I visited yesterday on my own and had a coffee and the Shakshouka Bagel which was amazing and very filling. I have visited OTWT many times since it opened in 2019 as I have coeliac disease and all the food is gluten free: I sometimes go to eat in, like yesterday, and sometimes buy food to take away. I am the only gluten free person in my family but we all love the food from OTWT. My other half thinks Hayley’s cheese and onion pies are the better than “normal” ones! Other items I regularly buy and would recommend are the pasties (my favourite is the cheese and jalapeño), different types of cakes and biscuits, scotch eggs, pakoras and the arancini. Yesterday I also bought a pack of bagels after enjoying my lunch so much. Hayley and Dave are super friendly, always making time to chat and answer questions even when busy. I feel very lucky that this I live close to somewhere that makes and sells such yummy gluten free food.

We had a fabulous evening with friends. It was our first time visiting. We were a party of 8 and Amro was extremely helpful booking us in. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was lovely and we will definitely be back. What a great local restaurant!

We turned up today for an afternoon tea which I booked with a £25 deposit (I have the receipt) to find the tearoom closed. Leanne had my mobile number (as well as my money) but never informed me the cafe had closed. I met with the new owner who was full of apologies and was just lovely. Feel very let down by Leeanne.

Great stop by the river selling Purbeck ice cream - the berries and cream are my favourite. Also sell quality coffee, savoury snacks and cakes. The staff are very friendly - recommended

We were a party of 16 celebrating an engagement! We all had a drink in the bar then taken to long table in a private part of the restaurant. The service was very attentive and the food delicious. The portions very generous and the food all came out the same time for all of us. The happy couple and grandpa was treated to a complementary cocktail to celebrate the happy occasion. We didn’t feel rushed and really enjoyed our evening with Shon as our head waiter. The food was so good!!

We booked a large table for lunch having not tried this place before. They were very acomodating with our party rriving at different times. Thre place is huge with lots of tables and a lot of staff and was very quiet when we arrived at 3.30pm. We were asked to write a review and the QR code for trio advisor was given to us at the end of the meal. The staff were not particularly attentive although pleasant and polite in their communication. We had to call them over to order nibbles and drinks. The drinks menu is fairly standard amd the wine list is limited. We had several cocktails to start. Strawberry daiquiris werr unavailable but they offered passion fruit or peach in their place. One drink was forgotten and we had to ask for it again. Espresso martinis were average. It is a common drink for us to order in our grouo so this was a little disappointing. A bit sweet and watery but good creamy head. The first Aperol Spritz we had was huge and delicious. Sadly, a later order arrived in a much smaller glass for the same price. Nibbles were small and seemed pricey. The bread was not very fresh and the portions were tiny. The tomato bruschetta was tasty, we would have liked more of it. A shame that in an Italian restaurant, the bread, butter and olives did not have lovely doughy focaccia. Small packets of Anchor butter ruin the expectation a little... We ordered two bottles of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. On arrival, they opened it and poured a glass for everyone as standard, then left the rest of the second bottle in a wine cooler. The group found the wine to be quite unpleasant but continued drinking it as it had already been poured. On checking the bottle, we found it was Chilean Sauv Blanc that had been served and asked for it to be taken away. It was undrinkable. The staff appeared to find this a little challenging but replaced the second bottle with a warm Oyster Bay Sauv Blanc - much nicer but we used ice from our cocktail glasses to chill it. We were told we would not have to pay for the Chilean wine. The main courses we ordered were a variety of pizzas and several portions of lobster ravioli with prawns. Everyone who ordered pizza said they were OK. Nothing that stood out and distinctly average considering the price. The lobster ravioli with prawn was tasty but served on a plate with an excessive amount of sauce. Around 5 or 6 raviolos and the daen number of praws so not a huge portion. We ordred an additional garlic bread pizza to mop it all up. Again, some lovely doughy fresh bread would have been welcomed here. I would also suggest the a bowl would have been a far nicer way to present this. We were offered dessert but declined and requested the bill. The bill charged us for all three bottles of wine, despite the fact they had served us the incorrect bottle and that we had sent it back saying it tasted awful . We asked for the bill to be changed as preciously agreed. The staff initially returned saying they were sorry they had made a mistake with the printed menu and checked if we had drank it. We reminded them they had poured the first bottle for us, we had drunk some of it then sent the second bottle back. We saw some of the staff appearing to be quite heated and the server's tone was almost accusatory when dealing with us at this point. After a few minutes, the bill returned and we paid for one of the incorrect bottles and the replacement. We agreed to pay for two, despite the error by the restaurant and the poor quality of the first wine. We won't be returning. The prices were at the higher end and the food quality was very average. There are so many little attentions to detail that were missed and would improve the experience. We wish them well but we don't see them being able to compete with the quality of pasta and pizza places that are far better in terms of quality and value for money.

By far and away the best chinese you will find for authentic homestyle food. Yes it is a small cafe with only 10 covers but you will go a long long way to find anywhere serving homemade dumplings. As well as the dumplings we ordered har gau, and pork bao followed by Shanghai fillet steak, duck in plum sauce and Singapore vermicelli. All were excellent. My boys said they want to go back again soon. High praise indeed.
