The best restaurants in Salford North West

They don’t even pick up their phone, honestly when will black African or Jamaican shops start showing any proffesionalism, it’s getting quite boring

Cost extra for gravy, who on earth eats plain chips?

Food arrived fresh and hot, however we tried to call the restaurant several times (first to amend order and then to find out delivery time) and there was no answer. There was no option to add salad and sauce to the chicken burger meal when ordering and burgers arrived dry with neither on. Food arrived 20 minutes after expected time - total wait 1hr 15mins.

Frozen chips, fish wasn’t too bad and salad had seen better days. The indoor eating area was absolutely filthy, we started eating in there but decided to eat in our car instead due to the state of the place.

Sunday dinner was really bad. The beef quality was not good at all. We left it behind. The potatoes were reheated and its explained this is how they do it to serve many people. Personally if Toby Calvary can provide fresh potatoes to a mass of people, the Lowry can. The only thing we ate was the veg from the Sunday roast. The sticky pudding was nice, soft, sweet and really tasty. The service by the waitress Neah was impeccable. She was lovely and so attentive. The only reason I would ever return would be for Neah’s service. Thank you for a lovely experience Neah.

Booked the delivery for 8pm to get the kids in bed and it turned up at 6.50 nearly turned it away.

My crew mate Thomasz Kalupa has already wrote a review on here. What he states is correct. Our first visit we had no problems whatsoever but the 2nd time visiting you had a bad attitude towards us ambulance staff. You said ' no free garlic bread' and took it away from us with a bad attitude because we wanted to pay separately. You then say this was because we didn't spend over 10 pounds?.... but yet you charged me 14 pounds for a pizza?? Not being funny but your customer service skills need to improve! And as for the food........let's just say it was edible. Will not be going here again and will let all our colleagues know not to dine here either. Think you need to take that NHS sticker out your window as you clearly don't respect hard working people spending their hard earned money in your shop! And before you comment with 'but this and that'........ the proof is there and previous reviews prove the same faults. Do not call my colleague a liar.....grow some and own up to your faults

Ordered beef Sunday dinner today everything was warm- cold. Not one member of staff asked if it was ok. Tbh I couldn’t be bothered complaining beef was very fatty and needed sharper knives to cut through it. Mashed potato was stone cold. Asked for well done roast potatoes defo ain’t Bessie’s. Also cauliflower cheese was raw cauliflower with cheese sauce poured over. Generally drinks nice food 4/10. I’ve always rated this restaurant but seems to be going down hill now sorry! Really disappointed considering this was my late Mother’s Day meal as I was away last week

Order was not delivered at all. The courier had a different address than I have in my order confirmation!
