The best restaurants in New Brighton Wirral North West

Never ever would I have expected to find a place like this in New Brighton - it’s truly excellent and it’s certainly what the area needs. Bistro 115 has a relaxed ambiance and a rather eccentric and fun interior. Staff are really lovely, very warm and friendly and fun. The food is exceptionally good and ok the dishes are gimmickly named, ie “Oh My Cod” etc, but…..oh boy - absolutely delicious, innovative, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced, desserts are divine- - it’s a smashing place and when I am next up north, it’s a dead cert that I’ll be lunching/dining here. Highly recommended.

Wonderful lunchtime with family at a tremendously friendly venue. Excellent food and to die for cakes. Service was by a polite and friendly family team and I would 1000% recommend to everyone. Thanks so much to all especially Halle

Excellent service and the food is superb at very reasonable prices. Add to that the resident friendly dog .. lovely place and such friendly staff.

Went to brunch today and as always the staff went out of there way to make sure that we got a table even though we had a wheelchair for my wife they went and made room for us to get in and have a table so that we could eat I ordered the ham egg and chips with bread and as always the chips were wonderful the ham not your ordinary run of the mill shop ham but very tasty exceptional ham the eggs as usual cooked perfectly and lovely and golden yolk when split open I can't say enough the food was very very good my wife went for a bowl of chips with bread and as usual the chips were fantastic she enjoyed every chip she ate as she is quite fussy when it comes to chips but she was very happy to eat most of them and only stopping due the fact she was full she was quite upset at leaving some on the plate the latte I had was well made hot and was beautiful especially with the double shot of caramel in it my wife enjoyed her mug of tea in all we have visited 3 times and never had a complaint apart from the delicious food and very helpful staff there isn't a cheaper place on the wirral for food especially there breakfasts which maybe cheaper than elsewhere but are very tasty and reasonably priced I won't be going anywhere else but always to brunch for my food

Lovely restaurant and ambiance. Open kitchen. Food was nice, not amazing, just nice. Service was awful. Slow and no contact. We were booked in for 6.30, ordered food around 6.45 and got the food around 8, by this time we’d lost interest, which I suppose had impacted on our view of the food it’s self. Served one drink, not checked upon. Cakes looked amazing but sadly the vanilla sponge was dry. May go back and try breakfast as been told thats good.

Came here with my husband for lunch last Sunday afternoon. We both ordered the ham, egg, and homemade chips, which were lovely and very filling. (The chips are to die for.) We both had a latte, which was hot and delicious! We've never been here before, as it's in an area where there are several cafes and bars that we've always walked past but never been inside. It looks like it's popular with the regular customers, too, as it was fairly busy when we arrived. Will definitely be coming again when we visit New Brighton.

Wow…. Just wow! So nice to have an alternative menu to all the standard ones everywhere else and …..TASTY! This place deserves its top ratings, food was delicious and service excellent. Thanks guys for a lovely evening❤️

I just love this restaurant. I have been at all times of the day and evening and the food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. To the person below who said they could do better, I assume you own your own restaurant if you're that good? Cory and his team have everything absolutely spot on. I introduce a lot of friends to Nickel City and not one has been disappointed. It's a jewel.

Had a lovely lunch here today with my husband and daughter. Very friendly, quick and attentive service. My Eggs Royale was beautiful and my husbands chunky chips are the best I’ve ever had. Good coffee too. My 4 year old daughter was happy with her meal too so all round a lovely afternoon. Thank you Olive Tree Bistro we will definitely return soon!
