We have used this pub for many years now and it never really changes. It's always been a friendly place where you can relax and have a quiet drink or a noisy one, if you choose your times right. The beer is always really well kept. I drink John Smiths and I've never tasted a better pint of it anywhere else.

Has potential but a poor range of watery beers and always seems to have bingo on which is mind numbing, however friday band nights are enjoyable. no sport tv to attract a larger and loyal following. ok but could be better.

Unscheduled visit to The Pickled Goose in Garstang. We were accommodated for a table of seven with no issues at all. The service was top-notch, and the front-of-house staff were super polite and clearly well-trained. I had the steak and kidney pudding, which was to die for, and a sticky toffee pudding, which, being honest, was possibly the best I’ve ever had. Absolute top marks, Pickled Goose—don’t change a thing!

High StreetGreat pub, always busy, drinks are really cheap. Hospitality second to non. Dog friendly, disabled wheel chair accessible, great beer garden, bowling green. Pool table, darts. And overall a safe inviting place to drink in
