Had the all day breakfast this morning, as we do.... Top quality all round, the sausages and bacon were delicious and the whole served quickly by friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Dropped in here for a couple of pints during a walk today - charming & attentive service from the very friendly lady behind the bar. The menu looked delicious, so will definitely be back.

Attended this hotel for a Murder Mystery evening, this was fantastic. Well organised, room where the event was had been decorated beautifully, good actors and whole evening went smoothly - highly recommend! I must say all staff at this hotel are so friendly, helpful and make the whole visit so easy and enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely weekend 🥂🎄

Poor customer service. Disrespectful staff. Hot chocolate drinks not very hot. Chai latte tasteless. Took latte back to staff. Explained the situation. Drink poured down sink without explanation. Expected refund as a result however none offered and when asked no comment or explanation from staff just a shoulder shrug. Do not recommend that you waste your money here.

We booked The George for a birthday brunch and highly recommend it. A lovely cosy village pub with friendly staff, good coffee and a great brunch menu with classics and less traditional options. We tried the smoked eel and will definitely be back for more!
