Long day , needed some food for me and my daughter after moving into the area - service was great , food was great !! We had salt n pepper chicken, chicken fried rice , curry sauce !! Ace !!

Greasy and vile. Chicken pakoras were strips of chicken with tiny bits of batter mixed in instead of the chicken coated. Madras more of a Balti dish. Chips were soggy. Poppadoms were swimming in grease. Rice was nice. Bombay potato's looked like mash and didn't have much flavour. Naan bread was alright but not great. Had to wait 30 minutes for food to be ready. Really disappointed. Binned 90% of the food. Wasn't enjoyable at all.

The best burgers 🍔 in Chester no doubt. And the fried chicken is some kind of magic. Must be because it's made by some of the nicest people around. Big love x

Chips over cooked and cold, roast beef for the hot sandwich was packet sliced beef yuk, bacon and sausage sandwich over cooked. Extremely disappointed

Had fish and chips with mushy peas. Overall very poor. Chips ok. Fish had been frozen for ages as it tasted of nothing just Grey mush. As for the peas. £1 for about 10 peas that were like bullets. I won't be back

Lovely cosy coffee shop. Lovely and clean and really friendly staff. Great cakes and drinks. So glad we found it whilst having a look round the town.

Asked for separate sauce to be told it's too expensive. Paid extra for the sauce. No sauce in my bag. Nice food. Poor personal skills

Ordered a takeaway whilst on holiday. I had chicken chat, tikka starter, sag aloo, and pappadums. All very nice and would use this place again of ever I am in the area. Staff are very honest, too. I misheard the price and gave the guy over £30, he then made it clear he was asking for £13.

This restaurant has recently opened and the staff have nailed it! The service is excellent and very friendly, the food is perfect. Would highly recommend a trip to this fantastic venue 👌.

Nice decor and friendly people. Dogs welcome. However: They had no idea what a "cortado" is so barista skills/expertise are lacking. Very small choice of sweet treats.The scone we had was very dry, clearly nowhere near fresh.

Great service but the worst tomkah soup I've ever had

I had an afternoon tea at the Arkle in The Chester Grosvenor purchased for me as a birthday present. My partner & I selected a mixture of traditional & gentleman’s afternoon tea to share between us. The traditional is finger sandwiches and the gentleman’s was bigger items including Welsh rarebit, chicken roll & an amazing battered haddock sandwich. The sweet treats were beautifully made and it was made extra special with a chocolate happy birthday! The selection of teas was vast, I went for English breakfast and my partner chose the rum coffee tea which was really different but very nice. The service was great, it did get a bit quieter with servers after 4pm though. There isn’t a dress code at this time, I dressed a bit fancy as it was a special occasion but others were very casual so anything goes really!
