Subway in Eastbourne

This was a horrible experience. As soon as we walked in a man who worked there was sitting at the table and barked at us saying how can i help you. We then went into order and he started yelling asking us what we wanted in a very rude manner. We ended up walking out because he was so rude. I have never been treated this way in a restaurant. I would never normally leave a review like this, but i think it’s important for some accountability in this situation. It was may 20 around 6:30pm.

Not as good as other subways,this didn't seem as clean so I wouldn't choose to use it again. It smelt weird but staff member pleasant

I ordered 2 steak footlong subs and its more like a salad sub. Ordered through deliveroo. I rang up subway to speak to manager and he told me he made it and its standard. I've eaten about 100 steak subs in my life and THIS is NOT standard LOL. 1/10 subway terribly made. The manager needs retraining.

Bought a subway at 8 pm Saturday night never again. Staff rude, uninterested in taking the order. Had to repeat fillings three times before he understood. Never offered the special meal deal that was being advertised on the radio. Seemed very reluctant to serve, rather chat to his friends. Very skimpy on fillings. During the day this is a decent Subway.

Food was stale, hard bread. Hardly any sauce, minimum ingredients. For the money it cost complete rip off. Will not order again

I went there today and it looked very dirty. 3 people working, no one is wearing a mask or changing gloves. The person making my sandwich made me repeat myself mutiple times. Me and my boyfriend felt like if anywhere would give us coronavirus it would be this place. I should have walked out but i paid £11 anyways just to throw the sandwiches out! Waste! Avoid! Their uniforms also looked very dirty like they havent washed it in a very long time.

I ordered a 6-inch and it was ok . I needed the toilet and it was the most discusting toilet I have ever seen. Pee all over the seat and on the floor, toilet roll everywhere. No soap to wash my hands! I don't like writing bad reviews but this was terrible.

I'm not the type to right bad reviews (especially over poached eggs! Lol) but honesty, I've given up hope with this site. Today, I came in asking if they had any poached eggs available for a tuna nicoise salad (as they hardly ever have any ready) the staff member quickly said 'no sorry, i can't make that as it's a breakfast item' I pointed at the menu saying it's on the standard menu and it's on the 'extras' board. Her reply is that she has been told by management that anything involving poached eggs are classed as a breakfast item! Who knew?! Learn something new everyday lol I will say that I don't think it's the staff members problem. As she's only doing what she's told to do. Many times I've come in and they either started close really early, don't have enough ingredients or the tables and toliet are trashed. I'm quite a patient person and brush it off as they're busy but it's too much of a pattern that's on going and I think this issue topped it! I see other reviews on here are having similar issues and nothing is changing. My best advice to anyone wanting a subway in Eastbourne, go to the site at the station! They always have everything available... Including poached eggs!

Just been in to subway they have lots of new wraps and breads in oh but if you want you won't get ran out of nearly everything. How un organised can you be in a school holiday. Staff very in helpful rude laughing and joking about customers I found them very rude. We certainly won't be going back and will make sure my friends and family won't visit there again too.

This is not the station branch, but near shoezone and Marks and Spencer, Eastbourne town. Its a fairly narrow branch. Clean look, but food not too good. Ordered two 6 inch subs, one tuna, the other chicken tikka, bread not properly warmed, completely fell apart and bland, fillings did not look fresh either. Will not return.

Not the best place to eat by any stretch of the imagination but it does the job when you want a quick food than not normal packaged sandwich. This one in the train station it must be said is so much better than the one in the town center. Ordered delivery form there and waited over 2 hours to get a soggy sandwich

Order hash browns, they were soggy and full of oil absolutely vile. Clearly cooked hours ago Will never go back

I stopped at subway after a late shift at work. I’d been dreaming of the chicken ceaser wrap all day. We got there at 10pm and literally as we got to the door the girl locked the door. She saw me and my obvious crest fallen face, so she unlocked and let me in. Her comment was one more won’t hurt, come in. Everything had been packed away and I felt bad as I know what it’s like at the end of a long day you just want to go home. She told me not to worry and happily went about making my wrap. Which was really tasty and very large, I think it’s great value for money. The young man working with her was also very friendly and didn’t mind that I was also keeping him behind. People are quick to complain and I just wanted to say I really appreciated what they did. Subway if you read this the two staff working on the evening of the 29/08/18 are are credit to your company and I just wanted to say thank you.

Never had a subway before and probably wont again to be honest. overpriced 6 inch roll with bland chicken tika and minimal salad . would make a better one at home and will probalbly do so Having said that my nephew really loves them and has vowed to convert me . I will therefore give it another go

Dropped in to get some lunch with my wife and 2 babies. Place seemed clean and tidy enough it is a small subway so tricky with a buggy. Food order was fine,didn't have to wait long...gets busy due to location.

Been in here a few times, disappointed that they no longer do £3 sub + drink deal. They used to, and it's now significantly more expensive

Este metro está dentro de la estación de tren de Eastbourne, y está lleno. Sin embargo, sólo había una persona trabajando! Nos tomó unos 15 minutos para conseguir la comida y estuvimos primero en línea. En el momento en que la izquierda, probablemente había 10 personas en línea!

Mi madre y yo llegamos a la estación temprano para conseguir un metro antes cogimos el tren. El servicio fue rápido y la subs eran preciosas. Los llevamos en el tren con nosotros, así que pudimos comer en nuestro largo viaje. El personal era agradable y incluso nos las arreglamos para sentarse y tomar una copa antes de irnos en el tren.

Fuimos por primera vez. El personal era servicial en extremo. Nos dijo que era nuestra primera vez aquí pero no parecían comprender que - ninguno hablaba muy buen inglés y era muy servicial.

Standard Subway, some seating with overflow onto the station concourse. Staff are friendly. Don't accept American Express credit cards.

These guys really take the time to make sure you get what you want, i was asked what type of cheese i wanted rather than the standard boring cheese the other subways dump on the sub, the service was fab from beginning to end and the restaurant altho busy was kept clean throughout our visit despite their being no bins to put our rubbish, in the staff are quick to offer to take the tray off you. Great works guys!

Better than most subways - staff are friendly - considerably hygienic and well maintained. Recommended for a quick and easy lunch

Este es un restaurante cutre; la comida era barata, las ensaladas eran frescos, comida no es nada especial, es rápido, conveniente, comida a pedido, que llenó un agujero, nada más. Noté que uno de sus clientes que se ayudó a algunas botellas de bebidas de la nevera sin pagar por ella, pero el personal no nos molestó cuando nos indicó.

El chico que me sirvió, Michael era fabuloso. Él estaba en su propio que sirve y era capaz de manejar 3 de nosotros a la vez tareas multi millonaria oficial pero también muy amable y me hizo sentir valorados como un cliente así como eficientes. Como es una estación de tren, me encantó el 'en una punta' pregunta, ya que me le preocupaba mi tiempo y se han ajustado más rápido si es necesario. ¡Qué gran toque. En general muy satisfecho con mi servicio gracias!!

Popped in there or lunch on Saturday, everything you'd expect to be honest. The roll was prepared quickly by friendly efficient staff. Very nice, Thank You.

Don't even think about trying to order more than one subway at a time. Going out to get one each for my family proved to be an absolute nightmare. The incompetent staff will confuse and ruin everything guaranteed. Not the first time this has happened and I just generally hate this subway. It's such a substandard, unorganized restaurant I actually can't get my head around how bad it is sometimes.

Does what it says on the advert. The friendly & helpful staff will not only make up the rolls on the menu board but will make up any variation of rolls you can think of. It is a clean & busy establishment but you move through quite quickly & I use it on a regular basis.

Have had a couple of subways and this one in Eastbourne no different. I don't like the doughy bread or any of the fillings. They cram so much into the buns its difficult to know what you originally ordered. I don't like the smell of the place or the taste of this food. The restaurant here looked clean and presentable and the staff here always seem to be busy mopping floors and tables until late but alas not too friendly. The cookies are nice and very similar to Millies Cookies with lots of different flavours to try. Subway open very early in the morning so was a godsend whilst staying in Winchester when my boyfriend and I needed the loo!

I am not first time in the Subway ,because my favourite is a Spicy Italian with herb and cheese six Inch sandwich .Very good Customers services,service ,but sometimes is taking to long serve the customers. Only one concerns, when you ask ,I would like more Onions ,they not really want to satisfy our wish. But I have to say ,Subway is a very taste fast food still ,and recommend to everyone ,who's really don't have time to eat or cooking ,please go there try they menu , fantastic taste and quality fast food,

Just collected a quick bite for a takeaway lunch. Service is fast and efficient. Counter looked a bit messy but seemed to be clean.

The food was up to it's usual good standard and the pulled pork filling was absolutely delicious. However I was tired from shopping and the only seats were inside and this was not a pleasant experience.The chairs and tables are far too close togethor, my legs were constantly being knocked by people trying to bring luggage through.I would recommend sitting outside in the station forecourt if you can

Excellent place to stop for a quick bite, the tandoori chicken in a roll was just what I needed to keep me on the move until dinner at the hotel in the evening.

Subway is a great take way before hitting my train I take now and then for lunch. Its in the Eastbourne train station, and of course as all subways you do choose your own. It's a build it your self food which is nice to do so. The food choice is good and the customer serve is also polite and nice. All at great prices!ENJOY!

Always a good choice of things to eat and meal deals. Food is good quality and service is efficient and courteous.
