This place has amazing food with very reasonable price. They don’t add service charge so you can save some euros there.
Staff are nice and friendly and overall this place has an amazing atmosphere.
This restaurant is closer to the station so it’s quite convenient to get here.
Overall quite impressed with the quality food, the price and customer service.
This pub is great for meeting up with family friends and casual friends. Warm and cosy. Good service at the Bar. Good food not so expensive. Friendly staff aswell.

Staff act like they don’t want you there. Walked in and waited a few seconds to be greeted. Never happened (3 members of staff all behind the counter). Sat down on a table and grabbed ourselves menus, looked through for 5 mins. Still not acknowledged or greeted. Went to the till and ordered, the only bit of conversation received was “eat in or take out”. In such a manner I felt they might be closing soon and may be annoyed that we’ve come in close to closing time. So I asked what time they close the girl said 10pm. It was 8:30pm. So I chose to eat in.
The food was brought to us and the person walked away as fast as possible without even asking if we needed anything else or wanted to order drinks.
Honestly agree with the other 1 star reviews this place isn’t going to last long at all if the staff have this mentality and approach
We went to Rainbow 88 for the Sunday buffet as a party of 7 and a baby. Food was okay, service was fine.
My issue was the charge when the bill arrived for my one year old of £8. When we asked about this we were told rather abruptly that it's 'on the menu' well yes it is on the menu but we presumed this was a charge for children who are actually eating the buffet. No this is a 'donation' enforced on all your children even the ones who aren't actually eating. I have never been to a restaurant that sticks a donation on the end of your bill for a baby. Yes it's for the Christie, yes it's for a good cause but £8 for a baby to sit there?! Bizarre.
Oh and I had to change my babies nappy on 2 pushed together chairs in the women's toilet under the hand dryer as they have no baby change facilities. Very unhygienic and unsafe.
All in all we have been a few times as a family for birthdays etc but I don't think we will go again. Or maybe we will go back when my child can actually eat so he can get good value out of his £8 donation.
The Magician was great

Wedding reception group of 40!
Linda and her fantastic team worked so hard to accommodate our wedding reception. Everything was so organised and the food was incredible as always! We didn't feel rushed at all, the kids were entertained by Magic Dave while all the adults enjoyed the set menu and duck. It really was a special evening and we want to send a huge thank you and massive appreciation to the whole team.
We would and will be highly recommending Rainbow 88 xxx
Rewriting my previous review after my visit today. I was really disappointed, as this is the cafe I always go to when I'm in Stockport for breakfast/dinner, but today will definitely be my last visit.
Whilst the food is still lovely, the prices have gone ridiculous!! It cost over £23 for a panini, a bacon butty and 2 coffees, which to me is far too expensive (also a note on the menu that they automatically add 15% service charge!)
They require you to now scan a QR code for the menu (you can still get a paper menu, but none of the prices on it are correct), I'd rather not have to scan for a menu.
I asked for a large latte and the other drink was a regular Americano, both turned up the same size, which I wouldn't class as a large drink. When I queried it I was told that was the large..... I'm sure their large drinks used to be much bigger, the size given would be a regular elsewhere. The icing on the cake though was when we asked for cream instead of milk with the Americano and were charged 20p for it, that's never happened before...... Would they have charged us for milk?
As much as I've always loved this place I certainly will not be returning at those prices......possibly that's why we were the only ones in there?!
Went to the Kismet last night for the first time with a group of 16 people for a birthday celebration. All 16 enjoyed the food and service provided.
I would highly recommend the Kismet and look forward to my next visit.
Visited last night for a few drinks and something to eat and I honestly don't think I will be going anywhere else ever again!
Never been to the white hart before so I did ask a lot of questions when being served at the bar but the two young bar staff, Sophie and Danica (I think that's how you spell her name, I'm sorry if it's wrong!!) answered all my questions and honestly couldn't of been any more help! I ordered the salt and pepper chicken and my god, who needs a Chinese takeaway when you can come to the pub for it?! What a lovely dish!
Thank you for looking after me tonight girls and I shall be back very soon!
Had a lovely beef dinner, food was presented well and tasted delicious.Dani our waitresses was wonderful and very pleasant.Jake came out to see us and checked everything was OK. Definitely would eat here again.Highly recommended
We had a lovely afternoon tea here on Saturday afternoon. The sandwiches were freshly made and they had great fillings. The cakes were amazing, so light and plenty of choice. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. It was very good value for money and we will definitely be back.
