Great place for a quiet family meal. We had the upstairs room to ourselves.

Great lunch choice and lovely atmosphere. The shacks are excellent, a really lovely way to have a celebratory lunch with your own choice of music and with privacy too!! Excellent food and cocktails and brilliant wine selection. Service superb and very helpful. Highly recommended

Really good for a local restaurant. We had a table for 5 and it was pretty amazing. My brother and my little sister had fish n' chips whereas me, my mum and our neighbour had pizza. It was very lovely. Even the dessert was lovely as well. Me and my brother had a chocolate brownie and it was lovely whereas the other 3 had a crumble, ice cream and sorbet. I want to go there again!!! This was awesome!! Well done to the team for the food!!!

The food was excellent and very delicious The service was a pleasure and advice was given regarding the food which was very helpful Sat in the restaurant side and the décor was very pleasant I would recommend it with a wide variety on the menu including lots of pizzas

We came in for lunch today (Monday) around midday, we were a little early so no one else seating yet. The service from Mirca was really great as was the menu and food. Portions were good and fair pricing, chips were a little over seasoned but still enjoyable.

There is a good range of food freshly cooked. Not just the freezer to microwave stuff you seem to get in so many places these days. Particularly like the fact that a lot of it is locally sourced. They were very busy and we hadn’t booked but they managed to squeeze us in . The staff are very friendly and you can share a joke with them so it is always a pleasure to come here

I very rarely have cause to write a negative review however this needs to be said so lessons can be learned. We were really looking forward to our Sunday lunch after a short walk but after being great with a smile we were shown into the dining room and our table for two but on walking into the room there was a great wall of heat greeting us, either the heating has been set far too high or the heat from the kitchen was going into the room and was not able to escape due to closed windows and door. I don't mind a warm room but this felt uncomfortable throughout our meal, there were others in the room that also seemed to be 'stripping' to cool down as well. We have absolutely no complaints about our service (perhaps we should have asked about getting the heating turned down) but when our meals came up, they looked delicious except that straight away my partner noticed that her meat was cold, so we sent it back to be warmed up again. My meat was also lukewarm but I accepted it, initially, so I had to start eating it while my partner waited for the return of her meal. I started eating and the vegetables which were plenty hot enough, especially with the hot gravy over them, then eat some turkey and a little beef, which were colder than I would have like but OK. However, when I unfurled the beef to take another cut I discovered that the beef was really, really undercooked! I like my beef medium rare or even rare but this was more than blue, it was totally uncooked apart from some of the edges. So, because I was concerned about uncooked meat on my plate, I had to send my food back just at the same time as my partners meal came back to her which meant that she had to eat her meal while I sat back to wait for my meal to return. It's such a shame that our meals were ruined by some very basic errors of: - Not ensuring that the dining room was a comfortable temperature (19 to 21 degrees rather than what I suspect to have been 26-27 degrees!) - Not ensuring that the food is hot before serving. - Not ensuring that the food is cooked sufficiently before serving.

I went in for a spot of lunch and a Merlot or two ; never disappointed , had a very good bbq pork ribs and an amoretto crème brûlée ( delicious served with a fresh strawberry) , their Merlot is always good ; smooth but not bland . Looked after very well by the lovely Abby and of course the chefs who you don’t often see . Another very enjoyable visit

Had a fabulous Sunday roast for a family birthday. The food was delicious and we were well looked after by Helen who was so kind and helped us with our food choices. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Laura served us today, spot on service. I had the scallops for starters and the roast beef for main course. The standard of the service and food was very good. I’ll definitely be back again.

Great Sunday lunch, the vegan lasagna is lovely. Husband had the roast beef and said it was the best roast (apart from mine of course) that he’d had in a long time. Laura served us and was very professional and great fun too.

Another fantastic experience dining at The Farmhouse today! Damien always looks after us so well and this time he exceeded himself by pre-emoting my order!! It was my partner’s birthday and he’s had a lovely lunch!! Special thanks also to Chef Anita for making the best steak ciabatta for me! A very full and happy couple here, thank you!

Visited today at lunchtime for the wife's birthday. We aren't really the sort of people who have what I would describe as "a meal" for lunch, a paying, baguette, sandwich, ploughman's and some chips to share is my definition of lunch. Having said that we shared a steak ciabatta and a couple of starters/small plates. What we had was excellent, not cheap for lunch (75quid for 2) but very nice. I guess they do very nicely serving "dinners" all day, my only criticism would be the lack of, what to me personally, is "lunch fayre". Oh yeah they're dog friendly too which is always great.

My recent meal there was poor. In particular the pork belly with bubble and squeak. Firstly the crackling was so hard to be inedible and worse the, so called, bubble and squeak consisted of virtually raw potato lumped together with a bit of veg. All three of my guests who had this agreed it was not up to standard. If I hadn’t been in a group I would certainly have sent it back.

We live the Farmhouse, we normally take my dog and he's made so welcome and gets such a fuss made of him, he loves it! Food is good and cocktails good too!

Came in for a Valentine’s Day and was served by Laura. The meal was delicious and Laura was attentive and cheerful throughout. She looked after us really well. A nice touch at the end was being given heart chocolates. All in all a lovely evening and would highly recommend, especially Laura.

Lovely evening for valentines with my partner! The service was fabulous and the food was delicious, I opted for the Cod and it was beautiful. The tables had been decorated for the theme and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Massive shout out to Laura who served us! A real asset to the team - thank you.

We were very impressed with the valentine's menu. The cod and prawns dishes were a favourite, spicy risotto balls surprisingly tasty. Laura and Holly were friendly, great service. It was busy but staff were on the ball. Valentines fizz a nice tipple.

Everyone was friendly, couldn't do enough to make tye visit good.

I didn't stay in rooms so can only comment on the bistro. The seating arrangements were snug . We got drinks quickly but food took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. The main courses were plentiful except the accompanying salad which was small. Both mains were tasty , hot and fresh. Didn't try puddings as too full. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large pay carpark behind bistro .

Not our first visit & certainly won’t be our last! Good atmosphere, best fish & chips for miles & friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. As good as any other Elite pub I have been to. I like the flexibility of the menu - you could have a snack and a coke or a full 3 course meal with wine and coffee! The Farmhouse has a cozy restaurant, more seating upstairs when it gets busy, a nice bar/pub area and lots of outdoor options for the summer. It’s consistently good and one of our favourite locals. GREAT espresso martinis!

The skewer chicken has to be one of my favourite meals, it is so tasty. I swop the pita in for more salad to be gluten free, and it’s beautiful. The portion size is generous and I just love it!

Very tasty food. We enjoyed a lovely vegan lasagne and Aberdeen Angus beef burger - both generous portions. Good wine list and nice to see 85+% of the food is sourced locally!

The main restaurant is very prettily decorated however its very cramped. Understand they want as many covers as possible. The service was very slow, waiting 15 mins to take a drinks order and we had to ask. Ordered the chicory salad which included maple squash. When it arrived which again was very slow it came with a dressing which I asked what was in in, the waitress just pointed to the menu and said its a cider vinaigrette however I wanted to know the ingredients. When they checked it was honey- the problem with this was that I asked for the vegan option and was given this. On top of this the squash is pre brought soaked in again honey and not the maple syrup as advertised (this informationwas given to me by the front of house employee). Serving honey to vegans - it made me question whether my starter was actually vegan as no one seem to understand the concept or take it seriously. Disappointed with service and understanding. Had a standard response as per email below however no contact - clearly they don't want to know more !

A surprisingly wide range of menu choices. The sea bass was very tasty and spoilt for choice on desserts. Nice atmosphere with a choice of dining areas . Damien our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We visit this pub quite a lot, either travelling home from a trip away or when meeting friends from Surrey at the halfway point , as we live in Faversham. It’s always a lovely, relaxing experience. The staff are great, the food and wine are good and it’s just has a really warm , casual atmosphere.

I was dragged into the Farm House kicking and screaming after a day out with a friend from work.  I saw the devilled liver on the menu and had to try it! It isnt often you see things like this on a menu outside of the 1970s so it was a brave move by the chef.   Well the liver turned up and oh my word it was worth choosing.  Absolutely perfectly cooked and so very tasty.  The toast was toasted to the perfect toastness.  The salad was so fresh I could still smell the cow.   This place is a lovely place to eat.   I had to find out the chefs names.  Anita, Marius and Robbie……well done to you all.
