Iāve travelled the world, lived in Italy, and eaten pasta in places where they really know how to do it ā but never in my life have I come across anything as disappointing as the āSpaghetti with King Prawns and Porkā from this place. Letās start with the so-called king prawns ā calling them that is a joke. They were clearly the cheapest frozen prawns you can buy, rubbery and tasteless. And then mixing pork with pasta and prawns? Thatās not just a bad culinary idea, itās borderline offensive. Pork with seafood in pasta is a combo that doesnāt work ā for the taste buds or the stomach. Itās the kind of pairing that can leave you with serious abdominal discomfort. And to top it off, this bizarre creation is the most expensive item on their special menu? Almost Ā£30 for something I wouldnāt even give to a dog. Honestly, I expected much better. This dish is a disaster ā avoid at all costs.

We had prawn biriyani and lamb curry recommendation by the staff, mild spicy so that our baby can also eat with us. Ordered fries on the side with garlic naan and a paratha. They served a vegetable curry on the side on their own accord. The meal was absolutely delicious, just not enough for the heart to get full. Staff were very polite and sweet. Got a total bill of approx 50Ā£ and were served chocolate (mint) with it along with hot wipes. Fantastic for desi food. Highly recommended!

My Mother and Father , Dorotht and Bryan Catt used to own The Ventnor Towers Hotel back when I was a little girl. I used to play in it in the off season when there were no visitors. It was and always will be my Fairy tale Castile. My parents built the house next door and the swimming pool. My sisters used to play tennis and the croquet and golf course was always in use . My Father was a very talented man musically so there was a lot of wonderful cabarets full of dancing and singing , and I remember my sisters wedding day when she had the dinning room full of family and friends. Mummy also made everything wonderful with her many talents, one being making the bar downstairs look like a Thatched cottage. I miss those days of dreaming wish I could go back , wish it was mine again.

Nice spot, lovely staff but!! Building in need of updating, and the food is of very low quality, and overpriced, also waited a long time and then part of the order we placed was not ordered by the staff member taking orders! This is a historic venue but sadly it was probably at its best in 1965 š¢
