The best restaurants in Ashton upon Mersey Trafford North West

I used to live in Manchester and visited this place regularly. I moved away 8 years ago and decided to visit on the trip to Manchester this week but the shop was closed. I messaged on Facebook to be told they do collection and delivery only. They fit me in last minute and I am so grateful they did. They are honestly the best cupcakes I have had and would recommend them to anyone. If you are local or visiting then contact them and put in an order, you won’t regret it.

BOB CATERED FOR OUR JOINT 70 TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. HE CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO DISCUSS REQUIREMENTS AND HE 'GOT US' IMMEDIATELY. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH FOR HIM. THE BUFFET WAS BEAUTIFULLY LAID OUT AND EVERYTHING TASTED WONDERFUL. ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS WEREVERY IMPRESSED. I WOULD RECOMMEND BOB AND HIS TEAM TO EVERYONE AND ANYONE .

We always have a wonderful time at The Perfect Match, and out most recent visit was one of the best yet. Andrea and Jazz do an amazing job of complementing the delicious food with excellent wine and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I had not tried the trout tartare before but it was sublime, and the wine pairing was one of the best I've ever had. We love this place!

Last year, the food quality was excellent, but it seems to have declined this year—perhaps due to the price reduction. However, the service remains excellent, so I’ll continue to support them.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!! Food is utterly divine and portion sizes are perfect. Ordered from here a few times now and will continue to do so!!!

Best fish and chips in England!

I chose this place as a halfway spot for my friend and I to have breakfast together. The food was lovely. We both had veggie full breakfasts, with generous portions, not at all greasy, loely thick toast and a choice of how we had our eggs Thanks to Flo who cooked, and the other lovely, friendly staff for being so welcoming and accommodating. Top place. Would defo recommend

Never been before, recommended, had the full breakfast and a egg barm, both really good quality, bacon n sausage was very good, the partners egg barm, very fresh barm, 2 eggs, delicious. Staff, very pleasant indeed

I had the chicken wrap and i have been on the toilet for the past 3 days, horrible, ive felt ill for 3 days and barely have been able to eat, IF YOU EAT AT THIS PLACE, DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN WRAP

Great food and plenty of it. Some of the tables are abit close to your next table so be prepared to chat! Chicken chat... ho ho ho ! (Curry joke!)

Both the food and service were good but the badly ripped leather seats in the bar were extremely scruffy and off putting so let the whole ambience of the place down.

One of my favourite places to work from when I’m out of the office! Staff are SO lovely and accommodating. Always very clean and lots of places to sit without overcrowding. Only issue (which isn’t their fault!) is the 2 hour parking restriction - I’d stay longer if I could!
