Midhurst so needs this little shop in the High Street and I have always had a warm welcome. The food is excellent, particularly the Tartiflette but the salmon quiche is also to die for. It’s a proper taste of a France and just what we need in these post Brexit times.

This French manager is Extremely RUDE. He knows me as I have been there many times before and live in Midhurst. On 8 July am i was served a half cup of coffee instead of a 'cafe creme' by a young assistant. May be she' was new? I. went back and she filled cup with milk. But coffee was COLD. This RUDE French manager then took over. He wouldn't listen to my complaint. I said I would not be coming back. I had already paid and had left my currant bun on table o/side on the table where I had been sitting. . He then came out and gave me the new coffee, wrapped my half eaten currant bun and told me to leave. It seems he cannot keep staff. Two friends (both french-speaking) found him v difficult to work for . They both left. Yes, I was told he was running a Cheese shop in Haslemere. Told by two friends who live there that this Stefane Jacob ( never paid his Bills in Haslemere. Now operating in Midhurst. His appalling RUDENESS on 8 July so unnecessary. All he had to say was "i apologies. I will make you a fresh HOT cafe creme'.Simple. Done. HE has served me in the past and knows how I like my cafe creme. I will never go near that shop again. He cannot take Criticism. But becomes aggressive & rude. He will lose customers by his RUDENESS

Sat outside the Bakery, in the sun, and had a delicious toasted cheese sandwich and coffee for lunch. The service was very prompt and the food tasty and good value. Whilst we were there, a lone cyclist was "sent packing" as they did not want to park an expensive bike out of sight. This lack of customer consideration, has reduced my rating to a four overall.

Midhurst Bakery? That’s a joke, no longer bake! Bread is outsourced in small quantity’s! Arty farty overpriced “Artisan”Products! Absolutely rubbish since they moved down town with the new French proprietor , do yourselves a favour and go to Fitzcane’s opposite or Gartons in the square 😉 Midhurst Bakery sucks! You’re welcome 😉

What a little gem this place is. The owner and his staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is amazing quality. The range of cheese, superb. And Costa Rica coffee! We were staying nearby and stopped for coffee & cake. We came back for lunch the next day. We bought coffee beans & cheese & chilli jam too. We’d visit daily if we lived here!

I visited this bakery a few days ago and the French manager was extremely rude. At the time there was another family in the bakery who asked me if my grandmother and I would like to order first. Before I had the chance to reply the manager put his hand in our faces in a stop sign motion saying “they can wait”. This was extremely unnecessary as I had not been trying to jump the queue, rather the family had asked me, to which I was trying to say they could go first anyway. After this we were trying to pay and the manager was holding out the card reader and saying “where are my customers?” repeatedly implying that he only cared to serve the other family, despite the fact that they had gone to the other side of the store and my grandmother and I were ready to pay. On top of this, the food was disappointing. We had the vegetarian pizza which had crumbly, soggy pastry as the base. Additionally, we were given no plates, napkins or cutlery to eat with despite the fact that the ‘pizza’ was falling apart and very messy. This was the worst customer service I have encountered and I will not be returning.

Saturday morning me and my partner decided to have some pastry with coffee and to get it at the local bakery. It was our first visit and we were happy to support local business. So when we arrived there we could see 2 persons were inside and the sign on the door said "Maximum 2 persons" (covid lockdown times). So we waited until these people left the bakery and then we entered. While we were choosing what to buy (literally 1 minute, I am not kidding), the staff member allowed another 2 persons in, who immediately bought out all the pastry that we wanted to buy. Never stepping a foot in that place again. Went to costa instead.

Visited this store a few times. Yes the staff smoking outside the shop is very off putting. Young lady and the older lady are lovely. Greeted by the man. He is extremely rude. I wouldn't bother going in if I were you. I do not want to give my money to a shop keeper who is rude. Shame as I always try and shop in the smaller shops. Not this one anymore.

This place is a gem. The staff are lovely helpful and polite. The fresh baguettes are super yummy, the morning sausage baps and bacon rolls with a coffee, spot on. I love this bakery I’ve been using it since I moved to the area and I’ve never been disappointed with choice. Lovely 👍🏼

Cannot resist to stop (when parking space available in the street) at the Granary to purchase some of their made from Haven breads and certainly scrumptious Brownies. It is pity and disappointing that the shop is cleared and closes so early at 4:00 pm !!! This is probably the consequence to its success that the breads are all sold before 4:00 pm Well done Boys and Ladies for your good work ... When are you going to open a similar Shop in Petersfield ? who is in so much need of your Craft Breads. PLDC x.

I bought a large loaf and a couple of crusty rolls. The assistant served with a smile and sliced the loaf for me.

I popped in to grab a fresh loaf on a Saturday morning and was greeted with happy staff but their clothes were filthy ( nothing an apron wouldn't change) then on leaving one of the staff was stood literally right by the front door smoking, so close the cigarette smoke was going back into the building! Not a very good advertisement for a business, and put me off what was very nice bread!

When the Granary Bakery (from Haslemere) had opened an other Shop in Midhurst where I was living, it has been a dream come true...Thank you to bring in this charming village your "Bread of Haven" ... You are the best in this industry and you are making certainly your late Father proud of his two very talented sons... Be blessed by the Gods of Haven.. It is pity that the shop closes its door, so early at 4:00 pm !!! Any chance to bring your exquisite Art in Petersfield ?.where I live now With my fussy experience (60 years +) and expertise on bread of all around the world you will not have any real competition here and the Petersfield's people will love, you and your breads...

Un hermoso pub, en un lugar hermoso. El personal era amable y acogedor y la comida era increíble, vivo en Londres, pero sin duda intentaré hacer otra visita, me imagino que sería encantador durante el verano
