Simply great food, friendly proprietors, the closest I’ve come to real Italian food outside of a few restaurants in London and of course, Italy itself.

En route to the lakes lunch Fish cake and chips and crispy chicken sandwich and triple cooked chips . Chips were definitely out of the freezer , the fish cake was ok but nothing more and my husband said the crispy chicken was boring . Tartare sauce served with the fish cake was one of those really cheap ones out of a jar . For nearly £13 for a chicken sandwich plus £3.75 for a portion of chips it should have been better

Lovely little cafe that I managed to visit on a quiet Sunday.

Food was fantastic. They offer both vegan and nonvegan pizza. The crust is amazing! Spoil yourself and go with original crust. The space is fun and the staff are great.

This place has been our local for over 30 years and we’ve seen it go through some dire times, but thankfully the current team are really pulling out all the stops with front of house and the kitchen. We’ve enjoyed many great evenings here over the last year or so and the food is now excellent. Great to have a local to pop in to have a decent meal and a natter with the regulars. Keep up the good work.

Service bad waited 2hours overall 😒 for our brunch when delivered food was missing. Got the missing food eventually but had finished our meal.overall very disappointed .😒
