Lovely room. Clean and warm on arrival. Check in was easy and staff friendly and welcoming. Very handy to have the pub on site so we could have dinner and a drink after a long drive. The pub was lovely, warm and cosy with the fire on and lovely christmas decorations.

Not the best. It wasn't exactly a disaster. Staff are friendly, decent menu and a good selection of ale. However my fish batter was soft and soggy like when you stuff up in a microwave, same for the apple crumble. Really pretty building from the outside but lacks that warm atmosphere.

Went for a carvery, the staff were great, very friendly and accommodating, especially to our generally well behaved but sometimes unruly children. The food was great, excellent portion sizes for carvery meat compared to other simailar local pubs (especially the big chain carvery in Ormskirk). Reasonably priced too. This place has gone through some hard times recently but it’s 100% getting back on its feet.

Can't believe how much I enjoyed the steak topper, perfect amount of everything. Staff are lovely.

Beautiful public ho. Brilliant menu, something for everyone, even vegans! Generous portions at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

Lovely food. Menu is simple but big enough which is so much better than having a big menu. Such nice staff that work there. Service was amazing, well done to the lady on the bar. Ignore the bad reviews and I’m fussy when it comes to eating. The prices are the same as other pubs, there is nothing to complain about and we will be back.

We have visited Eden before for just tea and cake. We decided to visit on a Sunday on the off chance. The resteraunt was very busy with all tables in use except for one free table to which we took it gladly. We ordered tea and food from the menu. All was perfect, if not a long wait. We did not know about the 90 min rule, so I can imagine if you are a group of four or more, you will eat into the 90-minute very quickly. Two hours would be more reasonable. The staff are young people who are trying to be efficient, but they are quite forgetful. Having finished our meal and the promise of bringing the sweet menu, this never took place after at least a 10-minute wait. We ordered takeaway cake instead. There are far more positive reviews than negative, and I can understand some slight negativity, but please don't let this put you off from experiencing a really nice time here.

Absolutely top drawer coffee and cake in a very cosy and friendly setting. Great selection of pastries and sandwiches to boot.

Ring O’Bells is a lovely spot for Sunday lunch. The beef roast is usually great, and the glass orangery is such a gorgeous place to sit—plenty of space, and our dog is always happy and relaxed here. It’s generally reliable, though once or twice it’s felt like we caught the end of service. Still, the atmosphere and decor make it a great choice for a relaxed lunch. Lucky to have it nearby.
