This is not the first time visiting the cafe and until our last visit we have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and the food and service but the women (I won’t say lady) who was in charge of the ordering behind the counter was extremely rude to myself and my husband, her attitude is not a good one for example especially working with the people who have learning disabilities. This horrible experience was Friday 23rd February 2024 and we had asked if we could possibly have a jug of hot water to top our tea pot up, we were hit with a verbally aggressive “you will have to pay more because we are not giving you it if you are looking to get a free pot of tea”. We quietly said for her not to bother and as soon as our food arrived (which was lovely) and served by the gentle people with special needs with a great deal of love. We ate quietly being rather upset and left and will not be back to be spoken to so horribly again. This person should not represent such a great cause and wonderful learning establishment she is letting the company down We don’t ever make complaints but would not like her to abuse other customers this way.

Nice cafe and good service Took two disabled people for coffee & cake and were made to feel welcome But . . . . £4.50 for an over baked scone with a bit of squirty cream which soon went flat !

We visited for lunch with 3 young children. The food is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and professional. My husband had the special which was Cumberland sausage and mash and we all had sandwiches or toasties and we were all very happy with our choices! They do kids boxes for the little ones. There is also a fantastic range of cakes and we all enjoyed a rocky road each and the scones looked gorgeous too. The garden centre outside is a work in progress at present but that’s probably the time of year. We parked on the road outside which was 2 hours free parking no return if a remember rightly. We will definitely visit again.

If ever there was an organisation that deserves your support, this is it!!! Love this place for 2 reasons. Firstly, The Learning Rooms coupled with 4 Seasons is a daycare centre for adults with disabilities or learning difficulties and the owners and staff do an amazing job. Secondly, the 4 Seasons cafe is without doubt the nicest place to eat, not just in Birkdale but also Southport. The food, which is served during the week by the clients from The Learning Rooms gaining them life skills in the process, is freshly cooked and great value for money - I recommend the breakfasts which will fill any hungry customer!! Served in a relaxed atmosphere by lovely staff. So get down there and enjoy your experience knowing that your money is also contributing to a wonderful organisation at the same time.

Absolutely amazing dog friendly afternoon tea. I thoroughly recommend! The teas are served on mini picnic benches and if you have the ‘party’ version you get savoury food too including hot soup and chicken nuggets! It is delicious and huge! It is also amazing value for money. Comes with tea or coffee but you also get little milkshakes and lemonades too. Can’t recommend enough- especially if you wanted to treat someone! Dog biscuits and water available for furry friends too. Will definitely be back for the delicious looking ploughman’s I saw floating past to other tables!

So this place is called Four Seasons “The Learning Rooms” Because the staff here train special needs adults how to work in particular environments for experience and training purposes. They do an absolute fantastic jo! I read a previous review somebody put on saying “prepare to wait’ ?? And a mere 3 stars?? I give five stars every time I go in here! It’s just a lovely place to sit and read the paper over a mug of coffee and a breakfast to die for. The breakfast is served with individual frying pans for the eggs, beans and mushrooms - cool idea ! And the latte is fab! The staff are friendly and smiley The clients who have individual learning difficulties are amazing and dedicated. I love coming here , and whoever misery guts put 3 stars below is just awful! Their is no better breakfast anywhere near here and I do them quite often!! Haha! Amazing food Amazing staff Amazing clients Can’t say any more Thanks guys

A friend had told us about the amazing breakfasts this place does so on Saturday morning we drove from maghull, arrived about 9.10am only to find the cafe didn't open until 10am. The lady was so lovely & let us come in & agreed to cook us breakfast anyway- thank you so much, we really appreciated it!! Service was brilliant, very helpful & friendly staff. Food was amazing- the boys had a bench which is for 2 people, I can't believe the value is for money with this place!! On the bench they got orange juice, tea/coffee, cereal, toast, yogurt, bacon, sausage, egg, beans, black pudding, tomato, hash browns, mushrooms!! Unbelievable!! Everything was top quality too, cooked well & really tasty! I had the veggie breakfast which again was brilliant value for money & was tasty too...I loved the hallomi! Thanks again for a brilliant breakfast! We'll be back soon!

Interesting business gift/garden shop useful for locals. Service in the cafe is provided by adults with additional needs so be prepared to wait. The Workers pay to attend for training via local authority funding or other private means. I'd question price in the cafe ? Thought could be a little cheaper . I know it has charitable status but when able table, chairs need a revamp.

We have walked past many times and wondered whether to pop in to what looked like a very welcoming place. Anyway, on Friday we did call in and regretted not doing so before. We had a couple of breakfasts and the team kindly peeled an apple for our german shepherd. The food was excellent - very fresh, high quality and served professionally and personally. The atmosphere was excellent amongst the team - really pleasant and customer focused. After decades of supporting young people, I was very impressed by the way that the extended team were greeted, briefed and included. Inspiring stuff indeed which makes it an extra special experience. We have breakfasted at a number of local eateries and this would be top of the list. Avoid the bigger places and dig for smaller treasure would be our advice. Fabulous - keep up the good work and we'll be back soon.

We visited the little cafe at the Four Seasons called the Honeypot. It is aptly named as the service was excellent, the coffee piping hot and delicious and we could sit with our dogs in the courtyard. It is certainly a Honeypot offering a good range of snacks and light meals at reasonable prices. All the staff are in training for either the horticultural or retail/ catering services this location offers. The gift shop is building up its range of well presented items again the staff are keen to assist and please. I think it will become a regular stopover on our walks in future.

Everything was amazing the food, the staff even the seating area. Full english at its best all the time. It started with a bowl of cereal (lots of different ones to pick from) and a glass of fresh OJ. Once we had ate that we got our hot drink tea or coffee, and the tables where cleaned and tables reset. Then out came the most amazing thing ever our full english on a park bench. Fantastic so much to eat on them too. All the staff are super friendly and cant wait to visit again real soon. Well done guys !!!

We went to the Four Seasons for breakfast, and had the Breakfast Bench for 2 people, to share, amazing! Juice, cereal, yoghurt, sausages, bacon, black pudding, egg, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, toast, tea or coffee. We couldn't finish it bur our Labrador at home certainly did later! In the garden at the rear there are rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, and a small play area. Lovely for small children. Highly recommended.

Well where can I start? Me and my girlfriend came to this little place as we heard they did a really good bench breakfast! From the word go it was awesome, we also liked how they had people with special needs working here. This puts a really nice touch on the business and as someone with an Aunty with special needs, it was great to be around such loving and caring people. We where greeted by a young chap called Daniel who couldn't do more for us. He brought us a present, told me how he likes football and showed me his Gollum impression (which may I add was amazing!) he took our order, arranged all of our glasses, plates, knifes and forks and then throughout made us laugh constantly! There was also other staff members there who where just as chatty and very very polite but Daniel was our waiter for the morning so it's only fair that he gets all the glory him self. We got our food and just.. Wow! As a qualified Chef I always say it's hard to get something that's so easy to make to taste so amazing but if your after a big breakfast with lots of taste your entering the don of all breakfasts in Southport! From presentation to the food it's self and the service we are VERY happy customers and will be returning to the establishment but next time we will be bringing more people with us! Enjoy your tip Daniel, many more to come!! See you soon guys!

Arriving shortly after opening time we availed of outside seating, in the shade underneath the sturdy build brick canopy. An inviting breakfast menu is on offer. Opting for an Eggs Benedict and cereal was perfect, with coffee and cappuccino. It was getting increasingly busy as time went on, but staff were great, cheerful and efficient throughout. A grand start to the day.

Having walked nearly 10 miles along the beach, the dunes and through the pinewoods, Kitty’s Tea Rooms were a very welcome sight! I only wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t resist the coffee walnut cake (YUM) and a very tasty Club Sandwich. Very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect.
