Visited with friends for my birthday...what can I say? just wonderful!!!our waitress made us feel at ease the minute we walked in... she was so lovely and welcoming...totally down to earth and friendly. my friends had salmon and chicken...I had the Tonno pizza (tuna and onion) The Garlic bread was the best I've ever tasted...and I've tasted a lot!!!Wine was ice cold and a reasonable price...When we left we were given a flyer with deals on for the restaurant and take away which were brilliant value.Will definitely be visiting this little gem again!!!

Now called Benvenuti, lovely meal, great service would highly recommend. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were great. Mixed bag of orders but all 4 of us enjoyed our meals.

Now named Benvenuti, we found the restaurant by accident, as we were staying in the area for a dance competition and what a fortunate accident that was. Really nice surroundings, and excellent front of house staff who looked after us royally We had a mix of pizza and pasta with our younger son saying that it was the best pizza he'd ever had The food was plentiful, really hot, extremely tasty, excellent value for money and there was a good range on the menu. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough

First time we'd been here since it changed hands and changed name but we weren't disappointed. Food is very reasonably priced, even the specials (Fillet steak circa £24 - which was fabulous BTW). Portions are very generous and staff very friendly. My only gripe would be that the beer was wasn't as cold as it should have been. The food was great, all 5 of us were more than happy with the price, service and quality. I would recommend...!!!!

Family meal on a quiet Sunday evening , excellent food , we had meatballs , calamari and mushrooms in Gorgonzola on chiabata for starters . Main courses fillet steak and sea bass all cooked to perfection with vegetables and tasty sauces , fabulous portions . Wonderful friendly staff , recommend you pay a visit , we will definitely be back soon . They also have a takeaway service as well which is worth a try I’m sure , it’s a big yes from me !

My wife and I visited this place by pure chance. We'd booked for somewhere else but ended up not eating there and by chance we tried Pizza and Pasta. So happy we did! I had the Cannelloni and my wife has the Carbonara, both were fantastic. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to visit again.

We booked online with no problem and received confirmation email. Restaurant was lovely and clean.. service was excellent and the food was outstanding! We had their homemade Lasagne.. Homemade Pizza.. Homemade Garlic Bread.. with a few extras on the side.. all the food was served fast and food was all cooked fresh a piping hot! 5 stars all round.

We have been in the area for the last two days and visited the restaurant both nights. The owner is Sicilian and my wife works in Sicily and we use the have an apartment there. The food is very authentic and the calamari starter was the best calamari I’ve had outside Sicily. All of the other dishes we had were very good and excellent value for money.

It was a spur of the moment decision to try Amore on the 19 th November with my girls friends I was so impress I came back with my husband 3 days later and again we were blown away the mushroom starter was to died for as well as the chicken and beef pancakes and with the complementary nibbles just made our night.

As always a lovely meal with friendly service, this is our 4th visit to dine in and we have had a weekly takeaway for several months since discovering this little gem, always value for money

Honestly the best Italian food we have ever had ! The brushetta starters omg just delicious and very big portions ! The mushroom starter also was just so authentic and we were all very impressed! Then came the mains , well my meatball and pasta dish was just incredible ! Tasted perfect with every flavour just melting in your mouth ! My.partner had the carbonara which she loves and said without a doubt the best she has tasted anywhere! My.mum had the spag bol and I tried it and same again 10 out of 10 ! The kids menu was brilliant and very generous portions I have to say ! As for the service 10 out of 10 very attentive and got everything perfect for us and nothing was too much as we were a fairly big table with alot of needs ! We even had what we left put in containers and garlic bread in pizza boxes to enjoy later ! The prices are very good for the quality of food here we will be back again ! Made out night thanks very much to everyone !

Visited here whilst in town to visit family. We were greeted nicely and ordered a round of cocktails. The drinks were delicious. We then had starters and mains and a couple of bottles of wine for the table. I had the mozzarella fritter to start and penne al forno, having traveled to Italy I couldn’t knock the authenticity of the dishes and my partner and friends all enjoyed their dishes as well. We did have a little problem with the red wine- it appeared to off but we asked the host to judge it and he agreed it wasn’t right and immediately set about replacing it. To round off our meal we had a round of Irish Coffees and then the host treated us to Limoncello. All in all a great night, felt relaxed and unhurried and the food is definitely good value for money and will definitely be back next time we’re visiting family in the area.

We arrived and it looked quite run down. Light bulbs were out and an outside heater was fitted inside... we decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt and the food because sometimes looks can be deciving. The garlic bread was just basically a sandwich with melted cheese in the middle and some kind of season maybe garlic replica because that wasn't garlic or garlic cheese bread. The wine when we asked for sweet rose the waitress didn't know anything she had to go and check which wine was sweet rose which took her ten minutes after waiting 10/15 minutes for them to take our drinks order. After that we ordered our main. Bolognese and meat balls the Bolognese was no italian Bolognese it came out of jar with no seasoning and the meatballs were the same! My partner itilain left his pasta service is horrendously slow and the food is definitely not italian cooked. Itiians would not let that food leave the kitchen there ancestors would kill them

It was our Anniversary recently so we decided to try out this Restaurant, despite some recent poor reviews and are glad that we did. Service was welcoming and friendly and the food was good. We had a lovely evening and would recommend you give this Restaurant a visit. I believe there are new owners since the recent poor reviews, we certainly couldn't find fault on our visit.

Food was not very nice. Carbonara was like a dolmio white sauce. Arrabiata was flavourless and the pasta was well and truly over cooked. Service was pretty horrible too. They seemed nice and welcoming but we weren’t given proper glasses to drink with and the water was warm.

Don’t normally write bad reviews but I felt I had to, probably one of the worse meals I have ever had… Pasta dish had metal in it from a scourer. Wrong meal delivered to table. Steak was over done and veg burnt, and the sauce was lumpy and served in a bowl. Wine tasted like vinegar. A hole was in the floor which was dangerous.

I was there a few days ago with my family and we found the real Italian food now it has changed, the restaurant has changed its name and is changed for the better, very clean Italian waiters are sorted with apron, mask, hat and shirt with the logo of the restaurant and all the staff are true Italian I recommend it to everyone especially to people who love to eat well, I am very happy to have known a restaurant like this, we will be back for sure

Have been here several times since we moved to the area, obviously since lockdown not so much, recently aware of the change of ownership, this was still one of our go to places when some some kind or normality kicked back in....Bring back lockdown is all I can say, food below par, service, expecting italian, got some kind of foreign language that was spoken amongst the waiters, food seemed like it was pre cooked and just warmed when ordered, got bamboozled when we asked for a glass of rose and the waiter brought over the bottle and said it was too late as the bottle has now been opened just to have a glass, 3 course meal in just over 90 minutes is not my idea of a nice meal, avoid at all costs...

Ordered lasagne forno; jeez just soggy pieces of pasta with a thin sauce poured over it .Never again.

to be fair I have eaten at this restaurant so many times in the last ten years when diago had it. Went here for the first time in months 2 of us had prawn cocktail it tasted like they were frozen and defrosted in water for a long time they had no taste at all just rubbery. Two of us had pollo strognoff it was so bitter and strong we both couldn't eat it. My friend had fillet steak pancake she couldn't eat that it was swimming in watery gravy. Finally we had chocolate pudding with melt in the middle sauce the 4 of us had .every single one was completely dry so obviously over microwaved. Not one of us had a melt in the middle. So all in all a very disappointing night such a shame used to be really nice. We won't go again

My friend and I visited this restaurant and walked into an amazing atmosphere. We were seated promptly and given the most excellent service. The prawn starter looks a little pricey but worth every penny. The mushrooms and garlic bread were to die for too. We both had fillet steak risotto and really enjoyed it, excellent main course choice, Lots of meat and very tender. The service and laughs from the staff and owners were amazing and will most Definately return and highly recommend. Thank you for the most enjoyable evening xx

Honestly don’t even know how you can serve such disgusting food. Meat tastes off in everything. The worst meal I have EVER had. They went from nice wood pizzas, too these awful ones with awful meat, garlic bread that is like a crisp. It really needs looking into.

Just had an amazing takeaway from here.I am extremely fussy and especially having to eat gluten free, it can make eating out difficult. However, the quality and price was amazing. It came 45 minutes after ordering and piping hot! My partner didn’t have gluten free, he had a normal pizza and he loved it. Would highly recommend.Thank you!!

Not the best, canneloni tasted watery and 'defrosted', garlic bread had a hair in it..such a shame have dined in the restaurant several times won't again..

Went here with my husband for a impromptu meal. Not been for a while but certainly have missed the wonderful food. Toto the owner very welcoming and came out of the kitchen to say hello. The food we had was excellent so tasty hot and well presented. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this Italian restaurant and very good value for fantastic food.

Only recently found this little gem hidden away, cannot recommend the place highly enough, it does exactly what it says on the tin, nice, small, intimate, clean, friendly, staff are amazing and the food matches perfectly, starters were lovely, the pizza is amongst the nicest in any Italian restaurant previously and the drinks are very reasonable.

Visited for the first time for a birthday meal - very pleasantly surprised. Staff were lovely - we had to phone twice as we couldn’t make our booking due to a family emergency but they very kindly kept our table and were very welcoming when we did finally arrive. The food was lovely - very hot and nicely presented - also reasonably priced. We had an assortment of dishes between us - a pizza, chicken and sea bass - they were all very good. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely evening with a very good friend. Hadn't been here for a while and I have to say it gets better all the time. Lovely atmosphere, great service/staff, reasonably priced and the food was excellent, piping hot, well presented and good portion size. If you haven't been for a while or never, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Came yesterday for a meal for my friends birthday, the restaurant had a nice warm feel there was homemade bread to nibble on whilst waiting for your food, the starters were great and then we had our main courses, the lovey lady behind the bar came over and said there was a slight issue with the order and had to wait an extra 5 minutes for my lasagne and if I would like a drink on the house, it was not necessary but was a lovely gesture because the lasagne was worth the wait, overall a nice friendly atmosphere to eat in.

Went to this restaurant for the first time. Will never go again. Atmosphere terrible. Staff miserable. Food rubbish. When I gave a tip to the waiter he never even said thank you.

Amore is by far the best italian in the area, it is run by an italian family who treat everyone with respect and a family feel.

Came here for my grandmas birthday, We were greeted on arrival by Joseph and Abi who were awesome hosts and had great guest service... made us feel very welcome.

Tried this Italian Restaurant because we had heard good things about their food. We weren't disappointed. The service was excellent and our meal arrived promptly as specified by our waiter. All four of us ate something different, my lasagne being delicious and piping hot. Suffice it to say we all enjoyed the food with clean plates all round. What a lovely restaurant - we'll be back.

Having been regulars for many years at La Dolce Vita, it was great to find our local Italian restaurant has re-discovered its mojo! It has been re-born & re-branded as Amore but it very much lives up to the excellent reputation established by La Dolce Vita. A thoroughly enjoyable evening - great food, atmosphere, & service. We’ll be back!

We have now visited this restaurant a few times, the latest being last night.

We were a party of 4 and it was a very busy evening, with two, fairly large private parties. However the choices on the menu's were plenty and the service was second to none. It is a pleasant place to eat and every member of staff was excellent.

This the second time we have visited this restaurant. Food is outstanding( piping hot!) can’t recommend highly enough!!

Went for a family birthday a party of 13 people. Service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and plentiful. Prices were excellent. Cannot recommend this little gem highly enough. Will definitely be visiting again.

Not good at all. Have been here many times over the years but not that often for the last few years. Arrived about 9pm and my wife and I ordered a main course only. I ordered a steak and my wife ordered a seafood medley in batter. The seafood was far too salty. She said it did not taste fresh - she said all she could taste was salt. The steak was not too bad but the sauce was tasteless.

A welcome return to how the restaurant used to be, - very good service, delicious food freshly cooked. Highly recommend - especially if you've not been recently. Thoroughly enjoyed Saturday night visit. Dont be put off by website...it's not just a takeaway.

Was recommended by friends for takeaway pizza and wasn’t disappointed. Couldn’t find how to add extra toppings on the app so called the restaurant. The guy that answered couldn’t be more helpful and sorted it over the phone. Delivery guy was prompt and friendly and the pizzas where great. Very pleased to have found this little gem !

Went for an early dinner and both had pasta. Lasagne and spag bol. Both plentiful, hot and tasty. Garlic bread excellent. Staff are young, enthusiastic and very friendly. We had previously been at Easter and thoroughly enjoyed medallions Rossini and tiramisu. The early bird pasta offer is very good value. Next time we will try something from the A la carte menu.

The food here is amazing ! Our favourite Italian, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly and attentive.

First time visiting this lovely restaurant, hadn't heard any buzz about it so was not expecting such great food or service. We all ordered different dishes and all raved about the quality. Some other reviews noted that the service was slow but it was quite a quiet night for us and the service was friendly and excellent. Highly recommended.

This is my second visit and both times the food has been divine. There is a limited bar and slower service hence only 4 stars however the food is great and waiting staff are very friendly.

Good food and great service, but a little lacking in atmosphere. Staff could not be more helpful, but place was quite for a Thursday evening!

We were a large family with an advanced booking, yet even though the booking was made, they clearly could not cope with it. We waited a very long time to receive any food ordered and the adults were served first (very, very slowly) with the children receiving their food last. The service was incredibly poor with no member of staff being at all attentive or even apologetic as to the extended wait. Whilst the food may have been tasty, the service was awful, with only a bottle of Peroni offered as compensation for a missing meal and prolonged wait with absolutely no acknowledgement of the children that were present. Certainly not suitable for families with children.

Birthday celebration for large party. Excellent hospitality, tasty food and all food arrived together and hot. Reasonably priced. A few complimentaries too which was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Went here on a Saturday night, didn't book just rang up and they got us a table straight away. The service was excellent, the food was excellent too, 2 free shots at the end of the night and the bill was less than we expected. A little gem of a restaurant and Will definitely be visiting again!

After hearing about the restaurant from work colleagues, I thought I would try it myself. I convinced my husband to drive the extra distance from Blackpool. I had the chicken pancake, he had the fillet steak. After seeing the bill decided this is going to be our regular restaurant. The food was excellent, service was a little slow but worth waiting for. I will be recommending to my friends and family.

worst place ever had a meal went as a birthday party after 2 hrs waiting still no starter when the starters did come not worth waiting for then another long wait for the main course i have never seen a grey steak looked like it was boiled in water no taste un edible and with it 3 very small onion rings one small mushroom and a few kentucky type chips in a bowl one in the party never got her meal when one of the party complained about the wait and food then they tried to offer a free drink another party on a 21st waited from 7-30 and at 10 pm all walked out they had not even got there starters spoiled the girls 21st birthday i find this is the worst place ever eaten in been offerd a free sweet if we go again well will be staying well clear the service the food is terrible no excuse for having to wait only good thing was kids pizza but that was taken away before they had eaten it very disappointed first and last time in there so unless you want a long wait and poor food keep clear

We went with a group to of 9, the place seemed very nice and cosy with a close friendly atmosphere, staff were very polite and friendly. We ordered starters and main, waited...... waited .... waited. 2 hours later another table started to have a go at the lady behind the bar wondering why they hadn’t had food yet. (They were there before us) It seems they were making food one table at a time.. A tables starters then when done their main, then move onto the next table.. surly everyone’s starts should be prepared pretty quickly. With no indication when asked as to when the food would be ready we decided to cut our losses and just leave and order Chinese.. Disappointing to say the least :(

This place gets better me and my friend had a wonderful meal. Everything about the meal tonight was superb. This places deserves a visit you will not be disappointed

Tried this place for the first time last night. We weren’t expecting great things after seeing only breadsticks on the table with no dips and we had to ask for the candle to be lit, but I have to say that the food was amazing, especially our mains - spaghetti marinara and spaghetti carbonara! My carbonara was the best I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had a few over the years!! Just need to sort out the breadsticks and then you’d be getting five stars !!!

Ordered from here for the first time, never again. My husband ordered via just eat app, over an hour later the food arrived lukewarm. I went to eat my chicken and it wasn't cooked!! I called them and they said no problem will get another to you, no apology. It arrived an hour later, didn't eat it as had put me off and had gone past being hungry. Will never order or or go here again and won't be recommending either!!!
