The best restaurants in Meads Eastbourne South East

I used to come here 50+ years ago when it was a steak house... prawn cocktail, steak n chips, then Black Forest Gateau for about £2.50!. My oldest sister had her wedding reception in the upstair function room!!! Now a lovely pub / gastro pub. Good real ale selection. Had to have Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter. Madge had a local wine, only £11 a glass. Casta should take her home to Spain.

the delivery was fine, unfortunately the salad was poor quality, lettice was brown a willted and they forgot sauce in burger and chicken was dry.

driver didn't know address phoned me twice for directions wen sat nav shows clearly where my address is was also rude won't be using kfc again

With out a doubt the best pizza ever. Love these guys. Always fabulous.all ways nice always polite and the best thing enjoy and I always do. Look after them there the best.lov ya

NEVER EVER EAT AT PIRI PIRI CHICKEN EASTBOURNE, it is the worst and most revolting food we have ever eaten. Threw it in the bin. Staff rude, service appalling. Stay away

Fui aquí por primera vez recientemente y tengo que decir que no tengo motivos para volver. El servicio era terriblemente lento, las bebidas exorbitantes, pegado al bar asqueroso, mesas no despejadas, personal antipático y aseos eran desagradables. A pesar de esto, el lugar siempre está lleno los fines de semana, así que supongo que estoy solo, ¡pero mucho mejor en otro lado!

This was a horrible experience. As soon as we walked in a man who worked there was sitting at the table and barked at us saying how can i help you. We then went into order and he started yelling asking us what we wanted in a very rude manner. We ended up walking out because he was so rude. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant. I would never normally leave a review like this, but i think it’s important for some accountability in this situation. It was may 20 around 6:30pm.

Good friendly staff and fast service the food was excellent Especially recommend the grilled chicken burger and the steak salad

I paid for my meal on arrival at 9pm £19 which you have to pay before you get to get up and serve yourself. I was told prior to that you can order a takeaway box on too good to go... but to be honest after seeing what they had to offer half empty trays and everything else was dried out. should have actually been binned and I should have asked for a refund like the other 2 people did while I was there. Not too sure how long the food had been there and the temperature of the food wasn't hot. The lady server did stir stuff around a bit to cover up the dried layers on the sauces. I had one small plates worth and just left.. definitely wouldn't recommend eating there at this time of night. You get a much better deal for your money during the day time for nearly half the price

Having visited once before and enjoyed the food, we thought we'd come again. However this was a real let down. We waited almost an hour for food, and once it arrived my order was incorrect. I did try and mention it to the server, but she had gone before I could do so - and to be honest I wouldn't have wanted to wait another hour for them to replace the meal, so I just stuck with it. The food was nice enough but the chips were lukewarm. We had to ask three times for a knife and were bizarrely given a pizza cutter that was still in the packaging. We also had to ask three times for a takeaway box at the end. It's a real shame to be leaving this review as I don't like leaving negative reviews, but there is clearly a significant management issue here. Unless this is resolved I am unlikely to revisit.

Ordered food from them on just eat, and never received our food,on the app it said it had been delivered, im trying to get a refund but I won't hold my breath.
