My partner and I were staying nearby and had dinner her one evening. We were blown away. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and the pub was quaint and pretty. We are so glad to have visited and will be back next time we are in the area.

When you enter the cafe, it is normally quite busy. Believe me, you should not come here for a quick pit stop; it takes an extremely long time to get the attention of the waiters. You have to, quote on quote, vigorously wave a silly yellow flag to get their attention. After what felt like an eternity, a waitress came to take our order, and she was hopeless with the card reader. Twenty-three to thirty minutes after our order had been taken, oddly enough, the food came before the drinks. Although there is nothing to complain about concerning the food, except of course the absurd prices, which are out of this world. The coffees came, but I think it would have taken me the same time to go to Colombia myself and make the coffee. As another member of the family joined us, we asked for a coffee, so we tried to get a man on the floor to take the order. He simply said he was unqualified. So once again, we waved the flag vigorously and got a coffee for the ridiculous price of £3.20. In conclusion, it takes a long time to order and is quite expensive.

Popped in at lunchtime for food and a drink. Very cold, no fire or heating,it was freezing. Sorry but I won't be going back.
