Just The Ticket Cafe in Trafford

Had a delivery the extras we ordered never came we been here and good few times and this time wasn't a nice experience

Salt and pepper hash brown are to die for very recommended, Great staff and nice atmosphere Will definitely be back .

Nipped in for a breakfast barm, it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth, not the best. Plus one of the ladies who worked there was smoking at the entrance, not a great look imo.

Really lovely warm atmosphere and the staff go out of their way to see you get the food you want from breakfasts to home cooked favourites, it's been a pillar of the community for over a decade and is the place to be everyday, very reasonable prices

Went in for a coffee, the lady asked fresh or instant, I said instant as fresh is to strong for me, she served it out of the coffee machine which actually boils the water to full temperature ooh, my friend wanted latte but not to hot so I asked could she not boil the milk to much, and wey hey she did exactly that, great cafe great service 😊

Wouldn't recommend beef looked like dog food so my jack Russell ate it, even he spewed!

If you are looking for coffee this is not the place. Scalding hot over boiled milk, can't even hold the container which has heat protection on the outside, cup is leaking all over my hand. Disappointing.

Absolutely horrible. They have no idea whatsoever about to make a proper coffee. I couldn't even drink mine and I had to leave. Very bad

They advertise fresh groundly coffee. Well what we got was Nescafé. They added absolutely boiled water it was just impossible to drink. Also they look very confused behind the counter. 8£ simply flushed down the toilet. Not recommended at all.

Picked up a sandwich and fruit salad, excellent quality and very good value for money. The lady behind the counter was friendly too. Highly recommended

Wow! I’ve had a fair few afternoon teas in my time but I was genuinely blown away by the afternoon tea box I ordered to take with me to visit Grandma as a little treat. Little it was not!!! Truly amazing value for money, but what I loved the most was the variety of items in the box. The best afternoon tea I have ever had by far. Highly recommend.

Popped in here for a quick breakfast sarnie. I immediately felt welcomed, and it has a nice casual atmosphere. I had a bacon egg & sausage barm and it was absolutely delicious and at a great price. I would definitely recommend this cafe, and if I am in Timperley again I will come back.

This place is very convenient for the tram stop at Timperley because it was the Train station Ticket Office before it converted to a metro tram stop on the Altrincham to Bury line. I use it frequently on my way on or off the Tram. You always get a warm welcome it is cosy and there is always a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices. See you soon

Perfect stop for a ride along the canal

Came across this place by accident the other morning when on the lookout for breakfast. As the name would suggest, the cafe is located in the former ticket office when Timperley still had a proper railway station. These days the Metro still runs by. There was a good choice of breakfasts on offer at surprisingly good and reasonable prices. My food arrived hot with two perfectly cooked fried eggs-yolk nice and runny. The quality of the bacon and sausage was also decent. The place is run by a lady who has worked there for seven years and owned it for three; this place deserves to succeed and I wish her well Whilst clean, the decor was a bit tired but I think this might be work in progress. Recommended and I could return the next time I need a non mass-produced breakfast.

Come here often the food is out of this world and Cheryl the owner very welcoming would highly recommend

Popped in lunch, lovely home cooked food, defiantly a undiscovered gem, had the steak baguette with salad ... ill be back

A nice place for a coffee and chat

Not your usual cafe amazing food and loads of beverages including milkshakes such as bueno milkshakes and loads more. Also the best place to go for lunch in the week, can’t beat the jerk chicken and peri chicken!

I come here for breakfast and lunch every day and the food is outstanding, anything you want Cheryl will make it, proper home cooked food and would recommend this cafe to anyone.

Excellent service and food . Had the chicken and chorizo kebab and it was one of the best I've tasted . Noticed the lady behind the counter was extremely busy as she was working by herself but we got our food in a reasonable time and it was definitely worth the wait. This was my second visit to just the ticket and I will be returning. Hats off to the lovely lady behind the counter . She works so hard . God bless her .

Eat here 2-3 times a week. Extensive menu and if it’s not on there just ask, Cheryl always aims to please. Healthy cooked breakfast and Omelette for those counting Syns. Daily Specials but have to recommend the Peppered Beef! Clean Cafe, Friendly staff and Welcoming Atmosphere.

Visited for breakfast and will not be returning. The cafe was filthy, food stains on the leather sofa, crumbs on the window sill and tables and the bottom of the counter had grubby black marks all over which resembled mould. The server was on her own but it takes seconds to wipe the tables down. We were there 45 minutes and not once were any tables wiped even though there was food stains and crumbs visible. My advice would be for the staff to arrive earlier than opening times and give the place a good clean. The breakfast tasted ok but was put off by the uncleanness of the place.

Most food I find is simply too complicated and expensive. The food here is very tasty, no more complicated than it needs to be and prices are very low so don't hesitate to come here if you are hungry but money is tight. I am a vegetarian. You will never be forced to eat meat here as you can just ask for anything without meat.

Personal desinteresado, ya que no era un habitual.Más interesados en estar en sus teléfonos y también para no fumadores en la tienda ya estaba intentando comer. Este era tan desagradable e irrespetuoso, pero me sentía como que no podía decir nada a la que lo harían en mí. Yo no recomiendo hacer aquí. La comida era buena, pero el ambiente no era estupenda.

Awesome place! I've been going here for 5 years and never had anything other than excellent food served with a smile. Wide range of everything and if you're indecisive just ask for something nice and you won't be disappointed.

I eat here daily and for good reson. Great cooked breakfasts freshly made to order. You can also find delicious home cooked specials daily. The slow cooked beef in peppered gravy is absolutely superb. A little gem that is excellent value for money with attentive, friendly staff!

The thing I always look for is do I like to spend time there.....and yes i do....Food always quality and the friendly warm atmos keeps me going back. :) xx

Been going to this little place for a good while now, foods great more so the lunchtime specials the service from Cheryl the owner is always friendly and courteous always aiming to please which l always find is an added bonus, with a great atmosphere, and very reasonably priced food should you be on a budget, very clean,.. perfect for an all day breakfast or just a quick sandwich if no time for a sit down meal, l would highly recommend the minted lamb casserole with the sweet potato, what can l say but a great stop especially for commuters using the local Metro situated a very short distance from this location its ideal i would without a doubt give it five stars any day..

There is nothing pretentious about this cafe which is located in the character former ticket office building on the bridge over the canal by Timperley tram station. It wouldn't win awards for decor or modern, fashionable menu so if that is what you are after, this is not the place for you. What it does offer is an extensive menu of typical local "greasy spoon" options; if what I had is anything to go by, they are not only at good prices, but are also fresh and tasty. I particularly liked the range of breakfast barms on offer. My bacon and egg barm came in a fresh bun with both the egg and the bacon cooked just perfectly. There are quite a number of tables inside and a couple of small ones outside by the road. Plenty of locals pop in and out for take-out food or drinks. This would be a great place to take a break while biking (or walking) along the canal towpath. Grab a Metro newspaper from the tram station, and relax with a drink and bite to eat before carrying on with your bike ride.

Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean Good selection of food and drinks cooked as ordered Welcoming atmosphere. Not to busy Fab if your in last minute or in a rush Next to timperley met station.

I am the building manager in nelson house opposite "just the ticket café". Since the lovely lady Cheryl acquired the café she has turned it round not just to be competitive, but to provide a fantastic atmosphere & to simply cook outstanding fresh food in a open plan kitchen. Nothing is too much trouble & its hard to find a place that you don't get bored of due to the variety of food that is available, usually there is a daily special on. They also offer a vast selection of café favourites, but also cater for those like myself who was to eat healthy (some of the time!) As well as doing shakes, slushes & a good selection of hot beverages. Highly recommended to anyone!!

Love this place so well located and the service from the staff is second to none, always a welcoming atmosphere foods fab and always a variety or a lunchtime specials on offer in fact only downside is that it's not open Sunday's!!
