Food is really good, however, something has seems to of changed slightly in their recipe (for the worse), still good though!

Really quick service, the man at the till was really friendly, and it was pick up in 15 minutes. The food was hot, delicious, flavoursome, and great portion sizes (we have leftovers for tomorrow). The salt and pepper chips were really tasty, the vegetable dry chow mein was amazing, and so was everything else we ordered. We even got free prawn crackers- which were perfect and fresh. The only slightly negative feedback we’d give is the satay sauce was slightly bland. Apart from that, we will definitely be going back to Dragon City. Thank you!

By far the best in the world for price quality and quantity

Probably the best Chinese food I ever tried with good value for money. Loved the ribs and friend rice. Would come back here again when I get the chance

I can honestly say this is the worst chinse i have ever had i got the combo for 2 ribs were very bland more flavour in the grease that was on the paper they came in how this place has a 4.4 rating i dont avoid it all the food i bought went in the bin AVOID THIS TAKE AWAY

Ordered a meal for 2. Portion sizes are about average, in my eyes a good balance of veg(filler) and meats. I think for some ppl they may feel there is too much filler. King prawn size is smaller than other places. The taste I would describe as light I can't taste much if any msg and salt is also in low amounts. I personally prefer it like this but some may feel it's a bit bland. I didn't have that takeaway thirst after meal so it's a plus for me. 18 quid I feel it's a good deal and will be hard to match locally. If you like a stronger more explosive flavour this place not for you. 8/10 for me but I think if you prefer more flavour and less filler then 6/10

I have used Dragon City takeaway for over 40 years and the food is always well prepared and tasty. Portion sizes are generous and filling and there is a large choice of dishes to suit everyone.

Been visiting for 40 years, it’s become a family legend with now grown up kids who live around the world! Can’t believe they close on the two busiest nights of the week, must be losing a fortune. And no, they have never delivered.

This takeaway has been here as long as I can remember and it still has the same owner which in my books means they are doing something right! The food always tastes fresh and hot; the menu never alters apart from new additions or special offers. Guaranteed same quality every visit.

Stopped by for a quick grab and go on a Sunday evening. Proprietor Dave was friendly and polite. Regrettably the food ordered was not consistent with rival dishes and the satay/black bean dishes were bland and largely made up of small diced onions and green peppers. We discarded more than half the meal as a result of the disappointing quality.

I've been visiting this takeaway since I was an apprentice 30 years ago it's been run by the same family the food has always been outstanding, and when ever i am in Manchester this is on my itinerary. Strangely they don't open on a Friday or Saturday at the moment i believe for family reasons so keep that in mind

A take away I have used for some forty years plus. Never had a reason for a complaint. Worth trying if you never have.

I have been having takeaways from Dragon City for over 30 years, you wouldn't do that if it wasn't worth it. The food is ready in 10 mins and is always fresh and hot, plenty of choice and I have tried loads of different dishes. My favourites are crispy duck, Singapore Vermicelli, and Fillet steak Cantonese style, all are delicious. They don't deliver and they don't take cheques or credit cards, but believe me they are worth the small inconveniences. Give them a try.

the chicken was tough and tasteless and I wont be going back again the hot and sour soup was delicious however

I have been going here for a number of years and the food and service has always been very good. The only that let's it down is the waiting area please do something with the seating and heating in the winter months but at the end of the day we go for the food nothing else

I probably order a meal from here 3 weeks out of 4 which might say more about me than it does about Dragon City. The food is always of good quality and the service is excellent. They work hard and as a small independant it is good to support them. The front waiting area could definately do with a spruce-up but apart from that it is difficult to think of a criticism and as I always phone it through I rarely wait more than a minute. If your looking for a Chinese take-away that is easily accessible with regular quality food then this is the one.

I have had good food from Dragon City for many years. Try the Barbecued Spare Ribs, taste great and lots of them.

Best chow mein you can buy. However don't believe the review that claims they deliver - they don't and never have.

The food here is really nice, cheap and cheerful. The owner is very friendly and approachable. It's set in a good accessible area where parking is not an issue. This place is an independent company and deserves to be praised more often.

Often the food can be bland but almost always fresh sometimes you have to wait a while on a feezing cold bench that resembles a doctors surgery more so when 2 sides are full, The curry is a tad to thick and chips can be poor quality at times,The fried rice is hit and miss one day you can get it and taste amazing the next time it looks like they added some glue to it

Had several home deliveries,always nice meals and speedy delivery .5star.

Great food, with hygiene rating of 5. Cheap as well! Would fully recommend this chinese takeaway. Best food in Sale!
