Excellent independent cafe. I called in for breakfast and some bakery - all really good - made with care! I will definitely visit again.

Great stop by the river selling Purbeck ice cream - the berries and cream are my favourite. Also sell quality coffee, savoury snacks and cakes. The staff are very friendly - recommended

The food was definitely good, no disrespect for that. The customer service however was inexcusable (the blonde girl with shorts). We were polite and respectful yet got not acknowledgment and thanks in return. On top of this the family and friend discount which was meant to be implemented was all of a sudden unavailable for us. This was used on previous occasions so I’m not sure as to why this was not allowed for us to use.

If there was a level above perfect I would give it for our fish chips and peas lunch yesterday.All served in an 'old fashioned' warm and friendly atmosphere.Take a bow Chef Mark.Les Kinsey.

Very slow service. Over an hour between starters and main course. Steaks not cooked as requested.

Lovely friendly pub for our celebration and so well looked after by the staff. Will be seeing them again soon
