Park Express Grill in Eastbourne

We ordered food about 6:45pm. We had the time given 7:40-8:00 for our food arrival, this time had come around and we had no food, I checked the app, and it had notified me my food was already delivered and enjoy! I rang the restaurant to ask where my order is? They apologise and say 20 minutes. I say that is ok and wait. We are then left waiting until 8:50pm for our food. When the food comes it is freezing cold, they chucked us two free can of drink but this was not what I needed after work.

Hour and a half later. Not good when you have a hungry, autistic child!!!

Ordered at 7.26pm, est delivery 8.25 - 8.45pm, Arrived 9.26pm (2 hours after order)

The delivery hadnt arrived on time so I called up and was told it would be within 15 minutes and we had to call up again 30 minutes later. By the time it arrived it had been 2 hours since ordering

order was over an hour late and with no update from the restaurant. I tried to call the restaurant and it went it voicemail.

All food inedible tasted of chemicals

Delivery was later than stated, delivery driver was very apologetic. The quality of the food was excellent. Mixed meat kebab is excellent. Food portion sizes are very good

The late delivery wasn’t a problem but the app said the delivery had been made and as such the code had gone, I think the courier had signed it off as delivered to cover that he was late?

Food arrived hot. Can of soft drink was missing. Few minutes later, delivery man returned with it. Excellent customer service. Have to say chilli sauce is very good.

Awful kebab awful chips awful burger. So much mayo it was ridiculous and food was not nice at all

This is always my go to takeaway and never had any issues until today 05/09/2024. Placed order through their app absolutely fine. Order turned 25 minutes later, perfect. Only to realise this wasn't my order. Rang them, they apologised and would redo my order within 20 minutes, great. Order turned up, well some of what I'd ordered. No fruit shoot for my little one, no cheesy chips. Cannot be bothered with calling again and I feel really guilty posting this as they're all so nice and accommodating in there. However food is a massive family affair in this house and takeaways are a rare treat, so it cannot go unnoticed.

Food was late but that didn't bother me. Sadly, the kebab was inedible as it was SMOTHERED in chilli sauce, which I did ask for , but the kebab was completely soaked, could not eat it.

Order turned up nearly 1 hour late. But it did taste good.

My mistake i thought i ordered delivery but they sorted that,and i got my order ok. Enjoyed my kebab, and the delivery was quick. Would recommend this place highly.

Whilst the chicken wings were great, the rest of the food was average. Order took 1hr 20 mins to be delivered and we had to ring multiple times to chase up where it was. The online order said it was out for delivery but in fact, it hadn’t left the restaurant.

I what my money back was no option for salad when i order my meal it was horrible with out it

Foods good but the staff are the moodiest, most rude people I have ever come across. First time I visited I assumed they were having a bad day but after the 3rd visit I realised its just how they are. You've lost my custom as I'd rather spend my money on a local business that actually appreciates the business. Shame really as the food is fairly decent.

food was okay, bit too much sauce for my taste. Restaurant didn't update progress of order and driver apparently pressed the delivered button as they left the restaurant. Almost believable apart from the fact that it took 20 minutes after the fact to complete the 5 minute drive between the restaurant and my home.

Delivery time was long (1.5 hours from order), but food was excellent. Lots of salad included and the meat was cooked very nicely. Will order again.

Awful delivery service. Ordered well about 2 hours ago and called them for an update to be told it’s on the way but can’t tell me how long. Do not order if you want to eat that day. Order a few days in advance and they might MIGHT get it to you at some point

Ordered from here last night… we had a large order so about 8 of us.. come to a shocking £70 which is absolutely fine if the food was good… never ever will I order from here again the chips tasted stale the meat wraps tasted like charcoal none of us could eat it.. I didn’t even give the left overs to my dog! Absolutely vile food, freezing cold, not fresh, massively over priced for what’s being served up! Will never ever go here again

Eaten here 5 times. Been sick 4 times. Luke warm food or lack of hygiene. Staff take ages between chatting to themselves in their native language before acknowledging you or processing your order. 3 kebab shops in Hampden Park and this is joint last along with Hampden Park Grill! 19.08.23 Tried to order cheesy chips ... was asked for £5.50!!! .. I have the money, but I have higher principles than this!!

Owner tried to tell me what I ordered when I rang back to complain to make it up to delivery price as I was trying to increase. Every price was increased so he could offer a fake discount. Then he took unbridgeable at my complaint he hadn’t delivered what u asked for. Website ordering was down” please call for your 20% discount” Yet another scam kebab operator in this area. AVOID food was also terrible.

I was waiting near the train lights and the guy come in from outside and did not wash he’s hands then touched the Meat then Touch to cook meat then they did not wash there hands it is not Unhygienic this place should be shut down

Food not great and service not good made an order the guy advised 20 - 25 mins and when I arrived 20 mins after placing order he hadn't even began cooking my order I've got a new born so this wasn't ideal for me

We been ordering from here for years. What a let down. Food took 2 hoiurs to deliver. And food was stone cold. Phoned up and complained and just got abuse. Never again. Beware these guys are useless. Never again. Not as advertised on their Web site I will be claiming

I got food poisoning from this place, definitely wouldn’t recommend. The salad also came in enough water to fill a small glass to the top for whatever reason and their chilli sauce is more like a paste than an actual sauce. I knew I should’ve put the fork down after feeling a bit weird after the first few bites but I was hungry and it was late so I ate it anyway, really wish I didn’t now. Beyond bad.

Ordered food on uber eats and was told food would be between 7.30pm and 7.50pm. Called them at 8pm and was told 10 mins. Called them again at 8.50pm and again was told 10 mins. Food eventually arrived at 9.15pm !!!!!! If i was told it was going to be a 2 and half hour wait i wouldn't have bothered. The food definately was NOT worth the wait. Appalling service !!!!!!

Nice burger not to bad the chips were not fried the were soggy and heated not very nice food. Will not be coming back!

Well, I wish I had read the reviews FIRST. This evening I ordered Vine leaves, potato Wedges, side salad and a Lamb Kebab and salad. I had a call to say they had no Vine leaves which was disappointing but they gave me other options so I had the Falafel instead so that was alright. The side orders were fine (although salad could be more interesting than just mostly onion and lettuce.) However, when I opened my Kebab feeling very hungry, I saw what looked like a half eaten (at best, very sparse) Lamb Kebab and it put me off! I tried to phone the Delivery man but I couldn't hear as there was a noise when I spoke. I phoned the restaurant and the man who answered was abrupt saying they were VERY busy rather listening to me and my concern, hunger and that my dinner was ruined. He said nothing could be done as I asserted myself. He said he would speak to their Manager and took my phone number. I found their email address and emailed the photo as I don't have a Smartphone. I rang back a while later and I was told there was no one else and no Manager and I was told by an angry man they were busy (I was waiting to be hung up on and sure enough, I was hung up on!) This is NOT THE FIRST TIME this has happened and I am sick of being lied to. I was left hungry and wasted money! This has to STOP I am waiting for a refund from Just Eat.

I love the salad here, always fresh. Kebabs are good size, nice lamb and the donner is not to gristly. Mixed donner always favours the lamb though. Not so equal. Make sure you order at peak times as it won't be like toe nails.

Just visited this place, as not local. Good food, well presented and tasty. Fresh salad and chips didn’t sweat on way to friends house. Would visit again.

Started to get take aways from here after my normal place and a huge price hike on their menu. So happy I changed. The on line service is easy and quick. Food is great

Foods good, delivery time is terrible..

Park Express staff friendly and give great service, best burgers in town cooked over coals giving a great bbq flavour fresh salad used and choice of sauces, you know its a great one when the bun is toasted! Chips fried good, plenty of cheese put on top if required!

Really sad to give this low review as usually the food here is good. However we ordered at 7.50pm by phone, waited until 9pm when we called to find out where our order was. The guy on the phone said the order had left 15 minutes ago so should arrive any minute. The food arrived 10 minutes later - obviously it hasn't left 15 mins before. Anyway, when we opened it, the order was wrong so we called Park Express and were treated to a row between the shop and the driver on loud speaker. The driver arrived back again a few minutes later. He asked us for the bag the food arrived in so he could put the wrong order in our bag, but sadly we'd ripped it. I asked if that food was going to someone else because why else would you need the bag back? He said no, and I hope to God he was telling the truth because one of the pittas fell on the floor outside our house! To add insult to injury, the food was cold, the chicken kebab had no flavour and nor did the popcorn chicken. It might have been ok with the dio but they forgot that too!

Really great food!! Had burgers a couple of weeks ago which were delicious. Had the chicken kebabs tonight and just as good. Food arrived on time and hot, excellent service and food, so will definitely order again soon ..
