We’ve had food here on a number of occasions and every time is has been amazing! They have specials on when you collect from them which means we can get something new every time! I’d definitely recommend the katsu box, the scampi, the salt and pepper chips and the fish and chips! The curry sauce is also amazing!

The best food in whole of Southport and Birkdale. Been here twice and never disappointed. The taste and flavour from Kerala is natural , highly recommended. The menu is vast and caters to all , portion wise and tastewise is so natural and authentic Kerala style. 😍

Can’t fault this place. Best breakfast food you’d get anywhere in the world. But it’s the very lovely service you get here that makes it so special. Croziers loves their customers and that comes across. On that note, the Earl grey tea is awful. Other brands out there do a lot better. Bird & Blend, maybe Williamson’s. I’ll have coffee next time

Formerly known as Nasib Tandoori on Kew Road in Birkdale, this Indian take-away has new owners and a new name - The Tandoori. (I believe it is now owned & run by the people behind Kasturi on Eastbank Street in Southport town-centre.) On entering, I particularly liked the view through to the kitchen - giving me confidence in their offer. Selecting from a smart and comprehensive menu, I ordered the following: King Prawn Danchak (£9) Mushroon Rice (£2.60) Aloo Gobi side dish (£2.75) They advised me waiting time was 30 minutes and the food was ready in about 25 mins. All dishes were enjoyable. Decent portion sizes and good prices. The King Prawn dish had 10 large prawns which were very tasty. I asked for my vegetable dish to be made hot and they got this right. All in all it was pretty good and I`ll be back. Main course chicken curry is a very reasonable £4.75 & boiled rice is £1.65, so you can eat from here without breaking the bank. Free parking directly outside the venue, on the road nearby, or across the road. PRO TIP: ring ahead to place your order on 01704 568637. If you collect and spend £15 or more, you are entitled to a portion of pakora & poppadoms for free!

I’m so sentimental and nostalgic about the lovely Bistrot Vérité! I love it so much! Whenever I visit my friends in Lancashire, we always come here; it’s just so perfect for great times, fab friends and delicious food. It’s in the cutest village with rows of twinkling fairy lights. The restaurant has such great ambiance, smiles and laughter and the most welcoming staff. It’s just the hugest treat with the most sensational food and is the most perfect setting for the very BEST of times.

A short train ride from Southport station this specialist Belgium bar is definitely the place to if you like Belgium beers (some on draught). They also serve some cask beers but the range is limited. The staffs are all really friendly and helpful and it gets really busy at times as having a small interior sitting is at a premium. There is seating outside as well and it seems really popular with the locals.

This meal absolutely blew me away. One of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Service and surroundings also excellent.

We ordered lunch for a home, for 30 people. The staff were incredible. So accommodating and friendly! The food was all hot and tasted incredible. Not a single complaint from anyone. We ordered different foods and changed the order before picking it up and not only was the order spot on but tasted perfect as well. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to the team! We'll be back!

This is not the first time visiting the cafe and until our last visit we have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the food and service but the women (I won’t say lady) who was in charge of the ordering behind the counter was extremely rude to myself and my husband, her attitude is not a good one for example especially working with the people who have learning disabilities. This horrible experience was Friday 23rd February 2024 and we had asked if we could possibly have a jug of hot water to top our tea pot up, we were hit with a verbally aggressive “you will have to pay more because we are not giving you it if you are looking to get a free pot of tea”. We quietly said for her not to bother and as soon as our food arrived (which was lovely) and served by the gentle people with special needs with a great deal of love. We ate quietly being rather upset and left and will not be back to be spoken to so horribly again. This person should not represent such a great cause and wonderful learning establishment she is letting the company down We don’t ever make complaints but would not like her to abuse other customers this way.

The food offering has changed in here to Just Wings, which isn't to my liking but I'm reviewing on the basis of a good old karaoke evening that I participated in here a few weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'd gone out with a group of friends to Vérité, so wasn't expecting a karaoke finale. What a way to finish the night. I sing, so was happy to belt out 'Texas Hold'em' to finish off what was a very pleasant evening. Everyone in good spirits. Karaoke sound system pretty good too. 🎤

I have been going here since i was a child. The food here is amazing. Tastes fabulous and the staff here are really kind. Would totally recomend please show these guys some love 🙏

By far THE BEST English breakfast along side value to money I've had. Loved it. Brilliant. 1 reservation. I left no tip, as tips are suggested when you order, and pay, at the counter, before you have received any service... If I were to go back I would have to take cash to leave on the table AFTER I have eaten. Would highly recommend and will be going again! P.s. they would probably recive more tips if they were suggested tips at the end...

Haven't ordered from here for a good 10 years! Usually go with the same place near us. I remember it being very good. Wasn't sure if it'd still be good but it exceeded my expectations! My daughter is very fussy about pizza and she absolutely loved it! Garlic bread was delicious and I got a doner kebab with salad which was excellent! 100% recommend and will definitely order from here again!
