The best restaurants in Kidlington North Cherwell South East

I work just up the road from this van and it's the highlight of my day whenever I decide to treat myself. The breakfast options are amazing, the specialty burgers all have a really surprising yet perfect twist to them, the cold sandwiches are amazing value for the portion size and the Tuesday chicken specials are well worth the wait. Only thing negative I can say about this place is the coffee not tasting the best but everything else is a perfect 10/10

Bartender was rude and had a bad attitude. Left before ordering due to his tone towards my 4 year old child. In response he said, “I don’t have time for feelings”.

I was trying to work out why we hadn't bought a takeaway from TN for many years when one of their menus came thru the door recently. So we ordered a meal with all the bhaji trimmings and nan and very quickly understood why we had given them a miss for so long. My chicken curry was tasteless and contained only enough chicken for a single portion, leaving a whole portion of unwanted sauce. The vegetable dish was bitter, on the oily side and only made edible by covering it some of my leftover sauce. And so on.......... On the plus side, they prepared the food quickly but that wasn't enough to earn another star.

Whilst tiny this place is a bit of a hidden gem. The range of sweets, smoothies, milkshakes & teas is pretty good. The staff are beyond lovely & very helpful. Shames its not bigger as its mostly rammed as its so popular.

Food was really good and the price was very reasonable. The two ladies behind the bar were so lovely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us they made our visit very memorable well done and thank you for a lovely evening

Great coffee in a very large cup

Awful experience, once again, after being told a time to collect, waiting for 15mins after agreed time, then being told 25-30mins more. Some people complaining about wait times of over an hour and a half! Food is really good, but after this being an issue twice within a couple of months and also being given the wrong order on another occasion, I shall not be returning anytime soon!

Pretty rubbish meal. Medium portion of chips were very small, cold and stale. The fish was soggy and a tasteless burger. Overall pretty disappointing and crazy that it cost £25!

Disgustingly dirty, ensuite was filthy, floor built up with dirt in the corners, toilet seat heavily stained, shower screen not cleaned from previous guests, tile grouting heavily stained, bottom of door frame rotting. The room itself had an underlying unpleasant smell, paint peeling off the window sill, mould on the ceiling by the window, heavy dust and grime residue above the headboard. The manager was using the room next to us and had his TV blaring until 2am and I had to knock on the wall to get him to turn it off, so hence a sleepless night. Evening meal was substandard, just frozen peas and Brussels advertised as seasonal veg, the fried eggs at breakfast were rock hard, so.... They have a manager who can't manage, a cook who can't cook, and cleaners who can't clean. We had booked for 3 nights but left after just one night, and the owner didn't address these complaints at all, he wasn't bothered as they'd already been paid and we never got any money refunded. The manager did make an appearance at around 10-30 the morning we left, but appeared a bit hungover and not interested in us leaving at all. We have spent a few good times here, it's a shame that this wasn't one of them. We won't be going there again.

Very nice place to visit and very friendly staff and locals good entertainment put on first Friday every month.

We went for a family meal today to celebrate my husbands birthday. We all (4 of us) selected the carvery, but unfortunately the food was just warm. We mentioned this to the waitress who didn't seem surprised at all, and she also said that we were not the first to have said this! It was a shame as the food tasted very nice, but was very much let down by the temperature. The waitress explained that the food would have been warmer if we had eaten earlier in the day, but the food should have been hot, regardless of what time of time we had ordered it. The staff were all very welcoming and made us feel very welcome.

Ordered through justeat, Charged me £20.99 for a medium pizza even though they had a £10 offer on and added onions when I clearly asked them not to

Had a lovely meal here. Food was hot, tasty and service was great. Dani looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area. Handy for travel, just off A34. Thanks Dani for all your hard work and to the team as a whole. :-)
