comfortable setting.

Offering light lunches and teas, the cafe is a useful part of a visit to Kelmscott Manor. Excellent on Summer days to take one's refreshment on the lawn outside.

We stopped at Kelmscott while walking the Thames path, and went into the house as soon as it opened, which meant we got to the tea room before they were officially serving lunch, but they bent over backwards to sort us out with a quiche and freshly-made salads.

We visited the Manor House on a beautiful summers day and were drawn to this lovely tearoom with inside and outside tables .There was a superb selection of home baking and sandwiches .We settled for a superb fruit scone and a latte before going back and selecting a moist and tasty Lardy cake . This was a busy wee tearoom and one that we will use again

We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.
