Be warned that the Indian Palace, formerly Spice, is going through another transition and is currently shut while being refitted (Nov 27th, 2024). Signs on the windows say it will be reopening soon as the "House or Biryanis and Kebabs". I hope it still servers restaurant style and isn't just a franchise clone... Below is from 2003. Ate here the other day with the kids as a group of 3. We were well looked after by the main waiter who recommended the prawns which were fresh that day. Had the prawns for starters, a biryani, and two curries along with a couple of naan and some rice. The lamb in the curries and biryani was some of the tenderest I've had in the UK - will be back for more of that! Good portion sizes, including the plain rice, though a few more poppadom bits on the poppadom and chutney starters would be good. After trying curry houses in Timperley Village and The India Palace in West Timperley (on Manchester Road), the India Palace deserves many more return visits.

Really nice pizza but just a little disappointed that there was no vegan cheese.

I ordered a Spanish latte and sausage on toast. The latte was decent but didn’t really taste like real condensed milk was used. It tasted like a syrup was used as an artificial taste lingered on my tongue afterwards. I was disappointed because I asked them if they used condensed milk before I ordered and they said yes. Anyway, I wouldn’t order it from here again especially because how expensive it was. The sausage on toast was okay overall but again nothing very special in terms of taste and portion size was small as they used quite thin sausages - similar in size and shape to hot dogs. For the price, not very good. Service was quite poor. We were seated promptly as it was a bit busy but not too busy. However, I had to order from the till which was confusing because we were given menus implying we would order from the table but as no one came I ended up going to the till to order. Another issue was they served the hot drinks far too early and it had gone cold by the time the sandwich was served - I had to ask for an update on the food as it was taking too long. In all, I would probably only ever come here again for a coffee to takeaway. But that said, I won’t be in any rush to come back.

Sale and pepper chips not spicy Salt and pepper ribs fried in batter and not spicy Beef in black bean sauce advertised as hot was watery and mild .

Food is really good, however, something has seems to of changed slightly in their recipe (for the worse), still good though!

Great food, lovely beer, excellent service and lively atmosphere! Perfect Friday night out! Definitely one to be recommended.

If you want your food to turn, I wouldn't order from here Charges you, claims the order didn't come through. Gives you a HO number and laughs.

Rip off to expensive only take cash wouldn’t take card I wonder why ????

The best food i have ever had in Sale. The lamb tikka lava is a 10/10 - presentation spectacular - cozy atmosphere - waiters are very friendly and lovely. Always greet you upon arrival and very helpful - the food was amazing would recommend
