The best restaurants in Meads Eastbourne South East

I have recently decided to try Veganism but like most Vegans I don't like to talk about it ;-) Looking for Vegan food of high quality in Eastbourne, is fairly difficult. A few restaurants offer "vegan options" but that usually means taking the ham or chicken out of something and hoping that will do. Not acceptable these days. So we tried Green Bros. It's hidden away from the centre of town but not really that far, behind the Grand Hotel. The guys here are very passionate about their food and also friendly and knowledgeable. They will even tell you how they make things if they have time. The food was great and the wine, reasonable. If you are unsure about the Vegan thing...have the Doner Kebab. It's epic! (And fully Vegan...tell everyone!)

We visited with friends and can honestly say the whole experience was phenomenal. The service is exceptional and the food was out of this world. They were so accommodating when I asked for my dish to be slightly different to the menu. An absolute gem and well worth the money.

We arrived at the restaurant with friends quite late as we’d been to the theatre. We did not at any point feel rushed, the food was superb and the decor and extra touches were amazing. Highly recommend

Omg a real jewel! Fantastic atmosphere and the food will make you want to sing. I love it that the menu changes, so next time you go there, they may have something new and different

Just finished a really lovely lunch! Searched for ‘best sandwich’s in Eastbourne and this place was the top result and I now understand why! I had a BROOKLYN BRUNCH toasted sandwich which has Scrambled Eggs, Crispy Bacon & Cheese. It was lovely!! If we hadn’t already decided that we were going to have ice cream for afters, we’d have definitely had some of the cakes which truly look stunning!! Have a feeling this will be a regular place for us to come now!

Amazing Dine in experience. Lovely coffees. Perfect for a breakfast and or lunch with the Egg & toast / bagel options. Person behind counter was amazingly kind and friendly. Perfect hidden Gem!

I was organising a Church farewell party and Lincoln's prepared 180 rounds of sandwiches for me. Four different flavours. In addition some GF and vegan, too. They did a superb job. Everything was top notch and the sandwiches were as fresh as fresh can be. The party was on a Sunday, on which day Lincoln's do not open. However, they arranged to make them specially on the day and for us to collect them at a pre-arranged time. Thank you Lincoln's - you did us proud ! I'd certainly use your services again.

Popped in here after long walk on the seafront, had the wings OhSoTasty!!! Washed down with Ice cold Peroni. Gr8 service and what a view... even saw 2 swimmers braving the sea!!! Only complaint no Coronas.

Estuvimos aquí para San Valentín para ver a Rita Bix, la drag queen, lucirse con sus cosas, ¡fue una noche tan fabulosa y divertida! ¡Claveles rojos a la llegada! Toque encantador! No hay lugar como este en ningún otro lugar de Eastbourne, realmente es único en lo que se refiere a lo que hace, porque no solo es un café / deli durante el día, sino que alberga clubes de lectura, entre muchas otras cosas. También vende todo tipo de golosinas para tu amigo canino, desde comida cruda para perros hasta accesorios y juguetes, ¡es simplemente fantástico! Llamado para almuerzo y merienda. Hermosos sándwiches y pasteles caseros. Es una pena que no se abren los lunes y martes's. Puede tener una pequeña esperar, pero merece la pena. También tienen algunos libros muy interesantes que se pueden comprar. Encantador ambiente. Gracias

My wife and I recently had a function at All Saints Chapel and if we could give it more stars...we would. Ever since our first meeting with Dariana she has gone above and beyond to make our function the most special time possible, and it truly was. The chapel was the only venue we saw and instantly fell in love with it - if you're looking for the wow factor....this place has it in spades!! We were meant to have our function in May 2020 but due to covid this was put on hold - however Dariana was just amazing - she kept everything on hold without charging extra like so many other venues we read about had done with other functions - nothing is too much trouble for this lady, she is simply first class. We had the most exceptional afternoon tea, the building looked stunning and it was the most perfect day in every way possible. Would highly recommend this wonderful place for your function. Visité a mi madre y nos sirvieron las más deliciosas albóndigas asiáticas auténticas y rellenas. Los sabores eran delicados y los ingredientes naturales. Este no es un tipo de café "todo lo que puedas comer" y creo que recibiría una crítica brillante de un crítico de comida sobre la fuerza de la cocina y el ambiente. En la actualidad es una experiencia gastronómica bastante tranquila y pacífica, pero envío esta opinión porque quiero que otras personas disfruten y aprecien a Okalla.
