The best restaurants in Four Marks and Medstead East Hampshire South East

It great to get a take out fresh coffee which doesn't cost a arm & a leg! Barista style or hot chocolate - easy to help yourself, so very COVID safe. Clean bench outside so I sat a while and enjoyed my drink.

My partner and I were staying nearby and had dinner her one evening. We were blown away. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and the pub was quaint and pretty. We are so glad to have visited and will be back next time we are in the area.

Buzzing, busy, family-run cafe which we visited entirely by chance, following the brown signs from the A31. A haven of happiness! Fantastic gf chocolate brownie. Equally amazing Biscoff slice, according to my husband. Thank you to the lovely staff, and to Duster the cat, who knew I speak Cat, and gave me a lovely, purring cuddle! I wish we were local..

Always a nice trip to Garthowen. Good variety of plants which are of good quality. The cafe serves good food and coffee. The store staff are very helpful and the gorgeous cat who sleeps on the displays just makes my day 🐈

As locals we come here almost weekly with our little dog only to arrive today to be met immediately with utter disdain from a young dark haired woman behind the coffee bar telling us dogs weren’t allowed inside which was odd as less than a week ago ours plus multiple other dogs were very much inside… whilst I totally respect if this was a change in policy it was the disgusting rudeness and utter hostility of the waitress that is the basis of this complaint. It is completely up to the owners as to whether they would allow dogs and we always respect that decision but it felt as though she was looking to shame and embarrass us before we’d even walked through the door. As such we won’t be coming back without our dog. I would suggest finding elsewhere if you would like to avoid this kind of “hospitality”. She has truly let down what is a great establishment, such a shame.

We have had plenty of great meals at the Saffron. The staff are always friendly and food came out quickly. The food is always of the best quality. If you are looking for an good Indian meal in the area, then I would highly recommend.

Popped in at lunchtime for food and a drink. Very cold, no fire or heating,it was freezing. Sorry but I won't be going back.

Excellent bakery and coffee. Stopped here on the way home from the coast, it is truly amazing. The choice of bread, cake and rolls is superb. We had filled rolls and sausage roll with coffee , so good had to take some bread and cakes home. The only problem is that I live too far away to visit more often.

I feel aggrieved by the event here NYE 2024. The ticket listing and event stated Curry and pint for "1st tier" tickets for £20. Paid £80 for four tickets. Only to find you get a few entrées/nibbles and have to pay EXTRA for the curry. This was misleading information/pricing as at NO point was it stated as having to pay EXTRA for a curry. This definitely WILL effect my coming to further events with this brewery if that's how they will treat patrons. I won't be falling for your con again. Yet again, a brewery/pub rips you off at NYE. Shameful.

Food was hot and tasty. Nice experience

More than enough chips to feed a hungry family, I asked for small chips, accompanied by a thin piece of fish identifying as a large haddock. The fish flesh was rather chewy. This is the second time the fish has been poor in about 6 visits, so I will try elsewhere.
