Another stunning meal at St Leonard’s! I come here every time they change the menu and it just keeps getting better. The food is seasonal, beautifully presented, and tastes amazing. They also have a really good wine selection and elegant cocktails. I’d recommend the Bloody Mary or the chocolate and hazelnut martini (this is really nice for dessert too). 10/10, definitely recommend.

We had a special afternoon here before Christmas. We are keen cooks and we like to go out to restaurants to have food that we couldn’t create at home and have a proper experience. This was certainly it. Every dish was out of this world. We found it hard to rank them at the end. I’m sure we will speak about this meal in years to come!

Such a gorgeous place. We didn't eat but I'm sure the food will be as amazing as the staff, beers and garden. Blankets and heating in the garden,. superb!

We visited Franks today (25th of December ) and the experience was very poor . For £140 a head we expected far better but the food was very mediocre. Our starter of prawns was excellent but we were charged £8 for two small bread baskets. Really ? The main course was bland and luke warm . The Turkey was nice but the vegetables were embarrassing . They were barely cooked and tasteless . The pigs in blankets wet had to leave as the sausages were bordering on raw . I left a fair amount of mine as did my partner . Roast potatoes were hard and not particularly nice . Things didn’t improve with my desert of trifle which looked like it had been brought in from another supplier . Just average at best . To top it all off we were charged for coffees at another £4 a go . No nice touches of fizz on arrival and the crackers were cheap . I expected so much more but felt cheated when we received the bill. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was anything but . We didn’t even get a mint with coffee let alone petit fours . I won’t be rushing back any time soon . The staff were attentive and helpful which does need mentioning .

Food was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Great service. Definitely worth a visit. We will certainly go there again.

Best place to eat, meet and have a great time anytime of day or night

Went here for brunch. 2 young girls serving. Table cleaned with what looked like a dirty tea towel. Ordered our breakfasts. Daughter ordered an oat milk latte and it wasn’t a latte when it came out. Breakfasts had a funny taste. Lots of burnt bits, bacon so crisp and burnt not pleasant to eat. It seemed like they’d been cooked in a dirty pan. Egg overcooked, no runny yolk. It’s a shame as it was always good. Would have said something but the guy was taken outside by another customer who I think was also complaining.

Proper pub - no food, no chrome or smoked glass. Always had a warm welcome from staff and pub locals. Pool table and good juke box. Always enjoy a visit here. If you're after cocktails and gastro dining look elsewhere.

the bar staff are extremely rude and condescending for no reason, one of the drinks had limescale in the glass and we were refused a new glass while given awful attitude, wouldn’t come back

Boy oh boy if it isn’t time for a kebab, I sit back go on google, search kebabs near me. Mhmmm? If it isn’t a new kebab I haven’t tried yet? No kebab gets away from me. I instantly rush to west malling with my baby and we get an extremely charming man serving me. I was flustered by the menu. The prices were reasonable I guess, but I ordered my donner meat waited a very long 5 minuets. And tucked in on a bench near by, as a matter of fact my bird tilted her head back and tipped it in, it was spectacular. I will be returning and I will be letting you know who wrote this because I cannot contain my excitement. I encourage everyone to try this lustful kebab this instant because it is undeniable how good this food is.

Booked an early table, straight in and sat down. Staff pleasant throughout the evening and very helpful. We had a set menu for 4, really nice and delicious. My only complaint is…. We had to rush everything at the end as the next lot had come for our table.

Probably a lovely pub but the unnecessary music on a lovely afternoon in a lovely village is completely destroying the ambiance what are they thinking, if indeed they think !

Suggested by a friend. Lovely coffee and all day bacon sandwiches which were hearty. Mince pies must have been popular as only one was left . Will revisit for sure.
