Service was very friendly and personalised. Staff were very inviting and chatty, making us as customers feel very comfortable. Staff even offered to bring the food to our car. The food was of great quality. Great products used. Not at all greasy. Food presented well. Will definitely return.

Lovely little cafe where staff are delightful.

Such friendly staff and a really delicious pizza. It was a pleasure to visit. Massila Bay is excellent value for money and offers a great menu choice. We love it.

Perfect cafe for a beachside breakfast and coffee. Lovely people who run this little gem. Try to get there early on a weekend, lots of tables already reserved.

We were having a few days away and decided to come to this pub primarily because it is dog friendly. We were warmly greeted and offered a table. We were served at our table which was nice more a restaurant feel. We choose the fish and chips and can honestly say it was delicious, the nicest fish I have ever had! All freshly cooked and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Big thank you to you all.

The place is so Quaint and the food is delicious. I just wish servers would listen to what the customers say I had water with lime in it and I already had it mixed in the line was squeeze to perfection and the server came back by and I and he asked me if I wanted more water and I said yes, for halfway to the top of this ice.Keep gave me a full glass of water, or nearly.It would not be a big deal, but the fact is, I explicitly asked for him to fill it halfway again.These servers, these days, they're just giving you what they want to have, they're not understanding in our paying attention, but they want to get a great tip fortunate for them. We tip well my boyfriend and I. But I am really getting aggravated with this. So overall, the meal was fine.It's just at these people do not listen.

Just returned back to our holiday home after trying this Indian. My daughter has an onion allergy and they were fab with it all. Her food was the best Indian ever had and the chef came out to speak to her which was a lovely touch. All our food was fantastic Wish we lived nearer thank you x

We were recommended to ho here. Unfortunately not worth the rave. Mentioned a nut allergy for one of the dinners and the waiter said they would take the nuts out. We were then told foods with nuts are in green on the menu. The menu was black and white. The menu had a great selection of choices but had none of the requisite symbols for allergies on it. Thought that was a legal requirement. Next came 'safe' food. The taste was bland. No seasoning. Not spicy and flavoursome. Salt and pepper added by ourselves at the table didn't help. Won't be going again due to not safe for anyone with an allergy. One of our party had nuts in their dish, when we had stated no nuts in any dish. We won't recommend this place to anyone. Dangerously bland.

Visited this traditional locals pub after finishing a walk. Friendly staff, good real ales and the roast chicken was nicely cooked. Will visit again when im in the area.

Fantastic all fresh free tea coffee with breakfast staff always polite and greeted with a smile . Will always tell you if there is a wait due to being popular

Walked in the off chance on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The staff were so helpful and friendly, accommodating us quickly. Food was great, beer good. Pub also dog friendly. Would recommend after a visit to Pevensey Castle
