Ordered the share box from here yesterday evening due to the ratings on Google Maps for the quality of the food. Honestly it was a disappointment, the share box has multiple salt and pepper dishes however they were under-seasoned and tasteless with barely any chilli's and onions in the dishes. Additionally, the chilli chicken dish also disappointed and was tasteless (not spicey at all and lacked flavour). Will not be ordering from here again.

The best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had and over my 65 years I’ve had a lot. Not greasy, freshly cooked in front of you in pristine kitchens. Huge portions of everything we ordered, salt & pepper prawns, sweet & sour pork etc etc. had so much over it provided a very nice lunch at the cricket next day. Very friendly staff and very good prices, wish they’d open a branch where I live

Food is actually nice but it’s a shame about the service. Owner is rude and crazy. Wanted to fight me when she delivered the food, swearing on me and name calling because I was late paying cash when I called the take away and asked to pay by bank transfer which they said yes but she was screaming at me saying I’m the owner they do as I say but still proceeded to give me the bank transfer details. Will not be spending another penny here. No need for the way she acted, you do treat customers in that way no matter what. Your supposed to be running a business.

Fantastic food and super friendly staff! Best Chinese takeaway food around that’s not a restaurant. It’s super clean and well presented and everything cooked fresh so there is a small wait. The only problem is at the time of these review I don’t think they are any delivery service like Uber eats or just eat.

It is a Chinese takeaway plain and simple. But, the quality of everything is excellent, down to the small touches. Clean inside, fast service, reasonable prices.

Ordered from here as staying in Travelodge, getting a takeaway from somewhere new is always a gamble. I was not disappointed. The young chow fried rice portion was huge (couldn't eat it all) S&S chicken balls lots and hot, even had some mini spring rolls which was a nice suprise, arrived bang on time as well. Will definitely use again next time I stay here. (Am regularly in Manchester for work)>

I was craving for beef fried rice noodle, I asked the staff but they do not have rice noodle, so I decided to order a main dish instead because I wanted to eat roast duck too. I choose “Kung po” sauce for my roast duck because I like the spicy, salty flavour of Kung po. When I saw the color I was questioning and think “it is not Kung po sauce at all” because it’s too orange. I was really disappointed after my first bite, it is sweet and sour sauce with a bit chili paste flavour, it is nothing like Kung po sauce at all. My conclusion is most of the Asian restaurants in western countries are serving something that is not authentic because nobody knows what the origin taste suppose to be, and try to adjust the flavour to suit the locals. Unless you try it out one by one, otherwise I will not rely on the comments in google as I’m an Asian, so I do have high expectation of Asian food. 🤣

Hands down the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had. I only buy my Chinese food here from now on as no where else even comes close to the quality and service. Also super friendly people working as always.

I ordered their special fried rice which was loaded with prawns, chicken, pork and beef. Paired it with Chicken in Black pepper sauce which was amazing. From the food to the customer service everything was on point. Singapore Vemicelli is super delicious ,seaweed is crispy and nice! I would recommend it to my friends and family! I also highly recommend this place if you want Chinese food!😊

I've tried many Chinese takeaways , this one first time and it is not good. Food was nasty and overpriced. Never again !

Delivered on time but very average. Nice ribs, nice prawn dumplings, but special fried rice hard, meat chewy and like leather. "Cantonese duck" should be glossy and tender this simply wasn't. Dry chewy meat, skin like rubber. Very disappointing. Gave up on it

I took my Girlfriend here after reading a review in the Manchester Evening News online paper, i pretty much knew not to trust them but thought i would try anyway. Service was terrible even though we were the only customers when we got our takeaway and got home, we found the rice was clumpy and had been boiled to the same texture as rice pudding, the chicken pieces were all bits of collagen and sinew, the curry sauce had the same consistency and taste of diarrhea. We ended up binning it and making our own supper. Suppose it serves me right for reading nonsense.

Great Chinese, wish I had discovered it sooner. Me and my Mrs rated it the best we’ve tried in Manchester and we have tried a few. 10/10! All I would say is the salt and pepper chips could have been a little bit more salt and peppery, with more flavour but other than that! Best chineese so far:)

Fantastic food. Great value for money, food was hot even after a car drive, kitchen very clean and you can see the chefs cook. Great selection of veggie dishes. I randomly saw someone post a picture of the sharing platter on Twitter and after finding out this was close to me I decided to try it. Such good value for money! Also props to the delivery driver - the first driver to ever be able to find our apartment door. Will be ordering again and recommend everyone try the sharing box!

*Edit as second review isn't possible* 05/08/23 This is the best Chinese around! I probably order from here once a week, we have a Friday night takeaway and this is where we go! We tend to like variety with our takeaways but we just keep coming back here! The prices have gone up slightly but no where near as much as other places. And it's completely understandable with the cost of living at the moment. Honestly if your on the fence about ordering from here, I say DO IT!! The food is amazing and the staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly, the driver is always lovely, food always arrives in great time. Portions are large.. All round, you can't go wrong, order from Gemini for an amazing meal with tip top service ♥️ (Try the chicken spring rolls and salt and pepper chicken pieces - super tasty) 😋 --------------‐------------------------------------------- I order from here a fair bit! Best Chinese food I've had in years! The crispy shredded chicken in chilli sauce in particular is amazing! The quality is amazing and the staff are really friendly. I had previously been a loyal customer to another restaurant down the road which I never thought could be beaten, however Gemini is now the new go-to and will be tough to beat. It's a bit more expensive than other places, but it's OK because you get what you pay for, also little details like the packaging is great as well.

Best Chinese I've had in manchester came quickly and warm and best value in mancheshter. take out box was 20 pounds and could be eaten by 3. There are vegetables in all the boxes but only complaint would be one box full off stir fried vegetables would add some variety. Would deffo recommend

Prawns, meats and veg are always fresh as can be. everything is cooked perfectly and arrives piping hot every single time. What can I say the food was AMAZING, such good quality ingredients! The beef wasn't that stringy stuff you sometimes get it was the real deal topside like it says on the menu and has to be the hottest delivery we've ever had. Delivered on time, friendly staff and the little bag it comes in make this place the Selfridges of takeaways! We were recommended this place by a friend and did not disappoint, do yourself a favour and order tonight!!!

Me and my friends regularly get our takeaway from Gemini once or twice a week for 7 months now and all we can agree on is how nice the food and staff are, always welcoming to new and also regular customers. The food is great with a wide variety of options to suit anyone’s needs and the service is quick. Would recommend for anyone wanting a good Chinese takeaway.

Love it here. The food tastes fresh and delicious! Portion sizes are huge! Spoilt for choice as well as there's so much variety. The salt and pepper combo, the special vermicelli and the special dry fried noodle mix with Szechuan sauce is Highly recommended! My personal favourites 😋

Food is absolutely amazing. Had a good range of their selections across 4 visits. Staff are super friendly and always have a smile. Open kitchen which is visible showing excellent hygiene standards which is a biggie for me for any place I eat. Food is really high quality and tastes amazing. Very consistent in taste in each visit when getting the same dishes which I tend to find is a problem across other Chinese takeaways. All in all, its very reasonably priced for the quality, hygiene and service. Highly recommended

This is definately my favourite Chinese takeaway. The food is gorgeous. It always arrives quickly and it is always hot. Generous portions. I haven't actually been inside as I get my food delivered but everywhere always looks very clean when I go past. The delivery staff and the staff on the phone are so friendly and polite. I've had beef satay, soft noodles, salt & pepper chips, salt & pepper chicken, salt & pepper ribs (I love salt & pepper stuff) and will definately be trying more. I would definately recommend this takeaway if you want good, fresh, tasty food. It's just what Old Trafford needed!
