Been there many times in the past 25 years and the service and quality of the freshly made sandwiches and homemade cakes has never changed Its first class you’re never waiting long and the gardens are such a beautiful place to enjoy it. Would always thoroughly recommend it

Been to this lovely pub a good few times & it was lovely especially for Sunday lunch, unfortunately we returned recently & the meals weren't great & over priced. Deserts seemed like they were scratching for ingredients to make up what was listed & being pushed into purchasing drinks which was a red light. I really hope this was just a temporary setback.

After a 5 mile walk in the rain and with muddy boots, we were warmly welcomed into this lovely pub. They had a few good ales on the hand pump and the usual cider, lager and Guinness options too. The staff were friendly, the washroom facilities clean and fresh smelling and the food (I had liver and bacon) very good. The atmosphere in the bar was warm and inviting with comfortable seating around tables or armchairs if you didn’t need a meal. I’d certainly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

Absolutely fantastic lunch!! My husband is a vegan and had a gorgeous full Sunday roast with a buternut squash filo roll and all the trimmings. I'm a raw vegan and the chef made me an "off menu" delicious raw salad with no fuss at all. Fantastic service from entertaining and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back!!

My first trip to The Bottle House. First of many I suspect… Sunday roast was incredible, I had the Beef simply delicious 😀 It was my birthday, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly and attentive. Fantastic place, highly recommended! Thank you all so much.

OMG, we went to the Wheatsheaf as when we have gone past it always looks busy. We didn't know about the overflow car park to the rear. We recommend you book especially on Sundays. The lunch is priced very reasonably, the bar is well stocked with local ales & lagers. The staff are welcoming and attentive The food is excellent starter, mains & desert cooked to perfection

If I'm paying £2.50 for a can of coke, It would nice to be offered a glass and ice with it. Iced latte, in a mug - really? Sausage baguette, sausage and baguette - nothing else, no salad, no crisps. I don't mind expensive, But please offer something to justify the price. The staff were nice though.
