The Dutch Fishmen in Salford

I was gonna slate them, asked for Fish, chips and gravy, don't do gravy. OK then fish, chips and peas, don't do peas, Only what's on the menu. OK Fish and chips then, ooh and hash browns please, clearly on the menu on the side of the bus. No hash browns. I got the meal, "WTF" frozen chips?. But I was hungry, so I ate it. Fish was fantastic, Chips were OK for frozen good job I got dips with it. So reprieved, I would eat it again, good price also, Fish,chips meal £7.50 Inc drink, salad and 2 dips.

A chippy offering lots of different items on the menu and decent value! My friend and I shared some Cheese Triangles (the filling was alike macaroni cheese) and I got Cheesy Cod Fish with Chips for myself. The tables could have done with a good wipe, to be honest.

I ordered food, last week at 12.30pm, the food came at 3pm. It was not the dutch fishermans fault, it was fusion kitchen , who got the order wrong, then the postcode wrong, so the food was cold when it got here

Highly recommended! The best food I've had in a very long time. Would rather go here than any fancy restaurant! Portions are generous, all made fresh to order.

Not too bad at all. Very generous sized burger. Hot, fresh and spicy but a bit too much sauce heavy on the bun near the point where it could get soggy. But taste wise, we were very surprised and impressed. Great value for money too.

My partner and I ate here (Manchester Fort) on 3rd January 2022. Had cod and chips plus some fried prawns. Considerably better than expected. Everything cooked fresh. Decent quality. Portions aren't very big. Peri peri salt a bit weird but it works as doors the garlic mayo.

Late evening visit to this strangest of chippys whilst working in the locality. Fish and chips not normally my thing, however ordered the fish burger and was amazed ! Two huge chunks of fresh, crispy and delicious white fish on the freshest of bread rolls with a little salad and their own recipe sauce. Everything cooked to order and in full view. Would definitely recommend and will be back with the family.

Didnt expect such great fish, had the fish bites and they were cooked perfectly with a slightly sweet batter and excellent crunch. Also had the paprika chips and mayo which were lovely. Would highly recommend the fish bites, great for a very reasonable bite to eat in a quirky place.

Awesome and just what was needed ! Cooked to order, tasty, fresh and hot. Chips were well seasoned and with the righty amount of crunch. Burger wasn’t greasy and lettuce crispy! Good value too, will definitely be back !

Ive been to this bus hut just of Bury new rd a few times. 1st time I tried the mix burger meal, which is a piece of chicken breast and piece of beef burger with cheese and salad in a bun accompanied by peri chips and a special orange sauce which is a sort of a tangy mayonnaise sauce which i found to be delicious, I would defo recommend all to get this when visiting. 2nd visit I tried the fish and chips which I wasnt too impressed by, tooo much batter on fish with a soggy and bland like taste, so yeh if visiting try the burger as above not the fish and chips. Very cheap price wise,the above burger meal costs just £6, you cant go wrong.

once again the Dutch fishermen come on out on top had some fish (cod cooked fresh) and chips to take away when i got home they were still hot and not greasy they came in a box with salad and 2 dips in little containers one was tartare sauce and not sure what other dip was but is was lovely to dip chips in ( a little spice to it) but very nice also they do a fresh orange and by fresh i mean they squeeze the oranges then and there this place is a hidden gem. they are also on just eat app and deliver as well. and the novel bit is that its a double decker bus with the upper level as seating and tables if you want to eat in

Stumbled across this quirky set up. Fabulous pleasant staff, the food is scrummy, really enjoyed our visit. I had fish bites and fried prawns, my partner had grilled fish and chips. Extremely fresh, cooked whilst you wait. Will most definitely be returning.

This place is great and it's ina double decker bus downstairs they cook while either outside ables to sit and eat or upstairs on bus is tables and chairs. From fish prawns all others and also burgers, chips etc itahidden gem
