Went with friends for an afternoon tea yesterday. It was amazing, as usual. I have been many times before. it was my friends first time and they were very impressed. Cannot recommend this place enough. The takeaway part of the cafe also has outstanding cakes and bread products. The ladies are very friendly and helpful too.

One of the cutest little coffee shops, right by the promenade. Very little room inside, but plenty of seating outdoors. Chocolate brownies are a definite speciality, fudge too. We stopped off for coffee and cake, trying two brownies plus a bakewell blondie. A real treat was the square of fudge they give you free with your hot drink. Expecting it to be quite expensive, I was relieved to be told that they accept card payments, I was also pleasantly surprised by the final bill. Will definitely return…very soon. Open daily Wed-Sun. Stumbled across this place by accident. Not very busy on my visit. Staff polite and attentive. Had the large breakfast which was served quickly. Can't fault the amount of food you got. Well present and on the whole good ingredients. I usually feel that sausages make a breakfast and these were OK. Good value and you can't go hungry here. Place has a bit of charm. Would visit again. Hope this establishment is a success as a lot of competition in the area.

Called Saturday evening, hadn’t booked a table but staff fitted us in and we sat in the window. Restaurant was busy so obviously very popular. Ordered lasagne and garlic bread with cheese. Meal was lovely would definitely go again. Staff attentive and pleasant, made us feel welcome even though we hadn’t booked.

Bloody love this fabulous cafe, the food and beverages are always 5 stars, never had a bad visit. The staff are always lovely and welcoming and nothing is ever a bother for any of them, great place for a meet up with friends for cake and coffee or even a lovely meal, highly recommended.

I moved to Cleveleys from Blackpool 5 years ago and within a month found Kay's kitchen around the corner, an unassuming little shop in a line of others, very thankful I did. I’ve been a repeat customer since then and will quite happily state that myself, family and friends I’ve persuaded to try have never had anything but a brilliant meal from them (and my wife is very fussy when it comes to Thai food). Any negative reviews questioning the quality, taste or service will be the rare exception to the rule and more than likely outside of their control. Or, quite possibly, someone throwing their toys out of the pram which is a common feature on Tripadvisor but they can’t be blamed for desperately wanting more food from here. The Penang / pineapple curries, chicken strips & pad Thai (to name a few) are fantastic but everything on the menu is fabulous. My only regret is not working my way through everything on there yet but consulting my wall chart I must be 2/3rds of the way. Kay, Jules and the others there are very friendly, and I always leave chuckling for one reason or another in a hurry to dig in. The one negative comment I have for Kay's kitchen is they have set the bar way too high. Whenever I go away on a work or personal trip, I try to find a Thai restaurant or takeaway but all others now ultimately disappoint (one in Bridlington was close but no cigar). Rob

Lovely Italian restaurant. For a starter, we got the bruschetta which was easily the best I've had in a long time, if not ever. This was followed by a garlic bread with real garlic (not garlic salt) that was quite flavorful but not encrusted with salt like so many are. I got the ravioli in gorgonzola sauce on the recommendation of the waiter and it was everything I'd hoped for with tender little pillows of spinach and ricotta ensconced in waves of gorgonzola sauce. My husband had the bolognaise and equally enjoyed his meal. I would highly recommend this place, it's off-the-beaten-path nature means you may not notice it, but if you give it a chance, it will likely impress you. Perfect for a nice date night. The mid-week dine-in special brought us in, but we will definitely be back.

We have used this pub for many years now and it never really changes. It's always been a friendly place where you can relax and have a quiet drink or a noisy one, if you choose your times right. The beer is always really well kept. I drink John Smiths and I've never tasted a better pint of it anywhere else.

This place was recommended to us but unfortunately it was not as good as expected. We were greeted by a stressed out looking lady who was rather snappy in her tone of voice,we sat at the side of where the female frier was working and the fish did not look white at all before she dipped it in the batter, her hair was hanging round her face when it should have been tied back and she wore a fleece looking jacket instead of an apron and with no hat or cap on her head, will not be going again because it was quite expensive.I hope they improve on my opinion because you never know they might well get a visit from environmental health one day👎
