Be warned that the Indian Palace, formerly Spice, is going through another transition and is currently shut while being refitted (Nov 27th, 2024). Signs on the windows say it will be reopening soon as the "House or Biryanis and Kebabs". I hope it still servers restaurant style and isn't just a franchise clone... Below is from 2003. Ate here the other day with the kids as a group of 3. We were well looked after by the main waiter who recommended the prawns which were fresh that day. Had the prawns for starters, a biryani, and two curries along with a couple of naan and some rice. The lamb in the curries and biryani was some of the tenderest I've had in the UK - will be back for more of that! Good portion sizes, including the plain rice, though a few more poppadom bits on the poppadom and chutney starters would be good. After trying curry houses in Timperley Village and The India Palace in West Timperley (on Manchester Road), the India Palace deserves many more return visits.

Really nice pizza but just a little disappointed that there was no vegan cheese.

The temperature of the hot flat white wasn’t quite warm enough and the service could do with a bit of improvement.

Sale and pepper chips not spicy Salt and pepper ribs fried in batter and not spicy Beef in black bean sauce advertised as hot was watery and mild .

Food is really good, however, something has seems to of changed slightly in their recipe (for the worse), still good though!

Fabulous roast dinner, great quality, value for money & good portions. It was excellent. However, poor choice of starters & portions are a bit meagre especially for the price. An unfortunate downside of this establishment is the condition of the ladies loos ... you can put bleach in the loos & give them a good scrub, the whole toilet area needs deep cleaning, a decor refresh & good maintenance.

Christmas Curry Delight! We decided to switch up our Christmas Day tradition this year and opted for an Indian feast, and boy, were we blown away! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. The curry itself was an absolute masterpiece. The flavours were rich and complex, with a perfect balance of spices. Every bite was a flavour explosion, leaving us wanting more. The service was impeccable, and the staff were always on hand to answer any questions or provide recommendations. If you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant. It's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a fantastic meal. This place has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. The beer is well kept, food is good and staff friendly. Best pub in Timperley IMO.
