The best restaurants in Dover South East

Have lived in Dover 3 years and used all pizza shops here till I found pizza go go Dover and now will not use anyone else , great pizzas good value and the staff are amazing, yes I've had a couple of wrong order issues in the past but the management have always been polite and resolved them ,I have never had to wait longer than 30mins for delivery, so I would highly recommend, great fresh food , good service and quick delivery, thank you go go's hope for many more years of great service 👍 (to the management) please can you add to your menu garlic sticks , made from medium dough ball , rolled and cut into 12 brushed with garlic butter and topped with parmasan cheese I have inclosed pic on review , would be great if you could sell them too would just make my experience greater and I'm sure your customers would love them to especially with salsa dip or hot salsa dip,d

Just had a SHOCKINGLY BAD meal from Shanghai in Sandwich. The food was appalling ! Chow Mein so burnt it was black, rice was cold and dry and the Chicken Balls were just batter, they hadn’t been anywhere near a chicken ! I had politely asked to change one item to an alternative dish and was charged an extra £1. When I queried it, was told that it was a “fine” for asking to change from a chop suey to a chow mein. Even though the chow mein was cheaper than the chop suey !! Bad business, bad customer service and bad food. Never again !

Ci siamo fermati per una cena veloce a fine vacanza, purtroppo abbiamo dovuto cenare fuori dal locale perché il cane non poteva entrare (nonostante non fosse specificato con cartelli) e per tutta la cena i figli dei proprietari ci hanno disturbato spaventando il nostro cane facendo scoppiare palloncini e prendendoci in giro nonostante gli avessimo detto ripetutamente di smettere. Poiché nessun adulto è intervenuto nonostante fosse palese il nostro disagio, abbiamo lasciato il locale prima di finire di mangiare. Il cibo di scarsa qualità: le patatine molto probabilmente riscaldate e non preparate sul momento.

Best and Freshest Whelks Ive had for a while and we travel to a seaside destination everyweek and get seafood and ice cream. I lovely lady served me and this is my Dover go to place for Seafood from now on. Very reasonable prices a buy by the pint here which is rare now. Highly recommended!

I walked into this Waterfront Bar & Lounge early morning after a lovely zen walk along the seafront with my family. Then visited the cafe, then was greeted by a member of staff with a very unfriendly demeanour no morning greeting - I was greeted with a grumpy face and was told “we are busy so you will have to wait! “ So I walked out and went to COSTA - I like to support local business but not this occasion!

Had our first home delivery order yesterday, and delivery was quick. However, I made the mistake of not looking at the prices upon ordering. I was shocked when double checking, as food was over priced, e.g. 4 chicken nuggets for £8, which is double of other takeaways. Sadly, the chips were cold too. On the plus side, the 2 kebabs were very tasty, but expensive compared to wear I've eaten before and the salad could have been larger! Overall, some nice food but over priced.

Spent many times there with my Son. He loved and as I love him

Ordered a couple of 6inch sandwiches bank holiday Monday morning. The guy serving didn't know any of the offers advertised around the outside of the building so got charged standard for items when I repeatedly said about the offers. To top this off even though the bread selection was different for both sandwiches they were both stale and dry and weren't fresh.

Ordered delivery. Food arrived Luke warm. The mixed kebab was a mushy mess and cold. The chips were cold. I was charged £3.50 for a very small and cold rice. I would not eat from here again.

The food was great, love the chicken satay, and fast delivery.

Unfortunately, this was my second time here to give it the benefit of the doubt, as on my first visit I had to complain. I had a breakfast which was greasy, but edible. I wouldn't order again. My friend had the veg breakfast, and the burger was very dry. Desert was okay, except my friend had the apple pie with ice cream. It wasn't mentioned when ordering that the ice cream was extra cost. Cherry pancake was the best out of the bunch.

First time ordered , value reasonable good meal size ordered chicken box donor ,it all comes in box with fries (not many could do with a few more) emptied on to a plate good amount of chicken , now the Review, Chicken was extremely Dry and salty was not nice ,my friend had beef donor that was also dry and had crispy bits of donor it was that dry, was worth a try as had never ordered from GDK(German donor kebab),Dover before , I WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN though quality of the main product THE MEAT was RUBBISH both CHICKEN &BEEF, sorry no photos forgot to take them,D
