Tiamo's Continental Cafe in Stockport

My friend and I love this place, it's got a big step to get in but the staff help me as I'm not very mobile. Wait staff are always cheery and helpful, theres a good range of food from breakfast to sandwiches m/toasties and the thin fries are fluffy inside and crunchy which is the best. Another bonus is they now take card payments ( I think ) they come to your table to take ur order, it's also licensed so u can have a cold beer with ur lunch... There’s a small toilet with changing table. And they also have outdoor seating. I deffo recommend this restaurant.

A lovely find - we had the lamb rice and the falafel wrap, both absolutely delicious, generous portions, exceptional value for money. Service was fab too 👍

Spaghetti Bolognese wasn't that tasty lacked seasoning and very salty. Was given dirty cutlery plus no parmesan cheese on food as described on menu

The halloumi salad was generous and delicious as usual. I also had a non-speciality americano coffee (I believe they serve Illy) that was the best I've tasted for a long time, possibly because they don't try to make it fill a large cup. We arrived towards the end of lunch time and were the last to leave but the staff didn't hurry us at all.

This place should update the Google Maps opening times. They close at 14 instead of 15 on Saturday.

I enjoyed a filling and tasty English breakfast at Tiamo's in Stockport. We received a warm welcome and went all in with filter coffee and orange juice. It set us up for the day.

Service was excellent, even when the restaurant was bustling, the waitress had keen attention to detail and strong customer service skills. Best humous and feta I've had in the UK !!

I love coming here. Food is nice,staff really friendly however sometimes 2 people is simply not enough and poor staff they are running around the place to make sure everyone is ok. The only suggestion I would give is to change soup at some point as my last 3 visits was only potatoes and leek soup which I didn't really like. Lovely drinks, atmosphere and most of the food. We will be back. Thank you💪👌

Great place to have some food highly recommended and good to take kids and babys as they do have charging Facilities and high chairs, and the prices are good value for money.

The food was great and the staff were lovely but the prices are a bit much. £2.40 for a plastic bottle of water is way too much imo.

Haven’t been to Tiamo’s since we move to North Yorkshire nearly five years ago and was looking forward to visiting what was one of our favourite cafes and having one of their full English breakfasts. Well, what a disappointment…. The fried egg was tasteless and yolk like rubber, the sausage cheap, poor quality and the bacon would have been better used to re sole someone’s shoe. I’m not sure what tea bags they use but certainly not decent quality. The beans were good, you can’t really go wrong with Heinz. I think the price is the same as it was five years ago so it looks like they have compromised on quality to keep the price down…🤷‍♂️ I would have given a review in the cafe but they didn’t even ask whether we enjoyed, took the money and said goodbye …. Won’t be going back….

We actually ended up at Tiamos by accident as the place we wanted to go was fully booked. However, I'm glad this happened because I was really impressed with the breakfast! I had a traditional full breakfast - everything was so tasty and the beans were in a little pot instead of all over the plate which is actually a dream for me. There are so many coffees and teas to select from. I can't wait to go back, there were so many items on the menu I want to try and the price was so reasonable. If you are looking for vegan or vegetarian food, there is so many choices as well. Definitely worth a trip if you are I the area.

Lovely place to visit, highly recommend!! Passed a few times and was often busy, today we had time to stop off for a coffee and something to eat and I’m so glad we did. It’s a great little bistro menu. Perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner. The tapas on the menu looked great! The food we got was really nice, rolls were really fresh. Good menu and a range of vegan options too! Great service and food, 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

Flipping lovely. Service was a bit slow because of the Krazy Races in the city centre. Boo was great, the staff were helpful.

Popped in for a coffee and grabbed a sausage sandwich. Both very good, service excellent and friendly.

Stopped here for lunch expecting the usual soup and roll or a sandwich. Fantastic little place with fabulous food. I had the Liberia Polo, a delicate blend of basmati rice with minced lamb green beans and cinnamon. Served with a delicious side salad and a lovely jug of warm rwd pepper sauce. My friend had the vegan falafel hummus tomato and red onion wrap which she was impressed with too.

This friendly family cafe never fails to deliver excellent food and hot or cold drinks at great value. An oasis of calm in my busy life.

Tapas selection is really good, nice milkshakes and great vegetarian options. Really enjoyed my food.

What a lovely place….excellent choice at reasonable prices, beautiful food and very well presented. Not your usual cafe, it has that something extra. I also love the family run feel of it. I will be coming again for sure!

Amazing food. Friendly service. There was a mix up with our order but the waiter came over to apologise and offer a free desert. We both chose from the tapas menu as everything was delicious. We will be back.

Looks lovely outside and the menu is vast with a spectrum of options for meat eaters and vegans. However, my cheese omelette wasn't cooked enough and the egg was all snotty. In addition, our chocolate and oreo milkshakes just tasted of milk. The whole meal was a major let down.

Well it was my 50th Birthday yesterday and proper rainy day. A really strange day but we went for lunch in Stockport. As we passed the cafe to get cash we could smell delicious food from there so we went in. We didn’t realise how late it was but the girls still served us even though I realised they were about to close after we had ordered. I had a Persian dish called Adas Polo. It was really lovely served with pitta. My husband had a tuna panini and I cannot fault this place. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and welcoming and whenever we are back in Stockport this will be the place to go. It has a real charm not like the clinical cafes you find on the high street. This is real and truly a gem in the middle of Stockport. Thanks girls you work really hard there and made my birthday lunch a real treat :)

Decent array of vegan options at a reasonable price

Staff couldn't have been better and portions excellent. Place just needs a bit of a spring clean / tidy and it'd be even better!

Words nearly escape me, this cafe is pure heaven..... INCREDIBLE food, loads of it, VERY tasty and superb prices. Real home cooked feel and the 3 Tapas for £7.50 is a true divine miracle as it includes Salad AND bread. Just a wonderful experience, and extrenely attentive staff.

The food here was amazing , and the portions were incredible. It was obviously a busy place , with people coming in and out all the time. The staff were attentive and very friendly. They had a wide range of salads and veg dishes available. I can't fault the food here nor the staff.

I got Spaghetti Bolognaise 🍝 and it was delicious. It came with a nice garlic panini and parmesan. Delicious. Nice staff, nice atmosphere. Would go again.

Awful. Bought some take away tapas, at what looked like a small family run business selling authentic Mediterranean food. All we got was a very small salad, no dressing olive oil etc on it and 3 very small plastic pots of tapas and a couple of slices of baguette. It was advertised for £6.95. We got charged £7.50 for it too. When we took it back to complain about the size, we were told "well it says tapas". We've had a few tapas in our life including in Spain and Italy but never had any as miniscule as that. The money was only returned to us after insisting that they can only charge what is advertised. We still hoped to enjoy the food but it was quite underwhelming. So no surprise we won't be going back. Very disappointing.

Perfect. A great welcome. Covid arrangements excellent. Mozzarella tomato 🍅 and Parma ham wow. Breakfast very good. A lovely place next door to a wonderful sweet shop. Steps on entry. About 3 and a step up to Toilet area. Highly recommended.

The cafe looked very welcoming from the outside, and we weren’t disappointed.We thoroughly enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches. The bread and salad were lovely and fresh.The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Everything felt very Covid safe. Our lunch was very good value for money. A very good experience.If we lived locally, we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

This restaurant is my favorite. I eat in a lot of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The team is very professional and the food they serve is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a good dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

One of the best cafes in Stockport, really impressive menu and a large choice of vegan options too. Really affordable and the staff are lovely- this is a firm favourite cafe to visit and all the staff wear masks and clean the tables well.

I called in here for a bite to eat on a recent day in Stockport, the cafe is clean and comfortable with a good varied menu and pleasant staff. The food was good also the coffee, will certainly be calling in here again.

Tiamo offers a nice alternative to typical fast food. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. They madly offer hot and cold sandwiches, coffees, teas and spirits at reasonable prices. The place is not noisy and the environment has a home feel to it, making it great for families, spending time chatting or catching up with friends.

The cafe is really well kept and offers great efficient service. The food was great and they offer choice for vegans including non dairy milkshakes and tapas. Would definitely visit again
