Korean Kitchen in Sefton

This meal absolutely blew me away. One of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Service and surroundings also excellent.

Excellent food is served fresh to the table, as you can see in the kitchen, which is open to the Restaurant. The team serving is excellent and not slow. In our opinion, it is well worth a trip, but booking a table may be required.

Best Fried Chicken we have ever tasted . Order prepared for collection at time requested and service with a smile. Will definitely return.

Having been past the restaurant on a few occasions, usually before the 12.00 lunch time opening, and after noting the menu complete with photo's posted outside, I decided this was a place I'd need to try at some time. And I'm glad I made the time. The restaurant was clean, service was quick and efficient, prices very reasonable considering the portion sizes. I opted for the marinated beef. Absolutely tender and delicious, served with vegetables and sticky rice. While unable to clear the plate I did give it a good go. I even tried one of the Korean soft drinks. The only thing I found not quite Korean ws the music - the European pop music added nothing to the ambience of the place, but I'll be back, that is definite

What a fantastic first experience of Korean food! We had the taster menu which was great. Pork, chicken and beef, plus rice and salad. Served with pickled radishes and bean sprouts and the most delicious fried chicken I’ve ever had! Who knew that Korean fried chicken doesn’t have the skin on! A revelation for someone who picks it off! The lady who looked after us was great, offered us extras of the pickles and sauces. Too much food to eat - had to take it home! Highly recommend you giving this a try for a change to Chinese or Indian.

There were four of us. We ordered 2 x of the taster menu offerings from the menu. Each for 2 to share. So plenty to go at. One of us loved it. The remaining 3 found it very hot indeed spice wise. It perhaps needed a cooling dipping sauce along side. Service wast attentive and good, though advice on the menu might have been helpful.

Three of us went for lunch. Received good service, had a decent pint, the prices were reasonable and the chili chicken was great. Will definitely go back in the future!

Absolutely amazing food here greeted warmly picked our table and choose the crispy chicken with butter and garlic , kimchi salad, braised tofu with salad and sticky rice, so tasty and plenty to eat best meal this year, will definitely return menu is varied and interesting, so great to eat completely different and delicious food throughly enjoyed

I called in the day to book, and the owner/chef mastered my questions and recommended the SET for the 1st visit as this was the best way to try several things. When we arrived, Eddie gave us a nice greeting and offered drinks. We ordered the SET to start as there were 3 of us. Then, when we ordered mains to follow, Eddie wisely advised us that it would be too much, and perhaps we should look again after we had eaten the SET. He was right. It was plenty for us. We then had desserts. They were delicious. A great meal, nice atmosphere, and perfect service. Will definitely visit again when next in town. They also do a takeaway service. If only I lived closer. The highlight of my visit to Southport.

First time trying Korean and it wont be the last. Great food, fresh and flavoursome. Staff were great. Good friendly atmosphere. Would defo recommend.

We went to eat, got there for just gone 9pm. It’s advertised as being open till 10pm. We were quickly and swiftly ejected as told it was closed. Don’t bother

First time here waiter was very helpful and the service was great the food was even better we ordered too much but eat it all its something different on lord street and will be back again

Had the most amazing meal at this gem of restaurant went for a birthday meal out with 9 of us and it was brilliant service was excellent and the food is to die for this was my 1st time experiencing Korean food and wow I am hooked cant wait to return to try more of the amazing dishes we all had something different and one of our party was vegan and all the meals were outstanding and been able to see the talented team do there craft in the kitchen was nice to see the hard work going into producing an all-round enjoyable experience thankyou to you all

Delicious food and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced too. We had 2 starters between 4 and a main meal each and that was plenty!

Drove from Crosby looking for something different went on Wednesday tea time , spotted this gem !! Wow beautiful tasty food , faultless . Dumpling broth amazing had starters and mains and Korean drinks were lovely with a Korean beer cass which is spot on , , the flavours and freshness is unreal , and all cooked to order which is great , waiting on staff really nice , we will be back

Take away meal, I had the home alone beef and the Korean Yangnyeom Chicken. Both were excellent. food was delivered quickly and well presented.

Just got back from a meal here. Authentic Korean food in a relaxed setting. Our second visit, and it won’t be our last. Loved it!

Popped in for a quick take away to see what it was like. Really poor customer service the Irish guy serving me couldn't have been any more abrupt and unhelpful. I asked for the Korean fried chicken which was advertised in the window but he said he didn't know what that was and shoved a menu in my face. Place felt very unfriendly. Food was done in about 1minute which was very quick . Portion was a decent size but very bland . I asked for some takeaway cutlery to eat the food which seemed to cause some confusion and eventually got some chopsticks given to me , felt like I had asked for some massive freebie the way they reacted ... always like to give places the benefit of the doubt and maybe they were having a bad day but won't be returning

We were in Southport for a couple of days and decided to eat here due to reading reviews. We're so glad we did as the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We had two types of fried chicken, some kimchi and rice, all of which were so tasty and filling. Large portion sizes meant that we struggled to finish it all. We would definitely go back if we're ever in Southport again. 10/10.

We went before when it was in Ainsdale and it was nice but the Southport version is even better. Great food and nice simple restaurant with good service. Would definitely recommend.

Still as good. New lunch time menu and the wife still couldn't manage to finish it. Talented chef and great waiter. Perfect

I highly recommend trying Korean Kitchen, the food is delicious bursting with flavours. Good portion sizes and freshly prepared. Good selection of drinks. Great staff.

Amazing food, really quick and fresh. Loved everything. The kimchi was really authentic and the garlic butter chicken is actually the best thing I’ve ever eaten! Already planned my next visit!
