The best restaurants in Broadheath Trafford North West

This was our first visit and we were very pleasantly surprised. We had a 3 course lunch and the food was delicious, very tasty. The service was also excellent. We have booked to go back as we really enjoyed it and it was most definitely value for money.

Be warned that the Indian Palace, formerly Spice, is going through another transition and is currently shut while being refitted (Nov 27th, 2024). Signs on the windows say it will be reopening soon as the "House or Biryanis and Kebabs". I hope it still servers restaurant style and isn't just a franchise clone... Below is from 2003. Ate here the other day with the kids as a group of 3. We were well looked after by the main waiter who recommended the prawns which were fresh that day. Had the prawns for starters, a biryani, and two curries along with a couple of naan and some rice. The lamb in the curries and biryani was some of the tenderest I've had in the UK - will be back for more of that! Good portion sizes, including the plain rice, though a few more poppadom bits on the poppadom and chutney starters would be good. After trying curry houses in Timperley Village and The India Palace in West Timperley (on Manchester Road), the India Palace deserves many more return visits.

Really nice pizza but just a little disappointed that there was no vegan cheese.

Lovely little cafe with the cutest owners. They're much faster these days with an extra staff member.

Always tasty and good value. Dishes a bit variable sometimes so sometimes incredible but always good.

Food is really good, however, something has seems to of changed slightly in their recipe (for the worse), still good though!

Great service and freshly prepared. My only wish was that I could leave a comment on the order or ask for extra pickles!

I have been a few times before and the food was lovely but the menu has changed and now it is over priced oven food unfortunately.

It's not expensive and the food was simply just OK. Basic stuff on the menu that was adequate and served a purpose of satisfying hunger. Prompt, friendly service but we were the only ones there. The interior is shabby, scruffy and tired looking and not as clean as it could be. In a handy location but a low-level transport cafe standard. Not my kind of place. Won't go there again.

Rip off to expensive only take cash wouldn’t take card I wonder why ????
