This was a convenient cafe to meet our friends and their dog before visiting Polesden Lacey which is only a short distance away. It was chosen as it was dog friendly and there is short term free parking here. We all had a hot drink and a cake. It was very ordinary and nothing to write home about, but it served its purpose We did not stay long as we wanted to get to Polesden Lacey as soon as possible. There were a few other customers who seemed to know each other.

Popped into the coffee shop to pick up a latte while waiting for my family to arrive. The coffee shop is the first building you find when walking from the car park with the toilets opposite. It has seating if you want to sit inside and drink/eat or a takeaway service. The lady in front of my placed a large varied order and I thought I may have to wait some time for my drink but the staff rattled through the order and my latte was with me in no time at all. Great little pit stop.

After changing many landlords, trying to be a posh restaurant, a pizzeria, a sports bar and just the village pub-which is what this establishment was most successful at (in particular during lockdown it provided a welcome chilling opportunity with its large beer garden and kids area) ⦠this longstanding local pub has closed down. Bookham locals will miss its familiar band nights and outdoor summer time drinking

Attached to the Vineries Garden Centre. We visited this coffee shop, which overall in our opinion was below par. Uncomfortable seating and a very basic layout. The service was robotic. Coffee was OK but the cakes were poor and vastly overpriced.Overall it did not float our boat.We wished we had given it a miss
