The best restaurants in Shalford Guildford South East

All the single ladies (bit of Beyonce there 🤣🤣), well, 5 of us from @binscombechurch, met for a fantastic Thai meal 😋 and sat outside on an available wooden table & benches to eat & chat. Food was freshly cooked and tasted great 👍. Having been well fed & fortified, we then took the long way home - walking 4.6miles through the lovely local woods and via the edge of the Loseley Estate. Friendly Team & great food 😋 👌 👍

Good food, friendly atmosphere. The only thing, when we went we thought the restaurant was open daily but it isn't and only does breakfast fri/sat.

When I visited Watt's Gallery Tea Shop recently, I was surprised to find that 10% was automatically added to my bill. I visited with my 93 year old mother and we ordered an Americano with cream + a Cappuccino with no chocolate. There was a 50p levy for the cream (my mother uses a very small amount), and the bill came to £9.02. I think this is really quite expensive for two cups of coffee.

Expensive for what it is. Could have easily made a few improvements with little extra effort. For example the pate was served with what appeared to be cheap white sliced bread, the salad was not dressed . At these prices it is not unreasonable to expect more

A wonderful Roast at the Queen Vic followed by a great band (Rockin' Rogers). Finally a proper roast, delicious beef with all the trimmings, well done Chef! This pub offers the perfect balance - lovely staff, great clientele, superb food. A must try.

Really nice late solo lunch after a final work meeting in the morning. Had been recommended this venue by four of the very nice staff at The Grantley Arms, the evening before. Starter of Mushrooms was delicious and outstanding. Plant Burger main was very good. Excellent service throughout by highly fastidious young member of staff, Darwin. A very good lunch.
