We booked here for a Sunday lunch today and it was amazing very generous portions lovely fresh food piping hot lots of fresh veg we ate so much we could hardly move we did have a pudding too which too was excellent lovely friendly atmosphere attentive staff would highly recommend to go here for Sunday lunch will definitely be going back

I recently visited the half moon with my partner and had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was exceptional. The manager Tom, truly goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcome and valued. The landlord and lady (Manny and Natalie) are also incredibly nice, adding a friendly vibe to the place. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing a top notch experience is evident in every aspect of the pub. The kitchen is not open yet but I hear that they are planning on opening it. I highly recommend the half moon to anyone looking for an excellent night out. Thank you Natalie, Manny and Tom for making our visit so memorable!

Superb Sunday roast, nice topside of beef with all the trimmings. Friendly Staff, good service, would definitely go again.

Lovely, freshly cooked fish. Of course you wait for it, while it is cooked fresh, and well worth the wait. OMG i loved the batter and the chips were exceptional, not like some of the chips that get served up which are limp these days. This is a local business and i was just passing through last week. Friendly staff with some added banter , who clearly know the locals. If i pass through again, it'll be F&C for me !

We tried the restaurant for our anniversary and weren’t disappointed. Despite some previous reviews that aren’t that great, we thought we’d try it and I can honestly say it was absolutely wonderful. The service is old school and excellent. We were extremely well looked after and we both thought the food was absolutely first class. It is a very old building and as such the decor and atmosphere is very ‘of its time’. It’s not modern and 21 century styled. It is sympathetic to its history which we loved. The gazpacho was delicious (no need for croutons and keep it really cold please) and the scallops, lamb and accompaniments were absolutely delicious. My husband had a fillet steak and he was very happy - cooked rare as he likes it and tender and delicious. The pavlova could have been better (ice cream instead of cream and the meringue poss not homemade) but honestly for the money it was excellent value. We had a really wonderful evening and will definitely return. Please do give it a go.

Dropped by for a coffee last week. The service was okay though the coffee was nothing to write home about. The first time I tapped my bank card the assistant said it hadn't worked, so I inserted the card and tried again. Checking my statement a few days later I found I'd been charged twice. So instead of £2.50, the coffee cost me £5.00. I've been in touch with the café several times, but had no response. I hope this isn't happening to everyone!

Midhurst so needs this little shop in the High Street and I have always had a warm welcome. The food is excellent, particularly the Tartiflette but the salmon quiche is also to die for. It’s a proper taste of a France and just what we need in these post Brexit times.

Been visiting Costa Liscard for years and always put photos on Facebook. I have now been refused service for taking a photo which is not illegal. Lesson learnt woke strikes again
