We’ve had food here on a number of occasions and every time is has been amazing! They have specials on when you collect from them which means we can get something new every time! I’d definitely recommend the katsu box, the scampi, the salt and pepper chips and the fish and chips! The curry sauce is also amazing!

The best food in whole of Southport and Birkdale. Been here twice and never disappointed. The taste and flavour from Kerala is natural , highly recommended. The menu is vast and caters to all , portion wise and tastewise is so natural and authentic Kerala style. 😍

Started taking my mum for breakfast and coffee when ever I can Absolutely genuinely nice people my mum is nearly blind but always looked after by the brilliant and lovely staff Thank you 🙏😊

Amazing French restaurant. Definitely worth visiting. The food was incredible. I had snails and frogs legs followed by pigeon. The wine, the food, the service and atmosphere was incredible and I’ll definitely be back!

This is not the first time visiting the cafe and until our last visit we have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the food and service but the women (I won’t say lady) who was in charge of the ordering behind the counter was extremely rude to myself and my husband, her attitude is not a good one for example especially working with the people who have learning disabilities. This horrible experience was Friday 23rd February 2024 and we had asked if we could possibly have a jug of hot water to top our tea pot up, we were hit with a verbally aggressive “you will have to pay more because we are not giving you it if you are looking to get a free pot of tea”. We quietly said for her not to bother and as soon as our food arrived (which was lovely) and served by the gentle people with special needs with a great deal of love. We ate quietly being rather upset and left and will not be back to be spoken to so horribly again. This person should not represent such a great cause and wonderful learning establishment she is letting the company down We don’t ever make complaints but would not like her to abuse other customers this way.

Formerly known as Nasib Tandoori on Kew Road in Birkdale, this Indian take-away has new owners and a new name - The Tandoori. (I believe it is now owned & run by the people behind Kasturi on Eastbank Street in Southport town-centre.) On entering, I particularly liked the view through to the kitchen - giving me confidence in their offer. Selecting from a smart and comprehensive menu, I ordered the following: King Prawn Danchak (£9) Mushroon Rice (£2.60) Aloo Gobi side dish (£2.75) They advised me waiting time was 30 minutes and the food was ready in about 25 mins. All dishes were enjoyable. Decent portion sizes and good prices. The King Prawn dish had 10 large prawns which were very tasty. I asked for my vegetable dish to be made hot and they got this right. All in all it was pretty good and I`ll be back. Main course chicken curry is a very reasonable £4.75 & boiled rice is £1.65, so you can eat from here without breaking the bank. Free parking directly outside the venue, on the road nearby, or across the road. PRO TIP: ring ahead to place your order on 01704 568637. If you collect and spend £15 or more, you are entitled to a portion of pakora & poppadoms for free!

This meal absolutely blew me away. One of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Service and surroundings also excellent.

We ordered lunch for a home, for 30 people. The staff were incredible. So accommodating and friendly! The food was all hot and tasted incredible. Not a single complaint from anyone. We ordered different foods and changed the order before picking it up and not only was the order spot on but tasted perfect as well. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to the team! We'll be back!

Been twice, once closed 3 hours before closing time, the other weren't taking any more food orders, bring back the old lunch box

A short train ride from Southport station this specialist Belgium bar is definitely the place to if you like Belgium beers (some on draught). They also serve some cask beers but the range is limited. The staffs are all really friendly and helpful and it gets really busy at times as having a small interior sitting is at a premium. There is seating outside as well and it seems really popular with the locals.

The food offering has changed in here to Just Wings, which isn't to my liking but I'm reviewing on the basis of a good old karaoke evening that I participated in here a few weeks ago. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'd gone out with a group of friends to Vérité, so wasn't expecting a karaoke finale. What a way to finish the night. I sing, so was happy to belt out 'Texas Hold'em' to finish off what was a very pleasant evening. Everyone in good spirits. Karaoke sound system pretty good too. 🎤

Busy day we expect that.. but after numerous visits here and no big niggles we have noted a decline in quality of food and general cleanliness of the tables etcover the past couple of visits... on whole the staff have always been pleasant and efficient but today we encountered one member who clearly was frustrated by it being busy and had no manners when directing people...and sadly the lady on the till was the same one who always seems to have an issue using the till to Input the orders( something none of the other's seem to have same issue with) which lead to quite a queue forming after us despite it being a simple order... her manner also in responding to customers has always been very questionable and she clearly does not listen to the customer as we often have to repeat ourselves... this was suppose to be a Birthday treat for dad at his request today...and it was ruined by staff attitude... sorry but it's seems like many places when they get big and busy things slip... having been in front of house and a chef I was not impressed today...

Ordered Bolognese but it when it came it was very dry . no sauce at all very disappointed. The cheesy meatballs were very good and real garlic bread not garlic pizza like most places sell its awful. just a bit of sauce with the Bolognese and it would of been a 5
