Absolutely incredible…best burger I’ve ever had. The service was excellent…can’t wait to go back and work my way through the menu!

Got home and food was cold. Also the kebabs had next to no salad and sauce on them. Thought I would try somewhere new and wish I hadn't. Won't be returning.

Amazing good quality food, the staff are absolutely brilliant so kind friendly always smiling, cheer me up everytime I see them make you feel so welcome , absolutely love them all, brilliant team of girls who always go above and beyond for their customers

I stayed at the Royal Oak across the road from this little gem of a cafe. Best breakfast in ages. No portion control so make sure you're hungry and go with the large English. No doubt better than the breakfast at the Royal Oak and 2 quid cheaper too.

A lovely,quirky place in a glorious setting. The food is well prepared and generously served. We were so impressed by the friendly staff who whilst busy, had time for a quick chat. p.s. probably the most dog friendly establishment I've ever been to !

Went for a quintessential afternoon Tea, NOT !!! Afternoon tea, is meant to be an occasion to relax and enjoy good food and company .This experience lacked attention to detail . Felt as if we were a nuisance , Distinct lack of service ,Got the feeling we were too much trouble , gave priority to lunch guests first ,even though we had booked and were on time . Only allowed to chose one sandwich filling. 4 very slim fingers , no garnish. An extremely small scone , not warm , not homemade jam, A small Meringue, and a small Rocky Road finger. No top up of drinks offered. £22 per head , shocking !! Have been here many many times before for a snack but this was definitely not an experience to be repeated. In this day an age there is no room for complacency .There's plenty of choice out there

Honestly some of the best chips I've ever eaten. Whenever I have friends or family over visiting I will get them chips from Martins lane.

Excellent food, excellent friendly service. Only disappointment was the addition of the 10% service charge on the bill, with the option to ask for its removal or change. Much prefer to add a discretionary service charge of my choice when bill is presented.
